"So, it has now been a year since the last time I battled with Eggman? Man, its so boring here now. I guess Ill go for a run or something." Sonic says to himself. Sonic heads off to run in the fields of Green Hill. Sonic runs through loops and other various obstacles. "I wish I could destroy some badniks about now." Sonic speaks aloud.

 

Talen sits in the grass of Green Hill somewhere near were Sonic just was. "I wonder what my new friends are up to?" Talen stands up ready to look for his friends. But while getting up he notices a robot of some sorts. Talen goes up to examine the robot. "I wonder what this is."

[Daxter]

Jet is sitting on top of a mountainous cliff staring out towards the sun. "Wow, there is almost nothing to do anymore" he thought to himself. "My life has become the same thing every day, I ride my board, and win races" he thought. Then as he stood up, he yelled as loud as he could, "When will something happen!" Of course nothing did, he voice echoed for a while, but thats it. He turned towards his extreme gear..."Oh what the heck." Jet ran over and hoped on the board, he shot of down the back of the hills and raced towards anything.

"Jeez, its not even fun running anymore." Sonic says while slowing down. "I guess I'll take a nap." Sonic announces while falling onto the ground.

 

Talen pokes the mysterious machine.

 

"Beep beep beep." The robot hits Talen knocking him a few feet back.

 

"Ugh!" Talen says while getting hit and then slamming into the ground.

 

"E-200 Zero II, TARGET DESIGNATED, DESTROY!" E-200 shoots missles at Talen.

 

Talen gets up and uses his ice magic to freeze one missle, but gets hit by the other missle. "No!" Talen cries out while passing out.

 

E-200 grabs Talen and makes his way towards the area where Sonic is.

On top of a green grassy hill top, Zero and Sly were walking down a dirt road. Zero seemed quite and bored while Sly was busy yapping off. "So I told him that he won't get to the diamond before me, and he said that he'll bet his Chaos Emerald on it. I was like Chaos Emerald, what's that? And he was like you idiot, and I was just saying that so I could steal it from him, and then he decid-" Sly's story was cut off short by Zero holding onto his mouth. "Can you be quite Sly?....... You've been telling stories for an hour now....... Just shut it......... (In times like these....... I wouldn't mind being lonely........)" Zero thought to himself as they continued down the road. "So Zero, where are we heading off to now?" "It doesn't matter........ we can go wherever we please........" "Just as long as that place has something valuable to steal, hehe." "Yeah....... whatever......." They continued down the road as usual.

E-200 louldly continues towards Sonic.

 

"Huh, Whats that? Woah, is that an badnik?" Sonic says while he speeds quickly to E-200. "Who's he carrying? Wait, no time to ask questions!" Sonic says while spin dashing into E-200. Smashing in part of its front metal armor. "Woah, its pretty powerful, for one of Eggman's robots." Sonic announces.

As Zero and Sly made their way down the road, they encountered a four badniks picking on a helpless rabbit. "Aw man, that's just wrong!" Sly exclaimed as he moved towards them with quick yet silent speed and pounced on one of them, causing the badnik to fall back a couple of feet. The other badniks then turned towards the direction of Zero and Sly, taking their attention off of the rabbit who quietly slipped away and escaped. The badniks began to flash their lights in a sign showing that they're angry.

 

"So ya wanna fight do ya?! Well alright then, and afterwards I can sell you hunks of junk as scrap metal!" Sly stated confidently. The badniks charged at Sly, and two of them were grabbed by Zero and slammed together with immense force, comletely destroying them. "Hey! I was gonna sell their parts for money!" "Humph..... worry about that later......" The other two badniks charged at Sly. Sly, using his flexibility, dodged their attacks and pounced onto them. Sly then ripped out their internal CPU systems, destroying them. "Hehe, this'll fetch a couple of bucks!"

