The year is 2004, it has been 13 years since the last tournament of Seto Kaiba's where Zigfried Loyd tried to get rid of every piece of data KC had except it failed as Yugi Moto beat Lyon and also destroyed the Golden Castle Of Goldberg. Its also been a year since Jaden & Co had left Duel Academia for the Pro Tour circuit. Although most of the flames of evil have been snuffed out by most, their is still one bit of evil left, a evil thats been locked away during the time of the "Great Pharaoh" that still exists, waiting for the time to seek the revenge that was stolen from it.

 

Todays Episode: ...Big Day...

 

It was truly a scorching day for Domino City as their wasn't a single rain cloud to be seen anywhere in the sky. It was so hot that frying a egg on the pavement would get burned to the point where it would be hard as coal. A young foreign girl from USA who looked mostly native American and is only fourteen is relaxing under a umbrella in this heat, her eyes were a cold arctic ocean blue, her hair was to her neck, and was a darkish red with that would almost would resemble blood, she wore a pair of blue jeans with red sneakers while also wearing a red short sleeved t-shirt. She was looking down from the roof top where she was sitting under the shade with her glass of ice water in her hand and watched the citizens walk by and look completely exhausted.

 

"Man these people look like their about to keel over from a little sun, how pathetic." Said Kachine in a mocking tone.

 

"Kachine Lockheart! Remember some of those people your talking about cant afford all these luxuries like you do." Said Kachine's Maid from behind Kachine.

 

Kachine fell out of her chair being surprised for she hadn't heard the maid walk towards her to begin with and fell onto some slightly dried out but very lush grass and very shortly the glass of water she was enjoying had fell on her head upside down, soaking her head a bit.

 

"Do you always have to scare me like that you nearly scared me half to death ?!" She asked in a sort of still frightened but sort of angry tone.

 

"No, but remember you have to get to that exam of yours you been waiting so long for. Also, the car is overheated and the mechanic is fixing it as we speak." Her maid replied expecting the car to be fixed at least around 5 PM until she heard a very large snort followed by a bang, which could only mean the car was going to take longer to fix.

 

"How about the Roller Blades?" Asked Kachine if she could use those to get to her exams at the least.

 

"That is the only thing for you to use after that incident where you biked and some how managed to remove the handle bars and breaks from the bike." Explained Kachine's maid as she had figured Kachine was biking down hill really fast or something close to that.

 

She checked her watch to realize she had only 15 minutes to make it to the Duel Academia exams, she put her deck in her pocket, took off her sneakers and put them in her backpack and put on her roller skates and skated right out the door.

 

She skated over hedges, over open man hole sewers and even over dogs on a thick leash as fast as she could. She skated her best threw some tight corners on her way and reached the place where the Duel Academia exams were being held.

 

"Am I to late to enter the exams?" Kachine asked the people at the sign up area while her breath hadn't catch up with her.

 

"A few minutes late but you can still apply for the Exam this year." One of the workers had said as they signed Kachine up and pointed her the way to the exam area. Kachine took off her roller blades and put them in the back pack and took out her sneakers and put those on.

 

Kachine was wandering to the exam halls with curiosity and wonder in her eyes as she took in as much as she could. She lost her footing and began to slip backwards, she closed her eyes expecting to hit the ground hard. She waited for a bit and noticed a warm arm keeping her from hitting the ground, she opened her eyes as she stared into the cold yet enchanting eyes of a boy with dark brownish hair. For several moments like a frozen stasis Kachine and the boy stared at each other, her eyes were drawn to this mysterious boy like a spell bound her eyes to his when she had first opened them. If any word could be muttered from her lips in this moment it was to silent to be heard by anyone.

 

This strange boy who had come out of nowhere had helped Kachine onto her feet and began walking away.

 

The first words to come out of Kachine's mouth were "What is your name?" she had voiced out to the boy.

 

The boy had stopped and said without turning "Its Draco..." as he began heading to the stands. Kachine pictured him as the wanderer with a ragged brown cloak but a noblemen or a knight at the same. Her heart was beating very fast then at a normal rate. Her eyes were now filled with wonder and curiosity for not the place where she was going to take her exam but for Draco.

 

Kachine saw a teacher down in one of the blocks waving and pointing to her. She pointed to herself and the teacher nodded. Kachine headed down to the block, with her mind in place but her heart was elsewhere as though it was trying to look for Draco.

