Yu-Gi-Oh: The City of Shadows [Started/ Accepting/Pg 13]

Prologue: Long ago the city of Paradox was built by an ancient civilization to protect some of the most powerful cards ever created. But, when a dark orginsation wanted these cards, they took the cards and used their powers to creat new dark creatures of great powers. But heros took back the cards and defeated the dark creatures, thus restorying peace. However, an ancient prophicy predicted that the cards of both good and evil would return to power...

 

Plot: Long after the ancient civilization ended, the city was rebuilt compleastly modernised. Many structers still stand from the old city, some are even said to hold some of the leagendary cards, but thats where we come to a problem. Many rouge dulests have some to raid the city in search of the cards and the police force is powerless to stop them. But today is a new day, not of darkness or light, but of begining. Someone has found the first of the cards and more will follow.

Description: Ryan is a graduiate of one of the highest ranked duel schools in the world. He whears a blue and white jacket, black shirt, and brown pants.

Also this triend accepts new characters by pivate messages to me and in the occ forum, also non-offical yu-gi-oh card are allowed. We need at least five characters to start.

Name: Rhykotsu (Last name is a mystery..actually it's because I haven't thought of one epic enough) Please call him Rhy. (Rai)

Description: Rhykotsu was a rogue duelist that was successful at obtaining a God Card. However, instead of using it for himself, he left it a pegasus's Grave. He took a nap, when he woke up, he found two cards, both were to become his Ace Cards: Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier, and Sky-Bound Imortal: Jake.

Description: Marie is is often called The Sorceress and is a physic duelist. her deck is all fey monsters and spellcastors. she can see and manipulate other's and her own aura. she is an orphan that grew up on the streets and tought herself how to duel much stronger oponents and Turbo Duel. Her runner is black with a dark grey triangle on the front of it.

Description: Lucas came to this city for adventure. He mat ryan and then two have been good friends for a long time. He whears a black mussle shirt and jeans. He has short brown hair and green eyes.

Occ: Alright well go ahead and start.

 

Ryan and Lucas ran down the tunnel twords what they hoped whs what thry were looking for. "If i'm right two of the legendary cards are right here!" Lucas said. "But did they have to be in the sewer, i mean wouldn't they just get socked?" Ryan remarked as the two reached a fork in the tunnel. "Well, wich way is it?" Ryan said watching Lucas pull a piece of paper from his pocket. "This says that both ways should contain some of the cards, i'll take the right and you can take the left." the two ran down their seprate paths towards what would come to be their destiny.

 

Ryan ran and ran along the socked concreet until he reached a circleular room with stone indents that looked like cards. He walked around the room and touched one of the stone indents. It and all the other stone card indents lit up and and rushed towards Ryan. Now, in his hand was an entire deck full of the legendary card. "Jackpot....." Ryan said running through the cards.

 

Lucas reached a dark torch lit room. In the center was a stone imprint of a card. "This is strange," said Lucas as he reached his hand down to touch the tablet and the stone turned to a card in his hand. Lucas looked down at it reading the words alound. "Dark Metalmorph..." as he read the words he felt himself slowly slip away while someone else took over.....

[Auralady]

Marie looked up at the old warehouse. This is the place it's comming from? Oh well, might as well check it out., she thought and whent inside. Letting the strength of the aura she was fallowing guide her she came to a rug. She rolled it to the side and found an old hatch. She sighed and lept into it before landing in a strange room. She could tell their were tunnels everywhere but fallowed the glowing aura path to anouther almost antichamber. There, on a stone chair, was a deck glowing with aura. As she walked over to it a huge silver dragon appeared. She stumbled back and it focused it's gaze on her but didn't attack. It lowerd it's head and she reached out a hand and pet it. Then she withdrew her hand it it raored before disappearing. Marie picked up the deck and the top card glowed brightest, "Aura Dragon.", she whispered to herself before putting the deck into her duel disk and leaving.