As it happened, there was another being walking down the road on which Zero and Sly were making their way. This being was a pitch black Anthropomorphic hedgehog who, quite honestly, looked like Dark Sonic, minus the white eyes. There was also the fact that, unlike Sonic, this being wore a pitch black trench coat and shoes which definitely were based off of Shadow's in their design. In his left hand, he carried a small cardboard serving container. Within said container, there was a pile of french fires which were covered in a meaty brown sauce which stank of chili peppers. Atop this sauce, was a mound of what could only be described as processed cheese. Yes, He was eating Chili Cheese Fries. It happened that he was coming from the opposite direction of Sly and Zero and the rabbit tried to make an escape past him. Tossing the chili cheese fries into the air, he grabbed said rabbit by the ears with his now free left hand. In a single fluid motion, he sent the rabbit flying off the side of the road and into a tree with enough force to shatter the trunk. He calmly caught the chili cheese fires in his once more free left hand and, opening his mouth, dumped the rest of them in and swallowed the entire serving in a single gulp. Perhaps by now Sly and Zero could see him. The hedgehog calmly turned his eyes to look at them, surrounded by the torn remains of Badniks. For now, he said nothing.

Sly and Zero turned around as they saw the rabbit making impact with a nearby tree. They looked back in front of them to see a strange hedgehog. However, Sly didn't really seem to care about anything else but to teach this hedgehog a lesson for picking on the defenseless. "HEY!!!! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING PICKING ON THAT LITTLE RABBIT???!!! ONLY COWARDS WOULD DO THAT KINDA THING!!!!" Sly yelled fiercely as he was about to charge after the hedgehog only to be stopped by Zero who was keeping his cool. "Sly..... you'll get your shot later..... right now I want to know who you are and why'd you attacked that defenseless rabbit?......" Zero asked calmly as he eyed the hedgehog intently.

Horus calmly turned his eyes, red in the irises, first to stare Sly right in the face, and then to stare Zero right in the face. His gaze remained locked on Zero and he calmly flicked a piece of metal from one of the Badniks into his right hand with the tip of the same foot. He twirled this absentmindedly in his hand as he began to speak, his voice sounding only slightly different in pitch than that of Mephiles.

 

"To answer the first question, my name is Horus...I've been called Horus the black if you want a title. As to why i would attack that little weakling...oh dear I've just gone and answered your question already. Because it is too weak to prevent me from attacking it. The weak have no purpose, other than to get in the way of the strong. I wouldn't expect you to understand that."

 

Horus yawned in boredom, covering his mouth with his right hand. He kept his gaze locked on Zero as he did this, just waiting to see what the two of them would do. Truth be told, Horus didn't even have a reason to be here right now, he wasn't going anywhere he just happened to be on the road right then.

"But its not strong enough to stop me!" Sonic says while landing a finishing spin dash on E-200.

 

E-200 explodes while releasing Talen into the air.

 

Sonic catches Talen and lays him down in the grass.

 

"Hey, wake up!" Sonic says to Talen.

 

Talen wakes up and asks, "Huh, where am I, and who are you?"

 

"Im Sonic, Sonic The Hegdehog, nice to meet you!" Sonic announces.

Sly was extremely angry towards Horus' statement. "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO ATTACK ANYBODY!!!! YOU'RE A COWARD FOR ATTACKING THOSE WHO ARE WEAKER THAN YOU!!!! I'LL ANIHHILATE YOU!!!!" Sly yelled as he once agin tried to charge after Horus, only to be stopped by Zero once again. "I told you Sly...... you need to calm down......" Zero stated. Zero then directed his attention towards Horus, staring at him with calm and almost emotionless eyes. "Horus the Dark?........ I see....... I am Zero, Zero the Wolf....... Allow me to give you a piece of advice Horus...... those who are truly weak will prey on the ones who will not strike back...... Now I suggest you leave, Horus......" Zero stated calmly.

OOC:For some reason this post didnt show up the first time.

 

"AHHHH!" Talen screams when waking up.

 

"Woah! Calm down!" Sonic yells.

 

"Oh, sorry Im still in shock from that robot." Talens says while aplologizing.

 

"Its alright." Sonic says. "Wait a sec, I think I hear people."Stay here, Ill be back!" Sonic says.

 

"But w-" Talen gets interupted while Sonic runs toward the sound. Little does Sonic know that it is Horus, Zero, and Sly fighting.

