The YCM Monthly Newspaper-Originally an idea by Frunk

Hey i just wanted to explain what the YCM Monthly Newspaper should have and plus this was originally Frunk's idea and i just want to see if i can accomplish it.

 

You have to be extremely dedicated to the cause then. And your entire staff must be as well. You can't just say yes to every person that expresses an interest in your newspaper. They have to have a background that shows that they are dedicated workers and will not let you down in their work. If you require that an article be written by each member of your newspaper each week' date=' you have to be absolutely positive that each member can produce a quality article each week. If they don't, your newspaper will never get anywhere.

 

And even more important than your workers, YOU must be dedicated to it. If one day you decide that you're tired of YCM and leave, then the newspaper will fall apart and you will never be viewed by anyone in a positive light. If you are a lazy person by nature, you'll procrastinate on the newspaper and eventually will stop working. Again, the newspaper will fall. Because you're excited about this, and all your workers will be, you'll work hard and produce articles without fail for about two weeks, and then it'll start to seem like work to you, and you'll stop and let the paper slowly fall apart. That's what happens every time someone tries to do these things.

 

If you're willing to accept a suggestion, only hire reporters who have fan-fics that have been ongoing for a very long time, and who write a new chapter/episode often. These are the people you can count on to produce quality writing for you every week/day/few days/etc.

 

This idea has been done to death and failed EVERY time after only a few months.

You don't have to read the newspaper. If a few people want to write their own, let them have their fun. If you don't want to use it to gather information, then don't. If you're going to say "no support", at least give a better reason than "I have other ways of finding out stuff". That's not a good reason to oppose a newspaper. The real reason is because nobody is ever dedicated enough to keep writing for it. Inform the TC of that and show him/her that it's a problem that he/she needs to be able to overcome.

Okay Guys thanks to everyone for the Support i am sorry this Thread has been inactive for a Week but i was busy with something else.Anyway, am am officially done with School now, Summer Vacation begins now and i am free to make this Newspaper.So Caiba, you can be the final Reporter i know you can do it properly.WarriorNinja22 you can be an Artist that would be better. J.T.B. the Positions are actually quite simple Reporters are like Real Life People who go around and ask people questions about how they like YCM, what they like, what they don't like etc. Artists are people who find Pictures for the Newspaper or better said people who find Pictures that suit the Newspaper quite well. Idea Makers are People that consult with me about what should be in the Newspaper and i would like experienced people for that.And finally the Co-Editor is the Person Second in Command after me and i shall consult everything with him but i wanted a Moderator for this Job so that he can actually Stick the Newspaper Thread so that everyone can see it. And Hymn, i know we have had our differences before but i am asking politely, would you like to be part of the YCM Monthly Newspaper or not?
