Valarie bolted into the Power Control Classroom, the Gym. "Sorry I'm late!" Valarie said, brushing her bangs out of her face. Not really, She thought to herself, talking a seat on the gym floor. "Today, we will be learning each others Super Powers. My name is Mr. Massey. My power is Super Strength." He pressed a button on a remote, and a car dropped on him, and he held it up with one hand. "That is how you will present yourself. Name. Super Power. Demonstration. You. Go first." Mr. Massey pointed to Valarie. Valarie stepped to the front of the crowd of students. "Valarie. Earth manipulation." Valarie waved her hand, and earth bolted up through the floor. "You're gonna have to fix that." She said to Mr. Massey, and sat down.

[Lord JZ of the Enigma]

Mr. Massey then looked at Joseph, and asked him to come up, Joseph of course sighed as he tried walking towards the front of the stage, but he couldn't think of a way to present his power in a brightly lit room. "Uhm...hello, my name is Joseph...and I have manipulation over Darkness....uhm...to demonstrate...uhm....uh....hmm.....ah!" he closed his eyes and began thinking soon the area around him began growing darker as if the light was being absorbed by him. "I'm sorry, it's not much of a presentation." he stated as he walked off stage.

[Headmaster Monokuma]

Arron watched the display, and grinned. He has potential, he just needs better focus. He’ll get it here. Arron then noticed that Mr. Massey was looking in his direction. “I assume it’s my turn? Very well then.” He made his way to the stage and slowly turned to the crowd. “I am Arron Elendril, my power is Telekinesis, and for a demonstration, watch the bleachers.” Slowly but surely, they would vibrate. “I decided to go the different route. Instead of moving the objects, it’s much more fun to mess with their molecular structure. Soon, they will just move completely away.” As this continued, the bleachers rose into the air, and then snapped in half. “A side effect of this is that the object in question may break.”

[Guest Random Dude]

Jon walked over to the stage with his guitar. "I'm Jon Stone and I control sound." He said as he took his guitar in his hand. "The guitar is mainly for show, but it helps me channel my powers," he played a loud riff and the whole room seemed to vibrate with sound alone. The windows in the gym shattered and the stage started to shake. He stopped playing and the vibrations faded along with the last note. He held up his hand and made Ronnie James Dio's signature hand sign as he walked off the stage.

Soon enough it was Jecht's turn and he stepped infront of the crowd. He never was the one for public speaking. He cleared his throat a little nervous. "Ummm, I'm Jecht and I can create and control both ice and water." He looked around at the other students and lifted his hand up to the level of his shoulders. Water started to rise up in a snake-like shape. He flicked his hand shot around the word like a pinball. Then it suddenly stoped, frozen. It dropped to the floor, shattering on the others. He lifter his hands up and the small fragments of ice into the air, it melted and sprikled over the crowd like rain. Despite how much he hates public speaking, he just loves to show-off.

Darren watched as all of the other students walked up and demonstrated his powers. He was amazed by all of them. They were all unique, and their powers were so much different than his. Darren sat in awe, until he realized that it was probably his turn to come up. Darren stood up, and walked up to the stage. He spoke clearly and loudly, so that everyone could hear him, but he didn't know exactly what to say. "Uh... Hi, I'm Darren, and my power is..." he paused. How can I demonstrate my power? ...I know! Darren thought of a plan in his head, and reached into a small pouch on his belt. He opened it, and dumped the contents in his hands. It was a pile of small animal bones. He carried them in case something happened and he didn't have any bones to supply him. Darren put one of his hands in the air above the hand with the bones in it, his palms both facing each other.

 

As he focused, and the bones lifted into the air. They were held there, and began to move around. They started to form an odd shape, until Darren had completed his demonstration, and the figure could be made-out now. It was a small bird! Darren, still staring at it, willed it to fly up, and it did. It flew around the room, then came back to him. It flew back into his open hands, and fell apart as Darren stopped focusing energy into hit. He placed the bones back in his pouch, and spoke again. "And my power is Necromancy! As you could see, I was able to control all of those bones to form that bird!" Darren smiled, then walked back down to sit. It seemed that he was the youngest one there, since this was his first year. But he was in very advanced courses, so he knew that he would have to show that he wasn't some little kid.

