Marvel/DC - The Return of Magneto [PG13][Started][Accepting]

((As Professor))

The Professor thought for a moment..."Hmmm, maybe you should go see Beast, he might be able to help you out with this." The Professor knew, if anybody could help, it was Beast. "Well go talk to Beast and I'll see you later Thomas."

((As Joker))

"Quick in here!" The Joker ran to a nearby man-hole cover and opened it. He jumped on in before Gambit. "Beauty first!" He chuckled as he fell down the whole. "Ok this is our way into Arkham, there will be a way in around here somewhere. Let's hurry and go find Bane-ie boy!" The Joker chuclked and laughed down the sewer trail.

[Kōsuke Ueki]

Thomas nodded and left the room, closing the door behind him. Beast...Why does that name sound so familiar? he thought. He then walked outside to the tree where the battle last night took place, although he doesn't know about it whatsoever. As he walked up to the tree, he saw a girl with headphones. He then got a good look at her? Is that Jade? He then walked up and sat down next to her.

 

Okay, I'll admit this. I like Jade, alright? But I just can't say it. What if she doesn't like me back. She is the most beautiful girl in the school. How can I say that to her? She might think I'm one of those "Love Freaks". At least I can give her a nice conversation every once in a while.

[ArtemisFowl]

Gambit jumped down into the sewer, following Joker. He wasn't very found of sewers, was anybody? He knew there where mutants in hiding down there. He didn't want to find out who they were. They were on their own team. Not Magneto, not Xavier, they advoided the whole thing completely. Then once the whole thing was over, they stay to them selves. Nobody knew about them and that was how they liked it.

[Daxter]

((As Joker))

"Well, walking down here is just a bad idea, I'll get my new suit all dirty." The Joker laughed to himself. He looked down all three of the paths that were in this sewer. "Hmmm, well lets go." The Joker siad, almost in a serious voice. He started walking down the path on the far right. "So once we get threw this path, some Arkham guards will see my tricks." The Joker laughed once again. "Oh the fun we will have huh? The lives we will cut to an immediate and terrifying ending. Do you know the best part about ending lives? Hmmmm? It's knowing that the last thing they think of is how afraid they are of you." The Jokker kept laughing while talking, mostly about things Gambit probably didn't care about.

[Hotaru987]

Because of her headphones she couldn't hear the ground shift when Thomas sat next to her, but she did , however, feel another presence next to her. She peaked out of her eye before opening both, smiling widely at the boy who sat next to her. "Thomas, you're alright!" She quickly hugged him. "I was so worried when I heard you were in the infermary. But you're alright now, yes?" She wanted to ask why he was so sick, but decided that she'd wait a bit. Before he could start talking she quickly took out her headphones, and pressed pause on her ipod.

[ArtemisFowl]

"You're one sick little puppy, you know that?" Gambit said looking at his cards. THen Gambit began to move the cards around, with lots of flashy moves. His concentration was now on the cards as the flew around but every time they were caught by Gambit. "Well, Joker, you know what I love about cards?" HE said still messing around with the cards and not looking up. "EVeryone of 'em are deadly in my hands and there 52 of 'em. That's like 52 little packs of explosives.

[Daxter]

((Joker)) "Hahahaha" Well that's very interesting boy. But I have something better." The Joker pulled out a revolver out of his jacket and took a step towards Gambit. He pointed the gun at Gambit's face. "Do you wanna know what I love about me?" The Joker smiled. "With me, everything is deadly." He pulled the trigger and some confetti shot out and a sign that sad bang came out of th barrel. The Joker laughed so hard he almost started crying. They contiuned to walk for a while until Joker ran into a ladder. "Ahhhh, honey, I'm home!" The Joker began to climb up the ladder, farther and farther he went. After a long climb, he arrived at the surface and saw he was at the Asylum. "Ok Gambit old boy, lets go find Bane..." The Joker paused. There was a noise that sounded like knives just shot out of something at high speeds.

 

"Hey there bub." A voice called over. Of course the voice was Wolverine.