Horus let out a quiet chuckle, before he suddenly sent the jagged fragment of metal tearing through the air, at roughly twice the speed of sound, on a course that would set it to collide with Zero's face. He then turned and charged forward at speed which only Sonic or Shadow could equal. He used this charge to add still more force to the punch he threw at Sly's gut. By itself, the punch was of strength only Knuckles could equal. Combined with this charge, the force would be something close to twice the normal force. Hopefully, this punch would send the weasel flying off. Now, returning his attention to the wolf, Horus spun about to send a round-house kick flying at Zero. If the strike were to connect, Horus would then activate his rocket skates doing two things. Firstly it would obviously burn the ever-loving crap out of Zero and secondly it would add still more force to the strike. The disadvantage to this tactic was that it would put him slightly off-balance for a short time afterward.

As the metal fragment flew through the air and got closer to Zero, Zero simply stood there and as it neared his face, Zero simply held his right hand up, stopping and crushing the metal fragment. Zero then saw Horus charging at Sly with his fist. Sly, using his unrivaled flexibility, double flipped into the air and landing gently on all fours on a boulder nearby. Horus then aimed towards Zero with a roundhouse kick. Zero quickly spunned his body around and grabbed Horus' leg as it neared him. "I told you to leave......" Zero stated as he aim a punch towards Horus' stomach. Zero was infamous for his strength, and if this punch connected, it would likely break multiple ribs. However, this was just a normal warning punch Zero is attempting.

Horus the Black was also renowned for his strength. As the punch came in, he brought his now free right hand up to catch it. Allowing the force to bring his arm back slightly, he stopped the punch mere inches from his chest. A feral grin came to his face as he crushed down on Zero's fist with his hand and spun about, bringing his arm out and spinning Zero around him. He released his grip and sent Zero flying towards Sly at the same speed he had sent the metal fragment. He then stood there calmly, waiting to see how his opponents would respond. He slipped his left hand behind his back and began charging the weaker form of chaos spear known as chaos lance. This would not harm his foes, merely stun them for a short time.

As Horus stopped Zero's fist, Zero didn't seem fazed. "(Hmm, so this one is not weak either...... I see......)" Zero thought to himself. Horus then sent Zero back towards Sly at the speed of the metal fragment from earlier. As Zero headed backwards, he simply held one leg up and slammed it towards the ground, creating a hole on the surface and causing a slight shockwave to burst outwards. Sly jumped towards Zero with all four limbs and then stood back up next to him. "This guy is really asking for it isn't he?" Sly stated. Sly reached into his pocket and pulled out three black rubber balls and threw them towards Horus.

 

OOC: The balls are bombs that explodes on impact, so make a note of that.

As the balls came in at him, Horus decided to play it safe. He leapt into the air, activating his Rocket Skates to give him boost of speed. This brought him up into the air, well above where the balls had been thrown. Seeing his chance, he unleashed his Chaos Lance ability upon Sly and Zero. If the lances struck, the wolf and weasel would both be stunned and unable to move for a short time. Following this, Horus would allow himself to land easily upon the ground. He then shot forward, reaching just under the speed of sound in the short distance with the aid of his skates. As he came to Zero and Sly, he drove his hands, curled into fists, into their chests with incredible strength. The strikes themselves would likely break several ribs and possibly the sternum. The force from the strikes combined with Horus' momentum would likely send the two flying quite a long distance. Again, Horus would then stand where he was and await their next move. Should the lances miss, Horus would make his move to attack Sly. He would do this by skating rapidly in a circle around the two for a while, before launching himself in to drive his fist for the back of Sly's head.

As Horus flew up into the air, the balls made impact with the ground where he was standing, creating a medium-sized explosion and a cloud of smoke to appeared. Horus then threw his Chaos Lance towards Zero and Sly. Zero was a little surprised by this as his eyes widened a little bit. Zero then placed his feet firmly planted on the ground and let out a loud roar, causing a tremendous shockwave, clearing up the smoke and destroying the lance as headed towards them. Sly then appeared in below Horus, grabbing onto his shoe and ripping it off as he landed towards the ground. Sly had used the cloud of smoke as a distraction to get closer to Horus, afterall, he is a thief. Sly made his way back to Zero. "Hehe, this'll fetch a couple of bucks huh?" Sly stated as he threw the shoe up and down.

Tails Just got done making some special changes to the X-Tornado in his garage. He then walked out to see that Sonic had been fighting a robot. "Oh geeze, not again." Tails yelled out to Sonic but obviously didn't hear him. Tails then went back to the garage and put his tools in his tool box. Tails then flew to where Sonic was but then he noticed that Sonic was gone... Again! "This has to be the fifth time this week he's just disappeared." But Tails did notice someone he did not know. He walked up to the creature, who was just sitting in the grass looking completely baffled. "Hey," Tails said as he stuck out his arm, "I'm Miles Prower! But you can call me Tails!" Tails wanted to help the stranger. "Did Sonic leave you here?" He asked.