Zack walked onto the stage "I'm Zack, I can summon any kind of beast, animal or anything like that." Zack stated before closing his eyes and moved his hands toward his chest, he started concentrating, and small sparks flew out of nowhere into his hands and formed a small light orb, the orb turned into a small dragon in his hands, Zack removed his hands and the baby dragon started to fly, then it started to grow, and grow and grow, the dragon then blew fire on the gym flour. Zack was able to make it disappear before it destroyed the gym "Oops." Zack stated before walking off the stage.

[Compass]

As Mr. Massey called him up, Matthew seemed to shrink lower in his seat. Finally, more like a criminal forced to carry his own noose up to the stand then anything else, he stood onstage before the group. "I-I-I'm...Matthew." He finished quickly. "And...well...um...I...I can't control my powers." He muttered, his bare feet, which where stained green from walking in so much grass, moving from place to place. "So...Um, that's me." He muttered. Hesitanting for a moment, he wasted no more time in high-tailing it off the stage and out of the room, almost crying in his embrassement at being the only one not in controll of his powers.

Joseph was amazed and all he could do was put on a weak light show (Dark show?) he felt a little embarrassed about his apparent lack of abilities. but he wasn't much for showy demonstrations anyway. Despite having been off stage for a while, the light around him was still very dim, as if he was still disturbing the light around him. "oh no....this isn't good." he seemed to be having trouble controlling the darkness around him until for a second he disappeared, with no light around him to be reflected it was as if he was being passed through by the light beams. but shortly there after...he sneezed and he reappeared. "whew...close one..."

Valarie had sympathy towards Matthew. She felt bad he had to be embarrassed like that in front of the whole entire class. She really didn't know what she should do- go and comfort him or just stay in the class waiting for all of the students to finish showing off their powers. She decided to go and see if Matthew was okay- there was really nothing else to do- she thought she might die of all of the boredom. Getting out of the Gym was easy, Mr. Massey was focused on watching the presenting students.

Kyosuke Watched as everyone showed off. He was nobody, he didn't worry about appearances. Mr. Massey called Kyosuke next. Kyosuke just casually got up. "I am Kyosuke Yamashita. I control the entity known as Dark Matter. For those of you who don't know Dark matter is the never ending material forever expanding Space." Kyosuke then put his hands up right in front of his chest and they were facing each other. They were a little over two inches apart. Then a small black ball appeared between his hands. The air started to fluctuate around him and wind was blowing towards it. Then a giant black hand came out of it and shook the teachers hand. It then went back into the ball and it evaporated into the air. Kyosuke then just sat back down.

Jecht felt sorry for Matthew but really what could he do to help? Then he saw someone near him appear out of seemingly nowhere. He recgonized him as the person who could control the shadows. Jecht wasn't listening that much to his name. He went over to introduce himself. "Hey." HE said ignoring the person now on stage. "I'm Jecht. Jecht Kyne. I was just wondering what you just did. You like disappeared but you control shadows."

"uhm...uh..." he didn't know how to respond to Jecht, being that he was a very introverted person, but he tried speaking, albeit in a low voice "well, you see....when I absorb the light in my surroundings I stop the light from being reflected on my skin, so technically I disappear from the color spectrum, but I'm still there" he said, though it was hard to hear. He then tried looking away as if Jecht thought he was crazy, it would seem he had a very bad image of himself. But he was just a bit paranoid about everybody.

Arron had been watching the displays, but only one of them had slightly interested him so far. Darren's Necromancy. Interesting. He has much control, and he knows what he is doing when it comes to his power. I have to say, I'm impressed. Arron then slowly made his way to the back of the room, where only those who were looking for him could possibly find him. "I can't believe what I have seen today, a kid with no control, a few with control, and one with a close mastery." Arron grabbed a small item from his pocket, a good luck charm if you will. A small token from long ago, in words you may understand, a Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons game pak. The thing didn't even work anymore, but he couldn't bring himself to get rid of it.

Suddenly, Robert burst into the Gym. He looked around, though he couldn't see anything. He could hear a lot of things though: a multitude of heartbeats, breathing, and he could smell the people. There's quite a lot of people in this room, he thought. Suddenly, a voice boomed out, "Whoever you are, get over here and show us what you've got!" Robert assumed it to be the teacher, and quickly jogged over to the stage, whose location he discerned by the sounds of footprints coming off of it. He quickly pulled himself up, then spun around to (he assumed) face the others.

