Tales of Symphonia: Fatalize

 

This epic battle theme came from an epic RPG. The theme makes the battle feel more intense and fast-paced than it should have been (and they already are intense and fast-paced battles). You can literally feel as though you are Lloyd Irving slashing away at Sheena Fujibayashi and her guardians or at Regal Bryton the convict. That alone makes this a great theme to fight to.

This battle theme is awesomesauce. It makes Chuck Norris cry at night because it is too awesome for him to handle. But seriously, this is an amazing battle theme. It starts off pretty strong, with just a moment of ominousity, then just gets straight to the action of the song. It's pretty fast-paced, and is dramatic. Whoever has composed this song gets my respect. It is just too awesome to ignore.

Okay, I've been really busy. So I'll tell you what. You guys request as much as you can (but don't exhaust every possible request), and I will continue updating on Monday, July 26.

 

I hate to discontinue a thread, but I won't have any time for it in the next few days. If someone could send me a reminder PM on Monday, that would be great.

From now on, to make it easier for me, specify what channel you want your music to go into if there is some deviation. Like, something that is a non-battle theme from Pokemon will go into Goldenrod Tower. But if you have something that is a battle theme, just confirm whether you want it in WCA or the other appropriate channel.

 

And when you are writing descriptions, make sure to say you want the song in Yourequest. I can't really tell if something is just a general description so I get a background knowledge of the song or if you actually want it in the thread. =)

 

Sorry about the discontinuation of the thread. I'll make it up to you somehow on Monday. D':

The first 30 seconds is just a simple solo. Then gradually, one by one, every other instrument comes in, the Pan-flute, the 'Cello, the Timpani, the Clarinet, the Flute, one by one each instrument comes in as the songs suddenly bursts into life with a glorious last phrase. Then the boss theme kicks in. What a piece.

This is the first time where I'll be updating the music, but not adding it to the thread. I have some free time, but I said I'll continue the thread on Monday, so you won't see the updates until tomorrow.

 

Since I've missed many days of updates, I will be doing one song for each channel bar Yourequest. Because you guys are too lazy to write damned four-line descriptions for your songs. But there is an easy way to take advantage of this. Since I don't have much YR material, if you write four lines for your favorite song(s), you have a MUCH higher chance of them appearing in the thread. Like, almost 100%, really.

 

And as promised, I will use that one song from Jord that I was going to use earlier. You should know what that is looking at his request sheet, really. I've loved that song for awhile now, but never updated it.

As I said before, six updates tomorrow. I won't tell you the songs, but I'll tell you that I chose six different people and took songs from their posts for each station.

 

Alfred-Kun gets the Generic Radio Station update.

Jord gets the Goldenrod Tower update.

Saint Dane gets the Tune Nostalgia update.

Lily gets the Remix Revamp update.

ZeroChill gets the Warning Challenger Approaching update.

Dark gets the Conversion update.

Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons/Ages Ominous Message

 

This song, even though the game was on the GBC, is wonderful. It plays as you go to the Black Tower in Ages, and the Northern Peak in Seasons. Both of those are the last two main areas of the games, and the music fits. It's even stranger in Ages, since the villainous Varen has been messing around with Time (don't ask) and this is pretty much the final countdown. Too bad the boss wasn't as epic as this song. So yeah, awesome song, awesome games, not so awesome final boss in Ages.

Dark' date=' I dare you to learn to play this on the piano.[/s'] None of you would have noticed the epicness of Cynthia's Pre-Battle music since you all probably skipped to the battle. Without the title, no one would have guessed that this is from Pokemon. This is just epic, and I wish it was longer. It's one of those songs that make me wish I can play piano, but even if I did know, I'd probably never learn to play this song.

All you have to do is describe the song, tell what mood it sets, et cetera. Criticize the song, in a sense. Just look at any of my descriptions. And if you want, add some crude humor. =)

 

Yeah, you can bump your old requests, or really anyone's old requests. Makes it easier for me, since I don't have to go 28 pages back to find a GT song, or something. =)
