Βyakuya
To make good decks that have a good theme and strength, follow these tips:1.A deck must have a theme, like a Stardust Dragon deck or a Gladiator Beast deck. Decks with themes focus on key monsters which are very powerful, and can help summon and support those monsters into winning. For example:Can be used great with As seen, When Ojama Trio is activated, useless tokens are summoned on your opponent's side of the field. Allure Queen LV5 can equip those tokens, so it can ward off your opponent's monsters, and is able to special summon better monsters. 2. Decks must be organized. The minimum amount of cards in a deck is 40 cards. A balanced deck according to the rules states:x10 Normals x10 Effectsx10 Spellsx10 TrapsThat's a balanced 40 cards that is preferable, but that's only an organized way to settle. The maximum amount of cards is 80 in a deck. I say a deck should be around 40-50. Decks exceeding can be hard to draw the right cards at the right time, out of a jumble of others. Place cards in decks which are multiply helpful, to other cards, so they won't take up space, and will support other monsters. 3. Pick Supporting CardsAs already said in steps 1 and 2, monsters and spells and traps should be organized and useful, toward the main point of the deck. A good card must have an equal balanced effect. Others that have an unbalanced can be costly and dangerous. For example: Aegis of Gaia increases your LP by 3000, but will inflict 3000 points of damage to you when destroyed, which is common to be destroyed with cards like Mythical Space Typhoon, and Heavy Storm. Make sure your cards have effects that search out others. 4. Preferable CardsThese kinds cards should be preffered:-Ones that destroy monsters-Ones that Disable Effects-Ones that increase Monster's ATK and DEF-Ones that are easy to summon and/or is unable to destroy-Ones that search monsters from deck and/or drawing cards Examples: These cards are examples of preferabble ones. For themed decks, pick a very powerful or helpful monster card, then make a deck applying to that card. That's all for now.