Ryan stared at the ancient deck in aw. He coud sware there were voices comming from the deck. He set the deck into his pocket and ran down the tunnel. "Lets see Lucas get a better find that this..."

 

Lucas stood infront of the tunel Ryan had gone down. "I'm tired of waiting," said Lucas "I need to crush him quickly and move on." Just then Ryan come out of the hall. "You wont beleave this Lucas," Ryan said pulling his new deck from his pocket. Lucas examned the cards and smiled. He figured hed act natural until he could get Ryan to duel him and the rest......"I only got one card, but thats ok how about you and i have a duel." Lucas said with a smile. "Your on ill take the first move." Ryan took out his duel dick and put on his dack as Lucas did the same. "I draw," said Ryan. At this point he know nothing about these new cards so heed have to wing a stragity, he examned his hand and found the best monster. "I summon Crystal Lion, in attack mode." [1800/800]. "I end my turn..."

“My move! Draw!”

 

Two people were dueling, one thug that started an ante duel, seeking Rhy’s special card, and Rhykotsu. Rhykotsu had bright, white hair and his usual clothes. “Hmm…” He checked his field. Jar of Greed’s on the field, and I’ve got him cornered with Gemini Elf.” The field: Rhy had 4000 LP, the Thug had 1900. On Rhy’s field was Gemini Elf [1900/900] and his face down, Jar of Greed. The thug had a facedown monster and no face downs. In other words, Rhykotsu was kicking ASS! “I sacrifice Gemini Elf to Tribute Summon White Horned Dragon!” [2200/1400] “Normally, I’d be able to remove from play up to five spell cards in your grave yard to have this guy gain 300 Attack for each card removed. However, you have none.” The thug sighed in relief. Rhykotsu scanned his hand for anything that would let him PWN this duel. There it was: the card he drew, Noble Man of Cross Out!

 

“it is now! I activate a spell card from my hand, Noble Man of Cross out! This card destroys and removes from play one facedown monster on your field!” “Oh no!” His facedown was removed. “An effect-less monster, so I don’t have to explain its other effect.” "And now, I attack you directly! White Horned Dragon! Light Flare!” “Argh!” The man sighed as his LP dropped to zero. “Here! Take it!” He man threw Rhy a Dark Magician Girl. “Thanks…not a bad card.” Rhykotsu commented as he inspected the card. The thug fled. Then Rhykotsu turned. “I wonder if that Warehouse has anything interesting in it.” he spoke to himself as he began to walk towards it.

Lucas smiled. "I draw," Lucas looked at his hand and his smile widened. "I activate my Plasma Dragons affevt from my hand, if you have a monster on your field and i don't i'm allowed to summon it without a tribute, so i summon Plasma Dragon in attack mode," [2300/2100] "Now destroy his Crystal Lion [Crystal Lion is destroyed] I end my turn." Lucas said, all he had to do was bite his time until he could add Dark Metalmorph to his hand. "I draw, and thanks to Crystal Lions effect I can add him to my hand at the end of the turn hes destroyed once per duel, and then activate my Polerimsation spell card to fuse my Cystal Lion and and Ruby tiger to summon Gem Cimeria, [2400/1800] "Destroy his Plasma Dragon, I end my turn."

Lucas grinded his teeth. "I draw," and then his wicked smile came back. "I activate the my Dark Metalmorph field spell, now all my monster become dark metal creatures that are invornable to trap cards, and ill summon Dark Metal Hyderelectric Dragon." [1800/0000] "And ill also activate my limit removal to dubble his attack points [3600/0000] Destroy his gem cimeria." When his Cimeria was destroyed Ryan relly felt the pain and he was knocked over with a deep cut in his face, he couldn't move. The monsters then disapered and Lucas walked over to Ryan. "I could finish you off right now, but ill save that for later, after now whats the fun in taing care of week pray, AHAHAH." And just like that Lucas walked away into the shadows leaveing Ryan on the sewer floor, cold and injured....