Leon Stared into the Green hill Zone, he had traveled far from the Scrap Brain Zone. "Tails, my brother..." he said from a far distance, "I'm coming to save you... " Leon slowly began to walk towards Tails and the people fighting. "And take you back to the city where you belong..." Leon was thinking about a lot of things and couldn't keep his mind straight, "But first i should wait..."

It was an infinitely foolish thing to think that Horus would simply allow his skate to be stolen like that. As he felt Sly grab hold of his foot, he brought his other foot up, and then sharply down with bone-shattering force onto Sly's head. Even if the kick did not knock Sly off of his foot, it would knock him unconscious. Horus maneuvered himself as he fell to ensure that Sly was beneath him and would absorb the majority of the force from the impact. He didn't want to take chances with the weasel. Once more on the ground, Horus turned to face Zero, grinding the bottoms of his skates into Sly's body. He let out a brief maniacal laugh as he looked the wolf straight in the eyes.

 

"Now, I believe that you should thank me. I know full well that YOU are strong. However...this...weasel, was merely a weakling standing in your way. Think of what you can do now without him."

Zero looked at Horus intently and shook his head in disagreement. He then pointed towards Horus' foot. A robotic Sly was under Horus foot and in its head was thirteen bombs. The real Sly jumped out from the nearby tree. "Hehe, I'm a stealthe fighter so don't think I'm stupid enough to get near you." Sly stated confidently. Zero then punched the ground with immense force, causing the ground to cover one of Horus' foot. "I hope you can get out of there....... weakling........" Zero stated as he walked near the tree to watch the events unfold.

Considering that the supposedly "Explode on Impact" bombs had not detonated upon impact with the ground, Horus really wasn't concerned about them. He simply reached down and tore the head cleanly off the robotic weasel's body and hurled it towards the tree, where it would no doubt detonate with horrific force. The next thing Horus did, was to slam his free foot into the ground. This in turn produced a massive, outwardly rushing shock wave which could easily have equaled or surpassed the same one which Zero had used to repel his Chaos Lance earlier. The ground now shattered like glass for about three meters around him, Horus calmly stepped away from the twisted remains of the robotic weasel.

 

"Well, I have to say I underestimated you two...that isn't a mistake I'll make again."

 

Horus now slammed his right fist into the ground, tearing it apart and sending a fissure shooting a jagged path straight at the tree, or rather what was left of it after the explosion, in which Sly had been hiding. He didn't expect the Weasel to be caught, he just wanted to eliminate some cover. Now, once more turning to face Zero, Horus calmly dusted off his hands and looked the wolf straight in the face. There wasn't any emotion showing at all, the Hedgehog seemed perfectly calm.

 

OOC: By the way, the robot was kind of annoying. I mean, you didn't state anywhere in the thread before that you even had it, you just pulled it out when one of your characters was threatened.

As Emeral was falling through the air, he was still activating basic protocalls. But that soon ended, as he approached the ground. It was quite clear were he was landing as it got closer. Ironic or not, he landed right between the 3 of Sly, Zero, and Horus. A shock wave was sent from the impact, as Emeral switched to offline due to the force of the impact. The imediate shut off was to prevent internal injurys to the robot. But luckily, Emeral was left in top notch condition even though the impact of the crash. His insides were still intact as well, even better then that. You could say he looked like he had just been dropped from only 3 feet off the ground. Non the less, he did suffer from a damaged paint job. A little bit of the Yellow had been removed to show grey. All this was possible from a wise and smart creator. As Emeral was imediatly shut off, all of the basic protocalls he was trying to load, failed resulting in all he was and had loaded crashing. Meaning he would have to start over when reactiveated. Non the less, he still had that, all his parts, hard drive, memorie, etc... intact.

Talen stairs at Tails looking confused. "Uh, yeah, he did." Talen says while noticing that Sonic turned around to come back. "Oh yeah, my names Talen!" Talen says while standing up.

 

Sonic arrives at the two foxes talking together. "Hey Tails, whats up?"