 

"Anyone home?" The teacher asked as his head sort of turned in wonder like a owl.

 

"Oh! Yes, sorry." She said a bit embarrassed.

 

"No problem now lets begin your test." The teacher had said with not a stressed but more mellow tone.

 

Kachine: 4000

Teacher: 4000

 

"As the test taker I will go first." The teacher told Kachine.

 

"Okay." Kachine replied.

 

The teacher set a face down spell/trap and a face down monster and ended his turn. "Now what will you do to win in this signal turn?" the teacher asked Kachine?

 

Kachine had her hand on a card as she began to draw it a person from outside the duel block noticed the ropes of fate that bound Kachine to this world, a rope of fate was being severed by Kachine although she wasn't aware of this. "Wicked!" Kachine said at the card she had drawn. "I play Heavy Storm along with Noblemen of Crossout to get rid of your two face down cards. Next I summon Gifted Summoner Luna and discard a spell card from my hand to bring in Ifrit." A large animal like creature of flames had arise from the ground with great ferociousness. "Now I will equip Ifrit with Breaking Shackles to double his current power of 2600 for the turn and he will attack you directly!"

 

Kachine: 4000

Teacher: 0

 

"Well done Kachine you passed the exam." Said the teacher congratulating her on passing as he began to get up after being knocked down by Ifrit.

 

She was awarded with a complete set Obelisk Blue clothing and being able to get into the highest rank in duel academy. She headed for the girls bathroom and got changed into her new clothing even though the skirt was a tad short she didn't mind much. She walked with a sense of pride until she noticed that their was only one copter left and it was already getting loaded up, she ran to get into the copter as soon as she could, when she did get in their was only one open seat left and that seat was next to... Draco. The copter began to take flight, her heart began beating savagly as she was sitting next to Draco although he was looking somewhere else. Kachine put both her hands on her lap and looked down with a very blushed face, she noticed that same warm hand with yellow sleeve on her hands. Her heart beat faster, sweat was pouring more, her eyes had widened, she looked to her side, it was Draco with a reassuring smile on his face.

 

"Don't worry, everyone is sort of nervous and excited about their first trip to Duel Academy." Draco spoke. Kachine felt so protected and warm inside her heart, she thought she had died and gone to heaven for this boy was like a prince to her.

 

~ Elsewhere ~

 

"Have you brought the souls for my resurrection?" Asked a entity in a fading black cloak.

 

"Of course my lord." Said a person who was watching Kachine duel and sever a rope of fate.

 

"Everything is going to plan, and without that meddlesome Pharaoh, nothing this time can stop me from taking over this pathetic world." Said the cloaked entity.

 

"Indeed lord Bakura, and without the Supreme King to guard the academy from threats its vulnerable and yours for the taking." Said the mysterious person. Both laughed evilly as the volcano on Duel Academy began to shake and erupt.

I do indeed have a Pojo account as I did happen to post it their too as thats the place where a different but similar story I crafted out of this slightly same Part 1 I made... now then onto the next ep.

 

Today's Ep: ....BLOOD MOON....

 

Kachine arrived at Duel Academy, she still was thinking of Draco but not as much when she saw the room she was staying in. King sized beds with silk sheets, a great view on the balcony where she can see the calm sunset on the ocean, flat screen T.V, a nice comfy couch, a glass coffee table, and her Duel Academy gym clothes on one of two of the large beds.

 

"WOW! I should have applied for the exams sooner!" Kachine had said in much excitement when noticing her room.

 

"Hey Kachine, you coming?" One of the other Obelisk Blue girl students had asked her wearing her Obelisk Blue uniform and sandels. She also had blue hair tied up in a pony tail with a dark blue bag in one hand and a towel in the other. "Um, where?" Kachine asked a bit confused. "The indoor hot spring, where else silly?" She had asked with a small but pleasant laugh followed.

 

"Sure." Kachine replied as she grabbed her towel and swimsuit as she walked with this girl she hadn't know yet. The two began walking down the hallway to the man made hot springs and had talked about many things.

 

"Well, this it." The nameless girl had said as she opened the doors.

 

"W-wow! This is just simply fantastic!" Kachine had exclaimed with break taking awe of this indoor spring. "I have to agree this room is pretty great." The nameless girl had said as both headed to the changing room.