[Auralady]

When Marie left she stopped above a sewage pipe cover. She looked down at it and narrowed her eyes. She uncoverd the sewage pipe and jumped into the dark hole. When she landed she felt a shock run through her. No way!, she thought, A strong Aura?! Here!? How!? She turned and looked down the dark tunnel in front of her before going down it. "Man it's like a laberinth down here.", she said to herself as she wound her way through the tunnel systems. Then she stoped when she came to the place it branched off into two tunnels. a boy lay hurt on the floor and Marie rushed over. She bent down, "Hey." she said ligtly touching him on the shoulder to get his attention. When she did his aura flared. He was the source of the powerfull aura!

“Hm!?” He made his noise (lol) as he heard splashing, and stuff. “What?” He spoke to himself once more as he followed the noises. He wrinkled his nose in disgust. “Gross. However, looks like someone may need some help.” He shrugged to himself and leaped in. After navigating his way through (he could of sword he heard splashing from an adjacent corridor) he found a girl bent over someone lying on the ground. As he got a closer look, he cursed. “S***! Yo, Girly! What happened here?” He half-yelled, half-shouted as he sprinted over. He took a look at the boy’s face. He had a terrible cut. “I summon White Magician Pikeru!” A loli-like girl appeared, and looked at the boy with concern. “Mind if you heal him?” Pikeru shook her head, and waved her wand. All Rhykotsu could do was watch and hope Pikeru’s magic would work. (I forgot to mention that Rhykotsu was a Psychic Duelist. Sorry! X.x. But he has perfect control over it, so yeah.)

Ryan slowly opened his eyes and sat up. "Where is Lucas?" Ryan looked around the room trying to find him but all that was there was a girl and a guy. Ryan slowly rose to his feet when he noticed White Magician Pikeru. "Wow, a physical dulest, it's an.." the pain became much stronger and he fell over again. "So, did eather of you see a guy with a mechine dragon deck come by here." Ryan reached over to his dule disk and pulled out his deck, he stared down into his deck wondering how his friend could change in just a matter of minnutes.

[Auralady]

Marie shook her head and looked at the new boy and White Magician Pikeru. His aura was just as strong as the injured boy's. And then he summoned a Duel Monster out of a duel., she thought. She reached down and tried to carefully help the injured boy up, "Sorry. But I haven't seen anybody other then you two down here. What are you doing down here anyway? I'm Marie Azki by the way.", she introduced herself. She swiftly glanced down at her shadow. Good, she thought, It's still normal for now. then she looked from the boy that had just summoned White Magician Pikeru and they injured boy and back again. She shivered slightly as a dark feeling surrounding the three of them.

Ryan felt a slight shiver and stood up. "I'm Ryan Celsta, I was um," Ryan reached around his neck like people do when their lyeing and he quickly tried to change the subject. "So, have you guys ever hurd of the legendary cards hidden in the city, it just so happens that i not olny found a card or two, I found an entire deck!" Ryan divided the his deck to show Rai and Marie the cards that heled the keys to his destiny.

[Auralady]

Marie eyed the cards. what the heck is going on here?., she thought. She pulled out her deck from her Duel Disk and showed the two boys, "It just so happens I have heared the stories." She snickerd a little as she shifted through the cards auras looking for the brightest one. Then she stopped and sighed, What am I doing this the hard way for? A resounding roar eachoed through the tunnels as a huge pale white dragon appeared behind Marie. It shimmerd as if light was hitting it. It lowerd it's head and Marie petted it breifly. She turned to the boys and laughed outloud, "It just so happens that I too found one of the legendary decks. It was in an old wooden hatch under an old warehouse. This is my dragon Aura Dragon. The deck is the Aura Deck."

Rhykotsu shrugged, and began to introduce himself, "I'm Rhykotsu....er.." He awkwardly looked away, not sure how they would react to him not knowing his own last name. He decided to skip that part. "Er, Pikeru, you can return, now." His Duel Monster dissappeared in flash of rainbows, returning to his deck. "Anyways, nice find, Ryan! And I'm here because I thought I saw someone ome here...and that was you, Marie." he couldn't help but smile. "Hm?" He made this noise as he searched through Ryans half-deck. "Lucky, all i found was...none." He lied, handing Ryan back his deck.

