Max ran home going over to get his Lightsworn deck.

He ran into his room and a lot of shadows appeared.

Max was afraid.

I voice said "Take these cards".

Max looked at the cards.

There were Destiny Hero monsters.

The the shadows said "Take this card".

It was, Max couldn't believe it.

He knew he couldn't use it.

Max looked at all the cards he had.

Lightsworns, Zombies, Destiny Hero's and Yubel.

Max decided to keep the Lightsworns and use the other decks for some other times.

Max ran out of the shop not knowing what to do and why the strange shadows where in his house.

And Thetis quickly slipped away from Shinigami. She could sense something. Itsu would have to wait. She sensed something wrong. Something just as powerful as the Master, no, two things just as powerful, possibly more, she could sense them, whatever they were. They were on a level with Horakhty. Could such beings be so strong? She sensed a small disturbance, but it would take a while for it to be of any influence, but she could sense it. "Haha...I will just have to wait and see..." She muttered before slipping back to Itsu's duel, this time picking a different spot where she couldn't be seen by Shinigami.

Shinigami ran to Jenna.

"Nice duel! You played really well!"

He gave her a friendly smile.

"You should go home and check to see if you've got an invite to this tournament!

It looks like this:"

He held it out, it was simple but elogant, cream paper with gold writing. It read:

 

Dear Shinigami Kuura,

You have been invited to the National Turbo Dueling Championship, get your duel runner ready. It will be happening this weekend at the Turbo Duel Arena. Good luck!

"Thanks," Jenna said, allowing a small grin. She had to admit she had gotten lucky in drawing her Tuner at that time, as she had been saving Aztekipede as long as she could so she could bring out a Synchro at a moment's notice. Max had been a pretty good opponent, forcing her to readjust her strategy and countering her breakthroughs.

 

She peered over at the invite and nodded. "All right, guess I'll see if I got one," she said. "I just wanted to see the end of this duel. I'm surprised it's still going on," she added, pointing at Chris and Itsu's duel.

Max saw a postman walking past.

The postman came over to Max and said "I have a letter for you".

Max was surprised as he never got letters.

Max opened up the letter and it said

"Dear Max Taro,

You have been invited to the National Turbo Dueling Championship, get your duel runner ready. It will be happening this weekend at the Turbo Duel Arena. Good luck!"

Max was wondering what this was when he remember what Shinigami said that he got one of these.

Max thought "I don't have a duel runner, how will I be able to duel then"?

Max then looked through his cards.

"Hmmm Ill try and use Lightsworns more times, but I want to test out the Destiny Hero's.

Max took out his Destiny Hero's, "Should I use these"?

Max walked over and saw Shinigami.

"Hey I got one of these invitations, but I don't have a duel runner.

Where can I get one?"

Thetis saw a postman give a girl a letter. Thetis also noticed some others were getting letters as well. She slipped around and knocked the girl unconscious by hitting her memory and her conscious brain spot. She wouldn't remember anything of the past few minutes. Thetis looked at the letter. 'Dear Myani Doras,

You have been invited to the National Turbo Dueling Championship, get your duel runner ready. It will be happening this weekend at the Turbo Duel Arena. Good luck!'

Thetis took an eraser and expertly changed 'Myani Doras' to her own name. She then slipped away again. "I've never realized that feminine reflexes are better than men's...." She muttered.

[Kyosuke Kiryu]

"Uhh, I guess you'll have to go to a Turbo Duel Dealer... I thought that would've been quite obvious.."

Shinigami was puzzled at how max hadn't heard of one of them before.

"I luckily have my own duel runner, have you ever turbo dueled before?"

He reached into his pocket and pulled out his Turbo Dueling Deck.

"Speed Spells... It's been a long time since I used these.."

A black and white-armored version of the legendary Yusei Fudo's ultimate card charged at Chris, lowering his Life Points to 0 and knocking him unconscious.

