Does that mean there are 120 Comet Coins?

Fuuuuuuu-

I only have seven. <__________<

There's a total of 49' date=' but you can only get 48 before the Green Stars appear.

The 49th one is in Grandmaster.

[/quote']

Does that mean there are only 49 galaxies in total, since each has one Comet Coin?

Meaning there are seven worlds @ seven galaxies each?!

I'm over-thinking this, aren't I?

Well... pretty much. Every galaxy has a comet medal.

And there are seven worlds... with seven galaxies in each.

Damn, you've pretty much hit the nail.

I'm only at the end of World 2, but every galaxy so far has had a Comet Coin. I was just too lazy to effing get them all.

And Worlds 1 and 2 have seven galaxies, so ASSUMPTION FTW.

Does that mean the Grandmaster Galaxy is the seventh galaxy in World 7? Meaning the sixth galaxy is the final Bowser battle? or sumthin'

World 6 has the last Bowser fight, and World 7 (which is really called World S) has six galaxies until you find all the green stars, then GM galaxy will appear.

This convo is now interrupted by me. Hohoho. GMG looks awesome, although, I expected more epicness from it.

I've already beaten it twice.

And I have to say' date=' It's funner the 2nd time, since you know everything.

Just today, I went against fire Gobblegut, and I finnally beat him with out losing anything. It took some time, however.

*cough*fracktail*cough*

Fiery Gobblegut was pretty hard, imo. :/

Oh no you didn't.

The boss I hate the most IS the burning snake/worm/creature AKA Fiery Gobblegut. It was just hard.

I'm at 101 stars in Galaxy 1.

Galaxy 1 wants me dead, but my pure rage wont let it, and my insanity somehow keeps them both in check.

I need help, but no one cares.

29 stars. I did the Spin-Dig Galaxy Prankster Comet... and damn' date=' that was the easiest daredevil run I've seen. o_O

Oh yes, the easiest is the acid over the disappearing/roating platforms while clones come and hunt you down, and you just need to collect 402 coins.[/sarcasm]

You guys are slow at beating this game. I've already beaten it twice. The 2nd time is better than the first. I don't have much of an opinion on the green star search since I only started' date=' but the game is better the second time you do it.

[/quote']

Some people don't have sixteen hours a day to waste playing a Mario platformer. <_____<

I only get 4, which is well enough time for me to beat 3 worlds.

Just sayin.

I never played Galaxy 1 (or never beat it; highest was like 40 stars by myself at a friend's house), so I don't have much experience. And my last Mario platformer was like Mario 64 DS, iirc.

So it takes me at least six minutes per Star. And that's a lot of minutes to beat the game.

1452 minutes, which is more than 24 hours. And seeing as I got the game last week, that isn't enough time.

But my progress isn't all too great, tbqh. I have 38 Stars and all the Comet Coins for Worlds 1 and 2. But whatever, stfu up. I take my time for platformers so I don't get annoyed. =)

I didn't know you only just got it.

I could easily see how you only got that many, now that you mention it that way.

Big update from me. I have around 46 stars (more than 43, less than 50, idk the exact number), and I have all the Comet Coins from Worlds 1 through 3, minus the seventh galaxy in World 3.

I have completed World 1 fully, and have 4 galaxies done in World 2 and 3 galaxies done in World 3. I am making amazing progress.

The Purple Coins Star on the slide was annoying. Took me four tries. D:<

3rd day' date=' and I have around 37 stars. I'm pretty happy with myself, actually. Prankster comets in this game are a b****. D:< Like the balance ball comet.

[/quote']

That wasn't horribly bad. I finished that with around 12 seconds remaining.

It sucked because the silver chomp DID NOT WANT TO FALL. It kept hiding behind those raised circles. D':

I know. >.> That's the part I died on three times. It just kept not falling, and it was pissing me off. I killed with ease that first star, but then it just HAD to get all funking crazy.

Anyone notice that this game has a MAJOR abundance of extra lives?
