Haaris had wondered himself into the park to find Larson the bully had been dueling little kids and taking there decks. Haaris built up enough confidence to push Larson, his confidence only lasted about a minute until he was pushed on to the ground.

 

"Your going to regret that Larson..." Haaris muttered, as he dusted off his shoulders and stood back up.

 

"Really? What are you going to do?" The bully taunted. Haaris pulled his duel disk out of his bag and gestured for a duel.

 

*Several Turns later*

 

Larson: 4000

Haaris: 100

 

"Haha, you little punk you haven't even touched my life points with those Crystal Beasts of yours." Larson gloated.

 

"Keep laughing, that was your last turn. Well it's my turn now. I send my Amber Mammoth, Topaz Tiger, and Cobalt Eagle from my spell and trap card zone to the graveyard!" Haaris began

 

"What's he up to?" Larson thought

 

"When justice cease to exist a storm shall begin, Bring Judgment! I Special Summon "Hamon, Lord Of Striking Thunder!!!" Haaris exclaimed as a large yellow demon almost three stories high appeared behind him.

 

"Wha-What is t-that?" Larson exclaimed.

 

"This? This is Judgment. I activate Lightning Vortex to destroy all monsters on your field. Now Hamon, Judgment Storm!!!"

"I'm f-fine."

He got to his feet infront of Jenna.

 

"I'm Shinigami, who are you?"

He noticed Itsu nearby and glanced towards him.

 

"Do you know him?"

"Shinigami?" Jenna repeated slowly. A rather unusual name. In fact, she had never heard of anyone's actual name, a nickname at most, being that. She followed his gaze and nodded. "Uh, yeah, I sort of know her," she said, placing a gentle emphasis on the gender pronoun. Maybe this guy was a little disoriented and didn't immediately spot the blatant cues, but she was not one to mock such mistakes.

 

"I'm Jenna," she continued, sparing a small smile.

"It means Death God.."

His face changing to an awkward state.

"Anyways, Jenna, do you play duel monsters/yugioh?"

As he said this he pointed to his cards.

 

He wasn't trying to duel her, he was still drained from his last duel.

"Yeah, I play," Jenna replied, patting the deck box strapped to her belt. It seemed that most people tended to play Duel Monsters, whether casually or professional, or some level in between. What perplexed her was both his facial expression and tone. Unlike most people who asked a question to that effect, it didn't seem to be a challenge of any sort, and his peculiar expression...well, that just didn't make much sense. She imagined he asked simply to explain the cards he had dropped.

 

It took a moment for the strangeness of his name's translation to sink in. Why would someone be named "Death God" as their actual name?

 

"Why do you ask?" she inquired curiously.

"Hmm..." Itsu wondered. "Would you happen to be related to Kalin Kassler, also known as Kyosuke Kiryu in about 47 other timelines? Shinigami is a common name for his descendants, since he was nicknamed that early on in his career."

Something then clicked into her head.

"By the way, could you please tell me what date today is? Anno Domini would be helpful, though if you do not know that, at least give me a common date before 2043 AD."

Chris was all alone in his house, with nothing to do or eat. He parents had left for a business trip, which they weren’t expected to come back from until next week. They left Chris at home to help him work on his school work and other things he needed to work on. Chris was bored out of his mind, like usual when his parents leave him at home alone, so decided to leave his room and go outside into the city. He walked around for a while until he saw a group of people. He decided to walk over and talk to them. “Hello guys. I’m Chris, and you are?”

"Yes, I am related to Kyosuke Kiryu.

His deck was passed down though generations of my family and now I sits in my hands.

Except, as time has progressed, new cards have been released, I have updated the deck."

 

He held out his deck. Showing them 2 of the newer cards.

The latter of the 2 was a Dark Synchro.

 

 

"Yeah... I should probably go.."

Jenna peered at the two cards with interest. One of them seemed to be a high level monster she had never seen before, and the other...was a card with a black border, blue stars printed on the left side of the card instead of the right. Shinigami didn't hold them out so long for her to get a long look at the cards.

 

"That's interesting," she said, herself not entirely sure what she was referring to. She blinked in mild surprise as yet another person approached, identifying himself as Chris. Not one to be impolite, she promptly smiled at the arrival. "Hi, I'm Jenna."

“Hello Jenna,” Chris responded as he looked at Shinigami’s cards. He was intrigued by the Dark Synchro monster. It seemed to have a great effect, but Chris couldn’t make out the text on the card.

 

After looking at Shingami’s cards, Chris looked as his own deck, and then he began to talk to Jenna. “So Jenna, how about a duel,” Chris asked as he loaded his deck into his duel disk, ready for a possible challenge.

