Chapter 1 The Beginning

A man cloaked by the darkness of the night was sitting at a desk thinking while a tv was on. The tv was broadcasting a message from President Lykin. the man at the desk said "No time to think. I must make haste. They're coming, they're coming after me...and him. What do I do? Is this the fate of one who doesn't follow orders? I know the rule but why is it them?" There were three knocks on the door and he stood still. He got up and picked up his gun. Three men busted through the door and started searching the house. He accidently coughed and the men looked down and one said "There he is, hiding under the floorboards I see him." They started shooting the floor, ripping up the wood with the power of the bullets. The man crawled through the hole under his house and moved the door in front of him so they couldn't get in. By the time he was hidden the men had torn up the floor boards and were searching for him. They looked and couldn't find him. One looked to the other and said "He must've snuck out while we were tearing this place apart." The leader nodded his head and said "Let's return to headquarters and give a report." The men walked outside of the house and got into the vehicle and drove away.

A woman and a small child were driving on a backroad looking for the town they would soon live in.

Disney music was playing while the mother was on the phone talking to the insurance company. They had just come back from the boy's father's funeral. The boy was 9 years old and was an accelerated learner and great athlete and his name is James. His first day of Eisenhower Military School would begin the next day. They finally arrived in town and the mother stopped by the grocery store to pick up some food for the boy. They walked in the grocery store and the mother turned off her phone and said "James, this is the town where your father grew up." The boy looked up to his mother with a smile and said "Really Mom, does he have any friends here?" The mother replied, "yes James, one of your uncles live here as well."

the boy's smile grew wider and he said "When do we get to see them?" The mother said "today James, no worries." The mother and son were walking out of the store and were almost back to the car when a man pulls out a knife and says "give the money honey and the kid still walks." The mother said "Here, here's the money, just leave him alone." The thief looked at the money and said "This is all, really?" The thief slit the boy's mother in the throat and ran away. The thief looked at James and said "In good time boy, you will gain power from your hate, and perhaps you will find me and kill me." James got onto his knees and started moving his mother's body. "He kept on saying "mom, mom wake up. Wake up mommy." The mother was dead and James started crying. A police car came over and saw the motionless body. He got out of his car and spoke on his phone. Other police cars started coming then the ambulance. An officer came up to James and said "come here son, I'll get you to your other family." James still crying walked with the police officer to the car. The officer walked into the car and said "I'm sorry about your mother James. She was a wonderful woman" The boy looked up and asked "how do you know my name mr.? The officer looked into his rear-view mirror and said "I'm your uncle James. The name is Daniel."
