Lance is out, because literally everything on Wallace's team carries a super-effective hit on anything. Because every damn thing on Lance's team is weak to Water or Ice. Did you want to make his team suck?

 

The only thing that remotely poses a problem for Wallace is Steven's TrickGross, because it could potentially put a bulky Water out of commission. But seriously, Steven can't do a thing to Wallace except Explode with 'Gross and get 9001 critical hits with something else.

Only reason Lance sucks is cause I was trying to keep to their teams on the original games.

 

Lance was based off R/B/Y (except Garchomp), Steven from R/S/E (I took out the non-steels though) and Wallace from E (except Empoleon, Swampert and maybe Kingdra).

In terms of sheer epicness, I like HGSS Lance. Because his battle theme is epic.

 

But the hardest to beat was Steven. Because you could lolspam Ice Beam for Lance and lolspam Thunderbolt and some Grass thing for Wallace, but you couldn't really spam much for Steven.

I lolspammed Flamethrower. He was gone in a minute.

 

You do realize he has an Armaldo, a Cradily, an Aggron and a Claydol, right?

 

And I doubt they'd be OHKO'd by a Flamethrower. Maybe his Skarm and 'Gross, sure. But not those guys.

 

Unless you had an awfully overpowered Blaziken or Groudon. Then I lied, you can lolspam that.

Hell' date=' if he had a nicely EVd Walrein, he could set up and stall out two Pokemon. Walrein is a b[b'][/b]itch to take down, even with a strong Fighting move.

This is probably the best Abomasnow set. I aim to use the permahail to abuse Froslass' Snow Cloak. And oh boy, do I.

Bring in a BPing Scizor? TW it, switch to Walrein. Strong Steel type with Leftovers? Go to Mamoswine and EQ it. They try setting up in your face with Gyra, Gliscor or something like that? Well then lol, because they have no idea about your Blizzard.

 

Though Destiny Bond is real fun with Froslass in UU. <3

Tbqh, Froslass shouldn't be BL. She's fine in UU, really. She doesn't need to be partially banned from a tier she does decent in, and she really can't hold her own in OU since the leads own her (Bullet Punch Metagross, Taunt Aero, ScarfRachi) and she isn't a viable special attacker.

 

I'm confused as to why Honchkrow is in BL but not Houndoom. I haven't used Houndoom much, but it seems to do a lot of damage to everything in UU, but it isn't a metagame breaker. Then again, neither is Honchkrow, except for its mixed attacking goodness.

Froslass as a lead is bad in OU, but she does great on my Hail team, and has already caused three rage quits today.

 

I'm nearly in the top 50 on Shoddy CRE-wise, so this isn't scrubs I'm up against either.
