Hello, worthless trainer. Since you are here, I take it you want to take the Indigo League challenge? Haha, you've got some guts. Well then, prepare for the most difficult Pokemon League Challenge you will ever take in your life!

This club is kinda like an RPG kinda thing. It will still be a club but it will be a game at the same time. You will choose a starter, and go on a 'journey'. There will be 13 Gyms, the E4 and the Champion. The Gym Leaders and E4 will have Pokemon pertaining to a certain type, while the Champion will have diversity. This is going to be really hard to set up, so all help is appreciated. I will need 13 Gym Leaders, all who have different types. I will also need 4 E4 members with different types. No type should repeat. I'm going to be the Champion, so I will have a diverse team.

Too start off, you will need to choose a starter; Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Treeko, Torchic, Mudkip, Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup. It will be Lv5. You will then go out and catch more Pokemon while training your Starter and the Pokemon you catch. Legendaries are off limits to everyone except the E4, and the E4 can only have 1 Legendary. That Legendary must be the same type as the rest of the E4 member's Pokemon.

The Gym Leaders and E4 will be handpicked by me. Battles will take place on Shoddy, or WiFi if you have it. I will most likely use Shoddy. The Level Range for the Pokemon will be posted in the spoiler below.
You start off with 3000 Poke. Regardless the Pokemon, you get 25 Poke per Pokemon you defeat. You get 1/16 the Poke of a Trainer you defeat, rounded of course. There are no cents in Pokemon.

How we catch Pokemon and train is still being determined, but for now, go ahead and choose your starter. Until we come up with a way to Catch/Train our Pokemon, we can just have a discussion on Pokemon itself.

Basically, this will almost be a Role Play. You'll post saying what moves your Pokemon used, what the wild Pokemon's reaction is, what it uses, and if you catch it or not.
All YCM Rules.

Your Pokemon must keep within their movesets. No crap like Charizard using Spacial Rend.

You cannot find a Shiny every single time you find a Pokemon. You can only catch a Shiny if the Pokemon listed in the Currently Available Wild Pokemon List has a SHINY tag in front of it's name. Nor can you find bullshit like Garchomp. You cannot capture Pokemon that are not in the Currently Available Wild Pokemon List.

Also, you cannot OHKO everything and find Pokemon at bullshit levels. You must stay within the Currently Available Wild Pokemon List.
As you can see, there is a list for available wild Pokemon in the first post. Those are the only Pokemon you can find at the current time. It says the level they're found at, the experience given and whether they can be found Shiny. You have the option of making the Pokemon faint or catching it. If you make it faint, you gain experience according to it's level. If you catch it, it is added to your team. If you catch more than 6 Pokemon, you get a PC box. You are responsible for this PC box. Now, let's look to see how the battle system would work. I will use Clair's Charmander as an example.

A wild Ralts appeared!

Go! Charmander!

Charmander: Lv5

HP: 17/17

Attacks: Scratch, Growl

Ralts: Lv6

HP: 18/18

Attacks: Growl, Confusion

Charmander used Scratch! It dealt 4 damage. (Ralts HP: 14)

Ralts used Growl! Charmander's attack was lowered 1 stage.

Charmander used Scratch! It dealt 3 damage. (Ralts HP: 11)

Ralts used Confusion! It dealt 6 damage. (Charmander HP: 11)

Charmander used Scratch! It dealt 3 damage. (Ralts HP: 8)

Ralts used Growl! Charmander's attack was lowered 1 stage.

Clair used a Poke Ball! Wild Ralts was caught! Would you like to give a nickname to the captured Ralts?

If the wild Pokemon is Shiny, you would put 'Shiny' in front of it's name. If the Ralts had been defeated, you would say: Wild Ralts fainted! Charmander gained - exp. points!

And that's how the battle system works.

^Put the min as 1 and max as 8192. If the result is 1 or 8192, the wild Pokemon is shiny.

Have fun, and if you have any recommendations, feel free to share them. :3

Edit: Dark has notified me that we need a way to work IVs and EVs. Anyone got any ideas?

I was thinking we could have some 'special machine' that lets you modify them, but that would be bullshit in a sense. :/

Accepted.

I suppose the Smogon one.

But right now I'm still trying to figure out how to train Pokemon. I might just set certain Exp. Points for each level and every time you defeat a wild Pokemon you gain a certain amount.

For example, if you are Lv50, you would need 5000 exp. You defeat a Lv26 wild Swellow, you would get 950 exp. But that's just an example.

It is. This is really hard cause I'm trying to make it so everything isn't bullshit. D:

The IV/EV problem I think I solved with the machine thing.

But Shiny Pokemon and Experience are what I need to work on.

Edit: Enrise, you haz to pick one. D: But you're accepted.

Cyndaquil for Typhlosion.

Do we need Shiny's as of right now? You could alwaysadd them later' date=' but right now, they aren't needed.

[/quote']

Eh, true. Guess I just have to work on experience then.
