You have no way to recover lost Exodia parts, yet run lots of discard effects. If you're unable to afford losing a single part, you lose the duel almost immediately upon discarding one.

 

Backup Soldier could help a lot, allowing you to discard up to 3 limbs with Hand Destruction, etc and be able to retrieve them. This may help you free up some space in your hand to use your more valuable cards. Pot of Avarice is an alternative, but slower, and Dark Eruption could help you if you lose Exodia's head.

Here are some cruddy cards you can do without, not sure of what you can replace them with though, although D-Hero Dreadmaster is another potential target for D-Draw, Allure, etc.

 

Jar of Greed (Never use this. Never.)

Magical Mallet (This is called GAMBLING ._.)

Any other risk-based card - Like the above post, if you don't have anything to recycle, and your piece gets discarded, your dead. I prefer to use Pot of Avarice myself. To help, add 3x Thunder Dragons. Also, Emissary is a bit slow, if your aiming for FTK'ing someone, then don't use it.