 

"Alright then. My name's Robert Gutierrez, and my power is animal mimicry. It's a special power, that lets me adapt parts of my body, both outside and inside, to mimic those of animals. Like...this." As he said the last word, he concentrated, thinking of rhinos, and his skin almost instantly turned gray. He also grew slightly larger, and an ivory horn grew out of his head. After a moment, he shifted back to normal. "And...I can do that with any animal I want. Though I haven't tried insects or arachnids yet." With that, he hopped deftly from the stage, walked over, and sat down next to Arron.

Zack separated himself in a corner from the rest of the crowd, not paying attention to the rest of the introductions practicing his summoning "Ok, try one." Zack whispered to himself while taking his hands and placing them close to his chest, a lot like how Kyosuke did, sparks flew into his hands, forming a small bright red orb of light, he removed his hands from the orb of light, the light turned into a small red, cute baby dragon, Zack then did the same thing over again, this time a yellow orb appeared "Ok, now I can control the dragon as long as this orb remains in my hands." Zack whispered to himself, he closed his eyes and concentrated, he could now see through the eyes of the cute baby dragon he summoned, he flew into the air, flapping his wings, loud enough for the whole gym to hear.

Matthew ran faster then he ever had. Hm...If I where a student trying to find another one on a gym teacher's orders, where would I look? He stopped at a deserted classroom. He could hide here untill the school year was over. Or at least untill the end of the day. He made himself as small as possible in a corner, after closing the door behind him.

Unbeknownst to him, he had left a trail of grassy footprints, which where just beginning to grow flowers.

Kyosuke watched a few more presentations while writing in his notebook, studying everyone. Then someone named Robert Gutierrez, who interrupted the whole class. The teacher just wanted him to demonstrate though. "Baka." Kyosuke said quietly to himself. He then noticed a boy, Zack, trying what seemed like to preform a summoning. Kyosuke was going to whisper something to them until they made the dragon fly, which made it quite loud to hear. "Hey," Kyosuke Got out of his chair and saw the dragon. "I've never seen one so small before." He just looked at it, well aware that he interrupted the class. "So how does your ability work exactly?. I'm a little curious. Where do these beasts of yours come from?"

Jecht had to lean in to hear Joseph. "Hmmm, interesting. There's a lot of science in this stuff but nobody seems to notice or even try to figure it out. I myself haven't figured my "abilities" at all. I can control them but how they work, baffles me." Jecht turned to notice small groups of flowers sprouting up. He thought Joseph didn't really like to talk so he said "Excuse me, gotta go." And he started to run off into the direction of the flowers.

Zack let go of the yellow orb as it disappeared and the dragon disappeared in sparks as well, Zack opened his eyes "Nailed it!" he stated before noticing Kyosuke "They don't come from anywhere," Zack responded to Kyosuke while thinking of a way to finish his sentence "I create them......" Zack finished while holding out his left hand as a yellow orb appeared formed in his hand. After a few seconds, the yellow orb turned into a small lion.

"So you just, make them?" Kyosuke said curiously, "Well, how... Interesting" he said fixing his glasses. Kyosuke walked back to his seat and wrote his discovery in his notebook. "I don't know, this power seems to... indifferent. Things just aren't made out of nothing. there has to be some sort of source." Kyosuke leaned back and watched the rest of the demonstrations.

Arron slowly focused on the game pack, and imagined it floating into the air. Go. With this, the game pack started to levitate into the air, and it started to circle around the room. Enough. The pack returned to Arron's pocket, and he turned to the boy who just sat down next to him. "Hello, Robert. If there are two powers out of these displays that interest me, it's your’s and Darren’s. You didn't get to hear his power, but he has Necromancy. It was quite an interesting display.” Arron grabbed the pack out of his pocket once more. I’m so bored, there’s nothing to say. I’d rather watch a bunch of cupcakes sing a merry song., and go surfing on a door.

Jecht continued following the footstep-shaped, unusal, plant growths. He found himself at a classroom door. He opened the door slightly and stuck his head in. "Hello?" He opened the door a little more and stepped in. Jecht closed the door behind him and turned on the light. He saw the kid sitting in the corner, he remembered him as the one who said he couldn't control his powers. He sighed knowing what was going on. Jecht walked over to the corner and sat down beside the kid. "Hey dude." He said casually. "Everything alright?"
