Normally it is common courtesy not to inb4 a person, but to inb4 a statement that will obviously said by a person. By saying "inb4dark", you are somewhat implying you expect me to come into this thread, and I take that as a negative connotation. If you said "inb4darkbashesreligion", you are saying that I am going to come in here and take the obvious route by making fun of Pro-Life people. That wouldn't necessarily be nicer, but it'd make me feel like you aren't a douche. Just remember that the next time you want to use inb4.

On-topic, pro-choice. Nothing is absolute, and laws should (and do) take that into account, so abortion within a defined set of conditions is acceptable in my opinion.

I think it's absolutely stupid and wrong for some woman to just go out and be a slut with the mindset of "Oh, if I get pregnant I can just kill it, so no harm done". Letting people like that get away with it is just sickening.

 

However, if it's purely for stem cell research and it's before it's technically alive, I'm all for it, because it benefits people.

 

Or if some girl got raped. Her life shouldn't be ruined for the sake of something that doesn't even comprehend and appreciate life yet. She was there first anyway. Plus it wasn't her fault.

Because a 16-year-old mom would treat her baby SO well, right? And you are ruining two people's lives: the baby AND the mom. If you get an abortion, you are killing an undeveloped (to a certain point) baby and saving the teenager some trouble.

 

I'm not saying I promote the type of attitude Revolver mentioned, and I do agree on restrictions for abortion. But if it was a legitimate accident, you should not be stopped from aborting it.

I sure wouldn't want to give birth to a child if its father was a damn rapist. I'd kill myself or the baby within a few days of its birth, but that's just me. <_<
