My idea, with a little bit of help from J-Max, was to hold (Every Year) 6 contests held by different Mods.

 

The winner of each will receive 4 points

The runner up of each will receive 3 points

3rd will receive 2 points

Everyone else who entered would get 1

 

At the end of all 6 tournaments each persons points are added together to see who has one.

 

NOTE TO MODS: You will need to PM the person after you the overall points sothey can put it in there tourney for others to see.

 

This is an example

 

January: Made by JoshIcy - Sumer of Bliss (1/6 YCM Cup)

March: Made by FD - Firey grave (2/6 YCM Cup)

May: Madwe by PR - Darkness arrives (3/6 YCM Cup)

 

And so on, (Mods don't have to call them that)

 

When it is Azrael turn to make a contest, he could still call it Diamond in the Rough, he would just need to say what number tournament it is.

DitR is YCM's Official Contest. Or rather, that's the impression most people have. I mean, it's stickied and all. If there were to be an official contest, just make DitR official.

As a fellow CC Mod I take offense at that comment. At least the Mod Team is trying to put up some official contests for the Forum. How else do you expect to get Name Changes hmmmm?

This was the last Diamond in the Rough with Name Changes offered as prizes. Look at the points up for grabs as well. This is how a contest should be run. Heck if the whole Mod team worked together we could make a Multi tiered contest of epic proportions.

How many people have joined?

Members from all across the card making spectrum. From beginners to experts. All designers are treated as equal in the Arena and another Mod usually judges. Icyblue has always done this job well and is harsh when needed.

There was 22 people that joined, I was more thinking of a big tournament held by YCMaker or Falling Pizza, like every year or so.

 

Or...We could have a yearly competition. Every 2 months or so there could be a tournament, winner gets 3 points and it goes down, If we held several of those, maybe each Mods holds one, then a big one at the end made by FP, then we add up the points.

Look i'm not being cruel or anything but do you think that YCMaker and FP really give a crap about the Card Maker? It's the CC Mod team that gives Custom Cards the love it deserves. YCMaker and FP help to heep the Forum running.
