evilfusion
((You know, duels are the EASIEST time in a Yugioh RP to add detail and not be breaking the 4-line rule. Also, your LP is 3500. 1900-1400=500.)) Jenna nodded. "I thought that's the type of deck you were running. Due to my Spider Web, Insect Knight is switched to defense, and can't switch its battle mode until after my next turn." Strands of webbing coiled around the knight's arms and legs, forcing it to take a knee in a defensive stance. (DEF: 1500) Jenna paused and shifted her other monster from a vertical postion to a horizontal one, the hologram of her other insect shifting to a defensive stance much like the knight's. Kyosuke Kiryu
Shinigami walked back up to where Jenna and Max were dueling. It put a smile on his face to know they were still there."Hey! Guys! Who's winning?"In his hand he held an invite to the National Turbo Dueling championship. He waved it in the air. "Have any of you got one of these?" he yelled. He hoped they would as he would know someone there.
evilfusion
Jenna stared at the odd monster, noting that the humanoid fiend had transformed instead into a monstrous creature. She was admittedly a little surprised by the tactic Max had used, but was well prepared for the Incarnate's ability. "I activate my trap!" she said, and one of her facedown cards flipped up, the image of the card displaying a dragon silhouette. "Starlight Road! This trap can only be used if two or more of my cards are about to be destroyed by an effect! It negates that effect and destroys the source!" A silver film of light expanded from the card, making to contract around the draconic creature on Max's field. Almost as an afterthought, Jenna added. Guest TheFinalFan
Itsu revealed her face-down as Chris Special Summoned. "I activate Malefic Limiter." Malefic LimiterTrap/ContinuousDuring your End Phase, if you don't control a face-up "Malefic" monster, destroy this card. Neither player can Special Summon monsters, except "Malefic" monsters. A yin-yang symbol formed on the stone circle that Itsu and Chris were dueling in, but it was Mafeficized to have black lines in the white area and white lines in the black area. The white section was where Itsu was, with her standding in the black circle, whereas the opposite was true for Chris."I allowed you to fall into a false sense of security, but your entire deck, from what I can gander, is most likely locked. Anything else? It's still your turn."
Guest Merciful Idiot
It's been a little while since Thetis was created. She wandered along clueless. She had to think ahead. It would only be a few more hours before her mother, no, her host's mother, no....well, before she begins looking for her dear Aria. Thetis was an unstable being, more or less. Thousands of years, compressed into a 17 year old body who also happens to be at the bottom of her class. It's a miracle the brain could withstand 5000 years worth of memory and knowledge. The downside was that she was unstable, while the other side is that she suddenly went to the top of her class. Either way, she had been searching for someone called Itsu for a while. It had been difficult, but she had finally found some clues, and soon, she found her, with some other person, and they were dueling, typical. Thetis hid herself from them and watched. She watched as Itsu activated a Malefic card. She still has those forsaken and damned cards? She thought to herself.
evilfusion
Jenna glanced over at Shinigami, surprised by his reappearance. "Oh hey," she said, with a small smile. "Uh...it's pretty even still, I'd say," she told him, referring to who was winning. She was ahead by 500 LP, but there was no telling how long that would last. Her gaze focused on the invitation in his hand. "Uh...no, I haven't had the time to check my mail," she admitted. Nor had she even known that there WAS a National Turbo Dueling Championship coming up, much less know why she would have been invited to it. Her attention refocused on Max, waiting to see if he was going to respond to her trap or let his Incarnate die. She knew the risk of her move, but just felt that she couldn't afford to lose the field advantage at this point.
Kyosuke Kiryu
Shinigami turned to Thetis and looked puzzled, he had never seen her before."Who are you?" He asked.Shinigami hoped that Jenna would be invited to the championship, he saw her as a really good duelist and really wanted the chance to take her on. He put his invite away, and then remembered his decks, he pulled them both out and wondered which one to use, he wasn't sure if he could risk the safety of the others by using Infernities again... Guest Merciful Idiot
Thetis was suddenly surprised. She had taken the liberty of sneaking around, and she had forgotten about her surroundings once she found Itsu. "I errr.....I'm here because...well....errrr........." evilfusion
Jenna frowned as the film of light shattered, followed by a gale of wind produced by the Incarnate. Her two monsters struggled against the wind and then shattered apart into pixels that faded away a moment later. She then drew her card. "All right, my turn!" she announced, drawing another card. She looked up at Max's field. Yubel Terror Incarnate...that was a monster that could destroy all monsters on the field but itself. Had he allowed her Starlight Road to work, he would have been able to summon the Ultimate Nightmare, but this way definitely put her into a tighter corner. "I set a monster and two cards facedown!" she announced. evilfusion
Jenna merely chuckled. She had even said she didn't have a Stardust Dragon, which would have been fortunate for him, as Road would have let him summon the Ultimate Nightmare, since the inability to summon wouldn't cause his Incarnate to miss the timing. She frowned slightly as her monster made an insect whine when the swordsman slashed it apart, appearing briefly as a large spider, and then vanished into a dimensional rift. "It was Ground Spider, which isn't a Flip Effect," she informed him. She did nothing as he summoned the dark warrior, only moving to shield herself from his monster's blow with her Disk. evilfusion
Jenna frowned as her trap shattered, the eerie smoke fading away. The monsters that had begun to take a defensive stance straightened, and the horse-zombie raised its blade to strike her monster. "It won't be that easy," she warned him with a smile. "I activate Book of Moon on my Spider, flipping it to Defense and protecting me from damage!" The spider curled into a defensive ball moments before the strike, repelling the blow without a scratch. "And you take 100 points of damage," Jenna added with a faint smile. However, the Terror Incarnate roared and a gale of wind swiftly shattered apart the monsters on the field. Jenna merely nodded, a little displeased her strategy had backfired on her, but she wasn't too worried yet. The duel was still going. "It's my turn!" she announced, drawing with vigor. Her gaze flicked to the card she drew, and a wide smile crossed her face. "You should have saved your trap card," she told him with a grin. "First, I remove my Informer Spider from the graveyard. This allows me to Special Summon my Aztekipede, the Worm Warrior!" she said, slapping the card onto her disk. A large centipede monster materialized, hissing at the Terror Incarnate. (Lvl 4, ATK: 1900) "And now..." Jenna continued, placing her drawn card onto her disk. "I summon the Tuner monster, Infernity Beetle!" A smaller insect appeared beside the centipede, fluttering its wings. (Lvl 2, ATK: 1200, DEF: 0) "As an added bonus, since I have no cards in my hand, I can send this Beetle to the graveyard, and unleash the two in my deck!" Jenna said, her first beetle splitting into two identical copies. "I tune my Level 2 Infernity Beetle with my Level 4 Aztekipede!" Jenna said. The Beetle flew into the air, transforming into two green rings, the Worm Warrior joining it and transforming into four white stars, which passed into the rings. "I Synchro Summon: Underground Arachnid!" Jenna called out, slapping the white Synchro card onto her disk. The ground rumbled and a large female being appeared, the lower half of its body that of a spider. It hissed threateningly at Max's monster. (Level 6, ATK: 2400 DEF: 1200) "Now I activate her special ability. Once per turn, I can take a monster on your field and equip it to her," Jenna said.