 

While changing "My name is Cai." the nameless girl had said. "Thats a nice name." Kachine replied while smiling. "Thanks." Cai replied happily being given a comment on her name. "So how did you know my name?" Kachine asked her when almost done changing. "You don't know?" Cai asked in wonder and confusion. "Um, no, not really." Kachine spoke in a soft but confused tone like she missed something. "Oh your serious, well its not a bad rumor, its really a fantastic one, of how you beat that teacher to gain entry." Cai explained to Kachine. "Really? He wasn't that tough." Kachine replied astounded like she knocked out Rambo in one punch. "He should have been, usually his face down creature is a Winged Kuriboh with the face down of Flute of Summoning Kuriboh or Transcendent Wings, though he usually does have a normal Kuriboh in hand so how come he didn't use it on you?" Cai explained further to Kachine about the teacher she battled and his tactics. "Simple, Ifrit's effect being all damage dealt by him cannot be prevented." Kachine said with a smirk.

 

...About a half-hour later...

 

The two were still relaxing in the warm tendering water, Cai was sound asleep with a towel as her pillow and Kachine was relaxing with her eyes closed thinking about how great a day this has been. Kachine thought she heard noises from outside which opened her eyes wide open with a bit of fear growing in her heart. "Cai, Cai! Wake up." Kachine said to Cai as she tried waking her up. "Huh.. what is it Kachine?" Cai asked with her eyes slightly open. "Did you hear the noises?" Kachine asked a bit frightened. "What noises?" Cai asked being more awake. "Well like people screaming." Kachine said sounding much more scared. "Sure, and the boogey-man is behind us with a large fish in hand." Cai replied in a joking tone as she though Kachine was just kidding around until she looked into Kachine's scared eyes. "I mean it, I think their might monsters out their." Said Kachine as she tried convincing Cai about the noises she heard.

 

Cai hopped out and headed quickly for the changing room and came back shortly in her Obelisk Blue uniform with a duel disk strapped on her arm. "Monsters, huh? Lets teach those so called monsters to mess with our bath time." Cai said filled with excitement like she was on a monster hunt. "Right!" Kachine agreed as she headed to the changing room and got dressed without a duel disk.

 

Both left the Obelisk Blue Girl's Dorm and into the forest with flashlights. As they made their march walking further and further away from the Academy, a cloaked person standing next to one of the several golden obelisks watched silently as the girls began to go out of sight into the woods.

 

The sounds of owls, rustling bushes and figures that moved in the darkness that made Kachine cling onto Cai. "Don't worry Kachine, their is nothing fear here with me around." Cai said happily and brave, until a noise that Cai heard just as well Kachine heard began to take her fearlessness away from her. The sound was screaming that scared both of them. Cai and Kachine moved their flashlights around the forest quickly to see what made the noise but didn't find the source. Then their flashlight began to lose power, the sounds of screaming didn't cease, in fact the sounds of claws scrapping on trees could also be heard. Branches being broken filled the air as the screaming began to stop. Cai and Kachine began to backup against a tree becoming very terrified, their flashlights stopped working when the sounds of branches of breaking began to fill the air.

 

Kachine felt something sticky and darker color then the bark of the tree. Blood is what she was touching as she flicked it away from her fingers in disgust. Growling could be heard now, it was canine like but the sound of the foot steps didn't sound like a four legged beast, more like it was standing on its hind legs. Cai and Kachine were sitting on the ground against the same tree in each others arms in terror.

 

When they looked up they could see blood red eyes starring across from them in the bushes, advancing. The creature jumped out of the bushes snarling towards them ready to make a meal out of them as the creature opened its jaw at them when a shine from the path began to glow brighter.

 

"Lightlord Paladin Jean I summon you! Protect Kachine and her friend now!" Said a familiar not to distant voice that Kachine remembered as the paladin sliced the creature in half.