This monster can only be Synchro Summoned by the above Synchro-Material Monsters. If one of the Synchro-Material Monsters was "Malefic Stardust Dragon", this monster gains the following effects:

• Once per turn, during your Battle Phase, you may reveal the top 5 cards of your Deck, then shuffle your Deck. During this turn's Battle Phase, this card can attack once for each "Malefic" monster revealed this way.

• Negate the activation of a Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect Monster's effect that destroys a card(s) on the field, and destroy that card.

• When your opponent's monster declares an attack, you can remove from play this card to negate the attack. If this card is removed from play in this way, Special Summon this removed from play card during the End Phase.

 

Itsu walked away, smiling, as she tried to find the others, when she received a letter, which she opened, finding an invatation to a tournament. She thought to herself.

Jenna whistled appreciatively. That had been a duel ending she hadn't expected. However, now wasn't the best time to stand around. Her curiosity had been awakened regarding the invitations that Shinigami had mentioned, and with nothing distracting her, she headed down the streets to where she lived. The wind blew her hair and she sighed pleasantly, taking in the aromas spreading throughout the noon day. The morning had some of the best smells of the day, with the fresh dew grass and the insects and birds chirping, yet she sometimes forgot how nice the city itself could be.

 

The mail had definitely arrived since she had left, which was a surprise in itself. It normally came later in the day, but she didn't mind. Snatching up the letter that looked official, Jenna's eyes scanned the first line before discarding the warning of the library fines her mother had somehow accumulated on her card. She would need to have a talk with her later.

 

She eventually located the invitation letter and looked up in thought. How had anyone even known that she was occasionally a Turbo Duelist, much less good enough to be invited to the National Championships?

After seeing an opportunity, Thetis walked as casually and normally as possible, while still going fast, towards Itsu. It seemed Itsu had gotten the same letter, as Thetis had seen. Thetis decided to address Itsu. "Yo, Itsu, how's it going? I see you got the same letter as I." She said, showing around her letter. "If you don't know who I am, then that's too bad. If you do, good. But I'll give you a few clues either way as to who I am. Who was the one who was traveling around the universes a thousand years before you? And who was the one chewed up into a million pieces by your stupid Malefic Solace Dragon, but survived and lived to repair his body in a day? I hope you know the answer, Itsu Solace. Or should I call you by your old name, Izumi Fudo?"

Itsu was a bit shocked at this woman who knew her old name. Well, half of her old name. She obviously remembered Izzy, but she didn't know who Itsu's other half was.

"How do you know that name? I don't remember you at all, especially during the Paradox War. And my dragon consumed many innocents, but none of them survived, thanks to my creature's unique way of feeding. She doesn't just bite into them, she consumes them and makes them part of her."

Max saw his manager with a big box.

Not huge but it was big enough.

Max saw his manager looking at him.

His manager shouted

"Come over here"

Max ran over and asked

"Whats going on"

The manager replied

"Well since I heard your entering a Turbo Duel competition, I got this for your".

Max opened the box and saw a D-Runner inside.

There was also a helmet, speed spells and a new gold shiny duel disk.

"Thanks a lot" Max said as he went outside to try out his new duel runner.

"Itsu, Itsu, Itsu....I had to rearrange my entire body structure to survive in that dragon of yours, and keep molding my skeleton until it was impossible for me to become one with that dragon of yours. And then, when that dragon finally returned, I was able to escape, and mold my body structure again, while at the same time regenerating my body." She paused for a moment. "You don't know and will never know how that dragon does its stuff. It haunts my every dream and daydream to this day. It took as much willpower there was inside of me to fight off it's influence, and as much psychical power to mold my own body structure.

"Don't you know, Itsu? I am a part of a crippled man whose soul has been torn into a million pieces by a black hole, only to be sent across the entire multiverse. It's a miracle every part of me regains his or her memory. But, my name is now Thetis, fusion of part of his soul and of some other person."