Jenna considered the offer for a grand total of five seconds. "Sure, why not?" she said. She removed her backpack from her back and from within a pocket, withdrew a duel disk of her own and slid it onto her left arm. She normally carried a backpack when going out to observe insects, and so the other pockets had field guides and notebooks where she took notes when her usual notepad was too small to contain the information she wanted to write down. She reached down to the deckbox at her right hip and, in one fluid motion, slipped the deck into the deckslot.

 

As she did so, she took a few paces to the left of the others, creating plenty of room between herself and the others. She smiled cheerfully. "I'll let you start," she said, flicking five cards from the top of her deck to her hand and fanning them out before her.

Shinigami decided to stay and watch the duel unfold.

Maybe he would get a chance at one of them next.

Anxious to know he asked;

"So, what type of decks do you guys run?"

Max walks over and sees Chris and Jenna duel. "Should be an interesting duel" Max thinks to him self. He also sees someone watching them duel. "I remember him" said Max to himself, "its Shinigami, the guy who was at my shop a few times". Max sais to Shinigami "Wanna duel?"

Shinigami turned.

"Who, me?

 

Sure."

 

He prepared his duel disk for action.

"Are you going to go first or will I?"

"Alright.."

 

He drew from his deck.

 

"I summon Dark Grepher! Now I activate his effect, I send my Infernity Archfiend from my hand to the graveyard and so I can send an Infernity Necromancer from my deck to the graveyard. Now I activate Foolish Burial so I send my Infernity Beetle from my deck to the graveyard!"

 

He set 3 facedown Spells and Traps and ended.

 

"Go on."

"Your going down" Max said.

 

First I will activate Cold Wave.

Now I can summon out my Jain the Lightsworn Paladin.

Now take out his Dark Grepher.

Which means you lose 400 Life Points.

 

Now ill end my turn and ill send the top 2 cards from my deck,

And guess who they are, Wulf and PSZ which means I get to summon out Wulf

 

Ill end my turn and now Spells or Traps for you this turn.

I summon Infernity Mirage! Now seeing as I have 0 cards in my hand I can tribute him to summon 2 Infernity monsters from my graveyard! I summon Infernity Beetle and Infernity Necromancer! Now I activate Infernity Necromancer's effect to summon Infernity Archfiend from my Graveyard! He now searches an Infernity Launcher from my deck! Now I tune all 3 monsters together to summon Mist Wurm! Now I get to return all 3 facedowns you have to your hand! Now I activate Infernity Launcher! I can special summon 2 infernity monsters from my graveyard! So it's the same process as with Mirage! Archfiend will search another Launcher so I can loop it! I synchro summon 1 more Mist Wurm to return your monsters and a Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier which gets rid of 1 card from your hand and 1 card from your graveyard! So you lose your necro gardna! And finally I summon my Infernity Creator!"

Shinigami collapsed to the floor as he yelled attack and all the monsters on his side of the field disappeared. His duel disk was going haywire! The sky returned to it's normal colour and Shinigami just lay there.

 

((Don't count anything - advancing plot, besides I could just say I had 2 facedown Infernity Barrier))

"Eh? What the hell?" Jenna blinked and looked upwards when the sky had changed color. The only explanation that she could think of was a storm was coming. Her attention for the last minute had been on the other duel, and a storm approaching after such a nice morning was sure to dampen her day. She squinted at the sky, trying to discern whether storm clouds really were approaching, when the dark color disappeared as if it had never existed.

 

Perplexed, she looked around and spotted the Infernity user on the ground. She blinked several times, trying to get a bearing on what the hell had just happened.

Shinigami began to move, his eyes slightly open. He let out a groan.

 

"Erghhhh... What.. just happened?"

 

He looked over at Max, puzzled.

 

"Who won?"

"No one Max" replied.

"It hadn't had enough ATK to wipe my Life Points. Seeing as a player couldn't finish the duel it ends in a draw. Unless.....you want to continue the duel"?

 

(Note that Its ATK was 2500 because I only had 5 cards in my hand at the time you summoned, because you removed 1 card with Trishula. Also next time we duel do not Overpower your turns.)

((Sorry didnt see that, tho the duel wasnt over cos you attacked with your Infernity monster first (I think) and then you fell down which ended as a draw...It doesnt really matter))

 

Max head started to get sore after Shinigamis Infernity Synchro attacked Max's Life Points.

Max couldint remember anything and he was confused.

He fell to the ground not knowing whats going on.