 

"Draco!" Kachine cried out for. "Are you alright Kachine?" Draco asked as he helped them both up as they clung to him in terror. "Yeah, we are now but how did you know we were here? Kachine asked him. "Yeah are you one of the people doing this?" Cai asked suspiciously. "No, though whats weird is while on a stroll out in the moonlight I meet a fortune teller who told me that a girl I meet only today is in danger along with a friend." Draco said recalling what happened. "Thats really corny, you know that?" Cai told Draco. "Yeah but its what happened and if I remember correctly I just saved both of you from that monster." Draco said in the tone of "Who just saved your hides?". "Good point, but then what was that creature?" Cai asked. Draco picked up a card and replied as he shined it in his lantern "Zombie Werewolf, apparently."

 

"That doesn't make any sense, how are cards doing this? Don't you agree Kachine?... Kachine?" Cai asked again for Kachine's opinion. Draco lifted his lantern up and noticed Kachine was walking further into the forest as if drawn to something. "Kachine wait up!" Cai spoke out loud to her as both Cai and Draco began running after her.

 

Both caught up with her and asked several times "Where are you going?" yet Kachine didn't respond like as though she had been sleep walking. "Kachine snap out of it! This isn't funny." Cai pleaded.

 

Draco grabbed Kachine and lugged her over his shoulders "You need rest." Draco said to Kachine.

 

Both placed Kachine her bed after she stopped trying to head back to the woods for reasons unknown.

 

"What was Kachine doing?" Cai asked Draco wondering about her Kachine. "I don't know, but what I do know is something is luring Duelists into the woods to become apparently food for creatures." Draco replied. Both duelists stayed in Kachine's room to keep watch over her incase one of those creatures come back for her.

 

...Elsewhere...

 

Two Zombie Werewolves appeared at the mouth of the volcano opening their mouths and releasing souls into jars.

 

"Lord Bakura, it seems as though one of the three werewolves you sent out got destroyed while collecting." Said a minion.

 

"Oh well, you cannot expect it to be that simple, now can you J. Lockheart?" Bakura asked.

 

"I suppose not, Lord Bakura, but why do you need souls? You already have a body." J. Lockheart replied and questioned Bakura.

 

"All in due time now keep your Sirens in the forest and send the wolves back for more souls, the night is still young." Bakura commanded.

 

"Of course." J. Lockheart replied as he sent the sirens and wolves back in once more for another collection of souls.

 

...Morning...

 

Kachine, Draco and Cai noticed nobody has disappeared like the whole incident was just a nightmare.

 

"Weird you think you would at least see one duelist missing." Cai said.

 

"Totally weird, I mean did we all just dream what we saw? What you think Draco?" Said kachine who replied to Cai's question then asked Draco.

 

Draco didn't respond to her question being mister silent again.

 

The day continued as normal, their was no evidence of anything they heard or might have saw from last night.

 

The night came again with screams.... and this time in the morning their was trails of blood leading deep into the forest, no duelist was missing though the forest had several signs of claw marks on trees along with broken branches.

 

Although their was one duelist after the 3rd night that had not shown up for classes, Cai.

 

The 4th night...

 

Kachine headed into the forest... alone, not by the sounds this time but because she wanted to know what happened to her dear friend Cai.

 

The forest was filled with the same noises from the first night she entered. She walked steadily although with fear she did not show it. She came to a open field of flowers in the middle of the forest.

 

Cai was standing in the field of flowers with a full moon overhead. "Cai is that really you?" Kachine had asked in a sign of her guard dropping. "Indeed, Kachine." Cai replied. Kachine ran towards Cai who had open arms yet Kachine stopped. "Y-your eyes." Kachine spoke out in shock. "What don't you like having a monster for a friend, Kachine?" Cai spoke a sinister tone. "Your not the friend I knew!" Kachine spoke out of tone to Cai. "Hmm fine, if you win I will be free of my spell though if you lose... you will become just like me." Cai said with much confidence.

 

"DUEL!" both said as they activated their Duel Disks.

 

"You can go first Kachine." Cai said in a mocking tone.

 

Kachine: 4000

Cai: 4000

 

"I set a monster face down and place 2 face down spell/traps for my turn." Kachine said wishing Cai was at her side and not against her.

 

"Heh your doom is at hand, I set two cards face down and end my turn." Cai said mocking.

 

"I set another monster face down and end my turn." Kachine said. "I activate my Destiny Board and put into play Message "I", next I activate Pyroclock of Destiny and put into play Message "N".

 

"Face it Kachine, your friend is gone, this is a battle you cannot win! HAHAHA!" The being controlling Cai said with a menical laughter.
