Hogwarts - A new generation (OOC)

[spoiler=Plot] Many years after the downfall of Voldemort, in 2016, Hogwarts still stands, all the old teachers have retired, the grounds keeper has retired and new students are comming in. However, it just wouldn't be Hogwarts without some mystery, prepare yourself for a magical adventure in the world of Witchcraft and Wizardry!

Cayden's hair is a wavey blonde that extends to slightly below his shoulders, his Blue-green eyes are large, average distance appart and almond shaped. Cayden's nose is slightly crooked, but rather then detracting from his natural handsomness, this seems to enhance it as his nose now points down on an interesting angle towards his mouth which usually bears a soft, thoughtful smile. Cayden has two piercings in his left ear, one a crucifix studd, the other filled by a silver sleeper. Cayden wears his hufflepuff robes with pride, but his choice of footwear is unusual, a pair of steel-capped work boots. Cayden always carries a guitar.

Biography: Cayden was raised effectively as a wizard on the outskirts of a muggle community in Wales. mother was a wand maker and his father a successful farmer. Given the vast amount of space the family had on thier farm, Cayden was able to have magical pets, he had many over time, but he became most attached to his pet Acromantuala, affectionately named 'Lolth' after the mythological spider queen in the Dungeons and Dragons game. Lolth eventually died, leading to two things. The first, Cayden's learning guitar as a way to vent his depression, and the second, and more important: Cayden's mother crafted his first Wand using Lolth's fang, this type of wand core would usually give a wand a blood-thirsty cruel nature, but Lolth was devoid of this nature in life and instead this wand lends it's self to charms, a curious phenominon.

Not a close one, a distant relationship to say, Crabbe or something wouldn't be too bad, but say being Harry Potter's god-daughter would be stupid. Asside from that I don't know that I like the wand, a metal rod isn't a magical core, and the fact that you found it, I dunno.

Biography: Bakura was born with a somewhat-feminine body, much to the dismay of his parents, but at least he had lots of intelligence, but to them, appearance was more important. Bakura, at the age of 5, accidentally stumbled on his father's, who was a potionist, potions and accidentally gave himself cat ears, which only added to his disgraceful appearance, but at least he got powerful hearing. To make up for his ridiculous appearance, which parents refer to, when he was 8, he went to South East Asia and took the wood of a Teak tree. He then returned home and later, when he was 9, convinced a professional to 'freeze' a part of lightning, on the very day there was a storm, conveniently enough. He then visited a wands expert and told her to forge a wand out of the material he had gathered during the years. Only months before his invitation to Hogwarts arrived, his wand was ready. But the wand had not chosen him. So it's power, which is probably even more powerful than he-who-must-not-be-named's wand, was limited. But he had earned the respect of his parents, and that was good enough. And as a present, his parents gave him a dragon. At first, he worried, but they had reassured him that they have permission from Hogwarts. The dragon takes a long time to grow, and it is only as dangerous as a mouse. A few days afterwards, it was time for Hogwarts, and his bag was mostly filled with caps, to hide his cat-ears.

While at school, Oleander had found a talent for both mentoring and speaking different languages (even rivaling that which Bartemius Crouch once knew), and so, when he graduated, Oleander spent some time going on a Magical Tour, and then, when he returned, he applied for the Ancient Runes post at Hogwarts. (Ancient languages were his specialty.) It was to his great joy he was accepted, and after several years of outstanding teaching, Oleander was named Head of Ravenclaw House. Oleander likes to connect with and get to know the kids in his House, helping to encourage them and get them to do their best.

Biography: Luvia is the youngest of three in the Bloodmire family. She has two older twin brothers that have already graduated from Hogwarts, and have jobs in the minstry as Aurors. Her mother had died after giving birth to her, and surprisingly her father and brothers were glad that she was gone. Apparently, she was a mean terrible woman but her father didn't want to divorse her while she was pregnant with Luvia. Unfortunately, her father also works in the minstry in the Intelegence department, so there are times when he isn't home for days and Luvia is stuck alone with only the house maids and butlers.

 

She has a good relationship with her family, but has never met anyone on her mothers side and frankly she didn't want too. Luvia has been at Hogwarts for 5 years, and she is one of the brightest in the school. Of course she has her worst subjects like everyone else, but it's not bad enough to be failing the class and she usually has to stay up all night just to finish up any homework for the class. She has a passion for Potion making and has the highest marks in her class. At the start of her fifth year she had started taking advanced courses, and is happy and welcomes the challenge.