Itsu's eyes then lit up. "OHH!!! So you're a Prothean! Once again, I am incredibly sorry for splitting your original form into all of these pieces. One of my secondary goals in each universe I visit is to help out the local Prothean, though almost all of the time they find me first, like what you did." Itsu then started to chuckle. "I really didn't recognize you for what you were at first. The fact that this is a female host threw me off there!"

"I draw, now Chaos Lightsworn Dragon, finish off your opponent".

His opponent life points reduced to 0 and it was another turbo duel victory for Max.

Max was riding on a bridge when some gangsters started hitting his duel runner.

Max was afraid and then his duel runner slipped and he fell into the water.

Max was trying to get out when he saw a box. He took the box and swam back to the bridge and got on his duel runner.

He opened the box and there....there was Judgment Dragon.

Max was so surprised.

Max rode back to the park and shouted

"Anyone want to duel"?

Shinigami sat in his room, staring at his Helmet. A golden Infinity symbol gleamed on top of it. He polished it off and grinned. He placed his riding suit on and put the helmet over his face. He began to walk downstairs in his appartment towards where he held his duel runner. Under his helmet his usual smile and gentle nature changed into a snarl and he filled with rage, people weren't only going to lose Life Points.

 

The Trials are coming...

"Err, right, but there's no 'host' or 'visitor' here. Let's just say this, the host's soul and the visitor's soul fused. I did say 'fusion of part of his soul and of some other person', in case you didn't notice, Itsu. But then again, you probably didn't. You're probably just as dumb as Damian." She paused for a moment. "And I highly doubt you help any of him, me, Protheus, the visitor, me....confusing. But yes, as I just said, that's it, Itsu. And besides, what were you saying again? Something about an invitation...?"

 

The next day.....

Thetis simply sat on her bed. Part of her wanted to wear some attractive clothes while the other part wanted her to wear some professional clothes. And she sat in a daze for a while before deciding to wear attractive AND professional clothes. She ended up wearing a black business coat and a black miniskirt. Weirdest of combinations. She muttered. She then skipped down to the garage to fetch her D-Wheel. Either way, I sense something extremely odd. I wonder if Itsu knows that too? I'll ask her about it later.

"Yah, I got this invitat- WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!?" Itsu socked Thetis in the cheek. "My husband isn't dumb! And why are you insulting me like that?!? The other Protheans weren't this mean. Well, not this blantantly mean, but they did have some nasty sides to them. Besides, after relative millennia of doing this job, I'm still trying to understand how things work, but THAT'S IRRELEVENT!!!" Itsu prepared to fight, unsure of how exactly this would turn out.

And back the day before.....

"Well, unlike you, I've spent the past six millennia going around dimensions, destroying them, but I only managed to destroy five. But I did learn something. There are people out there, watching our every move. They aren't any god, they are just normal people. No magic, no anything. And they type on computers, making us say what we are saying. And also....no, it's too ridiculous to tell..." She then paused for a moment.

"True, I just noticed that. Blame that other girl he fused with. Her personality must have something to do with what I just said."

Itsu now was serious. "It's not silly. I met my 'creator' in an alternate universe where he and several other users of this website called 'YCM' happen to have these role-playing games that almost completely correspond with our adventures. It's kinda creepy, knowing, that, as I'm saying this sentence, he is somewhere in front of a computer typing them up, but he really is a nice guy. I mean, he isn't exactly the most attractive person, but he does have a good heart, and I respect that."

Have you met your creator? I bet he's pretty awesome! Maybe he knows my creator, because my creator said that he knew a few other users of that website in real life."

Protheus sighed in relief.

((Oh, and there's no magic involved in this. I'm typing on an ordinary computer.))

"And that was what happened. I still don't understand who that guy was."

"Well, I meant his real life, because our reality is what he considers fiction." Itsu corrected herself. "And I bet you haven't actually dueled your creator. And BEAT him! I did. Well, he was trapped in an alterate reality where he had assumed the title of a Jack Atlas-like character, and was a hermaphrodite for reasons that both of us don't truly understand..."

