What are the Hunger Games?]The Hunger Games are a tournament held by the Capitol of Panem.

 

There are 12 Districts, all ruled by Panem and all having their own skills. Every year, two people, a boy and a girl, between the ages of 12-18 are 'reaped', and sent to the Capitol to compete. They are split into two unofficial groups - Careers, who were trained to win, and Tributes, who were reaped unwillingly.

 

The District's Main Industries are,

 

1-Making luxury items for the Capitol

3-Automobiles, Television and Explosives

4-Fishing

6-Art

7-Lumber

8-?

9-?

10-Livestock

11-Aggriculture

12-Coal Mining

(For those marked ?, they will be regarded as Misc. Career Districts)

 

Kill, or be killed.

 

The Hunger Games is a reality TV show, with the competitors allowed to receive items sent by their 'sponsers', which arrives in a small silver box attached to a parachute.

 

After training, the Gamekeepers from the Capitol watch a preformence where a rating score from 1-11 is measured, increasing the likeability of being sponsered.

 

 

This roleplay will follow the Hunger Games.

Name - Nikki Heartstrung

District - 1

Weapon - Throwing knives

Appearance - Nikki, a stunningly attractive 14-year-old girl, has her long, dark hair held back by a velvet ribbon, where it hangs down to about her waist. She wears an oversized black coat over her green T-shirt. Her white skirt hangs down to about her knees.

Biography - Nikki never asked to be brought into the Hunger Games. But her name had been drawn, and, despite several volunteers to replace her, mainly by Careers, but she chose instead to go through with it. Nikki, copying a technique used by previous tributes, burst into tears as soon as her name was called out. Her keepsake, the one item she was allowed to bring with her into the Games, is a ring, inset with a tiny amethyst in its center.