 

"By the way, about the guy with a machine deck..." The white-haired teen grinned and said, "No offense, but how are we supposed to know his kind of deck besides from dueling him? And no, I didn't see anyone except for you two...however, I thought I heard some splashing from the other side of this corridor." Rhykotsu lightly banged on the right-hand wall. Then he stepped back and shuddered as a huge roar screamed. "Your Ace Card? Here's mine." He slapped two cards onto HIS duel-disk. "Come out, you two."

 

Two silver images appeared onto the walls before they solidified and stood. A medium-sized dragon, and a young red-head holding a long sword. "Sky-Bound immortal Jake, and Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier. My deck's called 'Luck of the Draw.' You two lucky dawgs, these two are not Legendary (which was half-true, Brionac wasn't a Legendary card. However, Jake was.) But are normal monsters." He white-lied again. Jake let his sword dissapeared and offered both Marie and Ryan handshakes. "He says, pelasure to meet you." Rhykotsu informed, stroking Brionac's neck.

Ryan ran through his deck and found the five most powerful cards. "I'm not a physical dulest but i can at least show what my cards look like." Ryan played 4 ards on his duel disk and four dragons appeared. The first was Sapphire Gem Dragon, Ruby Gem Dragon, Emerald Gem Dragon, and Crystal Gem Dragon. Then Ryan took antoher card from his deck, it was Polmerisation. "And for the main event Majestic Gem Dragon!" Ryan played the card and the four dragons fused into an a dragon made of all sorts of rare gems. "What do you think?" Ryan asked with a smile.

[Auralady]

Marie looked up at the dragon. She thought it was beautiful, though she knew that it was most likely also very powerful. “Wow. It’s amazing. Do you have to have the others on your field at the same time to summon it? And can you fuse two of the other dragons together to form another?” She was so curious about Ryan and his deck and Rhy and his deck that an idea occurred to her. “Hey. Why not have a quick duel? Get a chance to see how we duel and see what our dragons are like against each other.” She was itching for a duel. She hadn’t dueled for fun in a long time.

"Sounds like fun, I'll duel." Ryan activated his duel disk and inserted his deck. "So how do you guys want to do this, three way or winner play the odd man out, I know," Ryan took a coin from his pocket. "If it's heads well do a three way duel but if it's tails we will play odd man out plays winner." Ryan threw the coin in the air and it lands on heads. "Well then I guess itell be a three way, lets start." Ryan drew his hand. "I summon Emerald Panther, in defence mode [1600/1000], it's effect is i'm allowed to see one opponets hand, so ill end my turn by setting 1 card face down and I chose to see Rai's hand."

No one has posted in a while so if no one posts by the end of the day this Rp is over.

Marie looked at the cards in her hand once she saw Rai didn't go. "Ok then. I summon Gravekeeper's Priestess [1000/1500] in attack mode!" The ancient Egyptain women appeared and stood on Marie's side of the field. She withdrew two more cards. "Now I think I'll place two cards face down and end my turn." The two facedowns appeared on her feild right beside Gravekeeper's Priestess. Marie watched and waited for one of the boys to make a move. She would have a little surprise for them once they did and Marie waited calmly for them to make a move.

Occ: I guess Power is away for awile so well have to cut him from this duel.

 

Ryan looked over at Rai who didn't seem to move but he drew his hand regardless and then smiled. "I activate the spell card gem reveal, if i give up my normal summon this turn i'm allowed to summon every gem monster in my hand, so I summon Emerald Gem Dragon [2100/2000, SE: It can't be destroyed in battle.] and Ruby Gem Dragon. [2300/2100, SE: Negates one trap card per turn.] Emerald Panther, take out Gravekeeper's Priestess, then Ruby Gem Dragon and Emerald Gem Dragon attack her directly." But as Emerald Panther a faedown came up.
