The Video Game Music Station
Final Fantasy XIII- Fang's Theme

I love adventurous songs. Who doesn't? Listening to this song gives you the visual of a wide beautiful field with tons creatures, trees, and amazing views. This song has both dramatic moments and calm moments. 1:58 to 2:18 is definitely my favorite part. It's when the song reaches it's dramatic peak. Later, it returns to the calm adventurous tune. This theme fits Fang perfectly; brave, full of spirit, and can be both fierce and nice. Final Fantasy has always been known to have great music, and FFXIII doesn't disappoint.

The intro gives you the feeling that you're about to enter an intense battle, but then it turns upbeat. It doesn't sound evil to me, but it's still awesome nonetheless. The background music might sound repetitive, but you don't really notice it. The dramatic build up at 1:34 is epic. Then it goes to a dramatic pause. After that, it goes back to the upbeat tone. I just wish it was more dark to fit Cyrus' evilness. <--Corny word is corny.

Warning: Do not go into the Old Chateau during night time. It's guaranteed to freak you out. Imagine this: You're in an abandoned mansion. You go into the kitchen, and you see a ghost! You run to the other room, and there's another ghost! Add Rotom coming out of the TV and the creepy decorations, and it's sure to at least make you flinch. This song is just scary as hell. It does a very good job on making a scary atmosphere. If you ever make a haunted house for Halloween, put this song on.

This should be on a Dance Dance Revolution game or something. The fast paced feeling fits the cheery Game Corner. I'm sure they throw rave parties in the Game Corner all the time. I half expected there to be a disco ball, rainbow strobe lights, and flashing walls when I first heard this. I bet this song is the reason people keep playing and wasting their money. They're completely hypnotized by this awesome music.

Pokemon HG/SS- National Park

This is just amazing music. It's calm, soothing, and relaxing. Not to mention it has an awesome introduction. It does make you think of a calm beautiful park. This song should be able to make anybody's mood go up even if it's just a little. At 1:22, new instruments come in. The song is still has a relaxing tone, but it's more lively. It’s a wonderful song filled with sugar, spice, and everything nice. I feel like riding my bike to the park now. =)

need moar poasts

Two updates today' date=' maybe in a few minutes, maybe in thirty minutes. =)

[/quote']

I'm sorry. Here you go.

And also these' date=' which, if you add one, you should add them all just in one group. Listen to them in order, and listen to the changes. You know about Majora's Mask three day cycle of doom, right? Each day, the moon gets closer to crashing into Termina, meaning each day the music get darker. I like it.

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Clock Town Day One

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Clock Town Day Two

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Clock Town Day Three

Also these. Adding on to what he said.

..... Each song also shows each day and your goals. Day 1 tells about the preliminary things you must get done. "Okay, I have to get here, and learn a certain song." By the time you've gone through the quest to get the song, you have Day 2. "Oh man, I'm running out of time, I am in the middle this temple. I have to get this done quickly!" Then, you get that almost done, and Day 3 comes along. "NO! I've still got to fight the boss and give these shards of the Great Fairy to her and get my reward! Almost out of time... Got it!"

I'm never going to give up on these songs.

THIS ISN'T UP THERE YET?

That line is getting old. If you don't request it and I don't care about the damn song, how the hell do you expect it to be up there?

I'm hoping for a GT update today, but I might use one of Twig's Pokemon songs for YR.

No, I mistook Zanarkand for this. When I was skimming through the entries, and saw that wasn't up there, and nobody requested it, I freaked. >_>

So, there's going to be 1 YR and 1 GT song?

I have one of today's updates confirmed atm, and it was one of Twig's Pokemon songs for Yourequest. I'll scour the last eight pages or so and get a second one, otherwise I'll think of something to add to a non-GMS station.

Also, there has been an update. You will receive two positive reps if I use your submitted name for this channel.

Next channel will be for two types of music:

~ Instrumental* (piano, mainly, but also guitar, ocarina, etc.) covers of video game songs.

~ Real-life songs turned into 8-bit pieces.

*Instrumental can also include Mario Paint compositions.

Please halp, because I really don't have a name for this type of station.

For the new instrumental channel.... can't come up with a name, really. D:

This guy can play. At least, I think it's a guy. All you see is this person's hands moving gracefully across the keys. However, what you hear is most important, and that is where this talented pianist delivers. Never before have I heard such a peaceful and flowing rendition of this song. It is absolutely beautiful, and I crave sheet music. Even if I can't play it, this piece would be fun to learn. ^^

This is just a small sampling of the awesomeness that is the Minibosses. I stumbled across this NES cover band a few years ago, and from the moment I heard them, I was hooked. They add a rock theme to all of their songs, and despite yourself, you find your foot tapping to the driving beats. The songs I selected above are their best pieces in my opinion, and I do hope you choose at least one. An instrumental channel is not complete without the Minibosses.

These are the three types of music you'll have in the same channel.

(Not limited to only piano covers. Guitar' date=' violin, blah, they are all fine.)

(Only video game songs on Mario Paint; so no Fire and Flames on MPC for the channel.)

(Real-life songs (minus vocals, ofc) that have had 8-bit "remixes".)[/size']

Okay, then it's fine. =)

You wanted a description?
It sounds like one of the most memorable Mario songs, with a little tweak. You hear a little "bwup du bwup" in the background repeatedly. It also sounds like a small town, but a joyful one. Many of the parts repeat itself, but the Oboe in this song, while blending with the violin, make a perfect melody. It's like a walk through a pleasent town, almost like a dream, but your actually feeling it and hearing it. It almost wants to make you sway, like you've just had the most pleasent day. "The Star Festival" is truly one of the great works of music.
The begginning makes you feel like you've just entered someplace mysterious, with the hair on your arms and legs rising. The beat that you begin to hear then gets you more and more excited, when just around the corner comes the what you think is the peak of the song, but what is just the drums. The begginning begins to come back in later, but not with the same feeling. This time it makes you feel like you've just encountered a monster. The end though, makes you feel like your going to battle.

Nuuu, you don't get it. I'm looking for real-life versions of the songs that are different from the original. If the original video game song was played on the piano, I don't want a real-life version played on the piano. I want something on MPC, or violin, or something.

If the in-game song sounds the same as the orchestrated version (or uses the same instruments, really), I don't want it.

No offense Dark. You don't get it.

That's the original. It's COMPLETELY different from the Orchestrated version, instrument wise.
