I don't know how many points I can give...some are a prize for the Sea Serpent Contest (which you're entered in, BTW). I suggest that muffinblobbster sets an entrance fee and then adds that onto all the points he wants to give to make the grand total, with donations welcome...

Couple of Solutions:

1. Donate for anyone that have an extra/spare/unused points.

2. Set an entrance fees.

3. Lower the prizes.