Malefic Red-Eyes Black Dragon, Malefic Red Dragon Archfiend, Malefic Black Rose Dragon, Malefic Ancient Fairy Dragon, and Malefic Black-Winged Dragon were baring down on Seiyu and Danielle, and their Signer Dragons, Stardust Dragon and Red Dragon Archfiend, respectively.

"So, if I created you, how could you have gotten us to this point?" Danielle asked.

"Because you apparently made me too well!" Itsu maliciously grinned as she ordered her monsters to attack. "And now, I activate Malefic Pulse!"

 

Malefic Surge

Trap/Normal

Activate only during your Battle Phase. When a "Malefic" monster attacks during this Battle Phase, your opponent cannot activate Spell and Trap cards in response. Also, "Malefic" monsters cannot be destroyed as a result of battle with a monster with the same ATK.

 

A pulse of energy blasted at Danielle and Seiyu's Trap Cards as a silver glow surrounded Itsu's monsters.

"With the effect of my Malefic Pulse, I will now attack you two!"

The Malefic monsters battled their normal counterparts, destroying them as the remaining Malefic Signer Dragons obliterated the rest of Seiyu and Danielle's Life Points.

 

 

"And that's how I defeated my creator!" Itsu triumphantly finished her story, complete with Rukia-style sketches to accompany her tale.

"I also remember another time I met him, but he just made me run off a cliff, and wasn't worried in the least because I was immortal back then...."

A man wearing an Akatsuki cloak appeared in front of Protheus. The man had spiky yellow hair and blue eyes. He also wore a conical straw hat.

"Hello." He said.

"Oh don't tell me, you're that voice from before."

"That was a friend, this is me."

"Ah."

"But it's not my true form."

"Oh."

"By the way, you're gonna be a minor character, with no direct influence to any plot whatsoever."

"Uh...."

"I'm gonna kill you off a sixth time in a millennia or so."

"Eh?"

"I'm serious."

"Ih....."

"You can stop saying A-O-U-E-I now. By the way, I am your creator."

"Very funny."

"I'm serious."

"I'm going to destroy you now."

"Ha! I could kill you off any day of the week. And just for the lulz, I'm going to make you jump off a cliff right now."

"As if I'd eve-"

And just as suddenly, Protheus began running away to the nearest cliff. He was running towards the cliff, against his will, because it was typed so. He then fell down the cliff. And hit the ground, but still alive since he was immortal. The Master was not happy with this idiotic move.

 

 

"I tell you, we're only inside one dimension. But this dimension, along with a million other dimensions, is in yet another dimension. Think of this dimension as a box, with lots of others boxes, which are all in an even bigger box. And this even bigger box is surrounded by boxes just as big as it, all filled with more boxes, and these bigger boxes....they are all inside an even bigger box! Surrounded by just as big boxes! Which are all inside an even bigger box! And so on. Even this 'real life' thing is just one box, maybe big, but still a box like any other. What lies outside the very last box is unknown even to God Almighty himself."

Itsu sighed. "Well, it's not exactly like that. I envision the multiverse as like a giant bundle of fiberoptic cable, with each tiny little strand a universe. Then, the cable we're in, the Duel Monsters multiverse, as surrounded by hundreds of thousands of other bundles of fiberoptic cable, which are other multiverses. And the cycle just continues. I use this because you can go up and down the cable, as well as from one strand to the next. But, very rarely, can you bridge the gap from one multiverse to another. Trust me. It's hard."

"From one multiverse to another........impossible. You would have to be as strong as Horakhty to do that. Unless you're willing to go a quadrillions light-years, which is distance by the way, in a spacepod, of course. But even I have a sanity limit." He said.

"But really, cables? I for one think boxes are more appropriate. Because every universe is like a...well....box......really. All this fourth wall is making me tired. Really. But I still think that cable idea of yours is dumb. Ha, I mean really.....cables.....ha.....Hahahaha, cables....."