 

"Well...always a little meanie to ruin my fun hmm?" The Joker tapped Gambit on the shoulder. "You know what to do. Just remeber Gambit, you are my number 1." The Joker chuckled to himself. The Joker then ran towards the one building where a guard wasn't paying any attention. Joker took him out an went in the building.

 

"Once I kill you, he's next." Wolverine said to Gambit and stood there, waiting for the fight to begin.

Gambit looked at Wolverine and smiled. "Hmm, a rematch from last night. Don't mind if I do." He said flourishing his cards. He picked out a card. The Ace of Hearts, his favorite. Gambit showed off the card raising it to his face, it began to glow a purple color, as Gambit began to change the potenial energy, to kinetic. Once he threw it all the potenial energy would change to kinetic, thus creating a large explosion. He kissed the card and expertly threw the card, along with two others and withdrew his staff, but the card in his jacket, ready for use.

[Daxter]

((As Joker))

Once inside the building, Joker snuck throughout each hallway, trying to get as little attention as possible. He had to get down to the second floor, underground, to find bane. He knew he was close. Every guard he saw, he wanted to make suffer, but he didnt have time.

((As Wolverine))

As the cards came flying at Wolverine, he jumped over to the side and did a roll out of the way. "Listen to me Gambit, do you really think your on the right side this time?" Wolverine laughed to himself. "I mean, if your on the wrong side, you know you won't survive." Wolverine shot his claws back out, they had gone in when he jumped, but he shot them out again. "Listen, the Professor told me not to lose faith in you, so I offer you one choice, help us, help us stop Magneto for good...." He paused. "Or force me to kill an old friend."

[Hotaru987]

While waiting for Thomas to reply to her, Jade began figuring out the rubix cube. She'd began working on it beore she came out here but she got bored and put it down. I wonder if I should tell him? I mean I really, really like him....But...What if he just sees me as a friend? I'd look really stupid... She sighed and looked at her finished cube. Jade glanced at Thomas and smiled holding out the cube. "Mind mixing it up for me? It's no fun doing it by myself."

[Kōsuke Ueki]

"Oh, sure." said Thomas as he took the Rubix Cube and mixed it up. He then gave it back to her. "Here you go." Thomas sighed. "I don't want you to worry but..." He didn't know what to say. "...when I got this suit and I put it on for the first time, I never realized that it would attach to my skin and enter my bloodstream. This suit is poisoning me. With each day I have this suit on, I am one step closer to dying. I don't want to die!" Tears went down his eyes. He closed his eyes. If I die, I'll never see anyone again. he thought. Logan, Jade, Professor...

[ArtemisFowl]

Gambit looked at Wolverine, a little perplexed. He held his deck tight. "I tried to come back. I tried . . ." He looked down at the ground but his head snapped to attention. "But "the professor" told me straight to my face he didn't trust me. He wanted me out or else he'd raise the alarm right then and there." Gambit said, his mind told him, its a trap and to attack right now, but instead he waited for Logan's response. "So I went to Magneto, he accepted me with open arms."

[Daxter]

((As Wolverine))

"Listen to me Gambit, sure the Professor doesn't trust you, but he has reason. You have betrayed us many times...but he told me before I left, this could be the final battle between us and Magneto. So the question you have to ask yourself...are you on the right side?" Wolverine retracted his claws and pulled out a cigar. "I know you Gambit, your not a bad person, you don't enjoy seeing hundreds of people dying do you?! Cause that is what Magneto is trying to go for. Come on bub, for old times sake, help us, help us stop Magneto and stop Joker right now!" Wolverine wasn't sure why the Professor wanted to trust Gambit, but this was a time of war, and an allie was better than an enemy..

[Quiksilver]

"Interesting..." Luka muttered to himself. Hidden behind a car, he silently watched the scene unfold between Gambit and Wolverine. Oh, he was prepared to help Wolverine if need be, but right now he didn't exactly want to intrude on the scene. He had followed the Joker and Gambit down the alleyway, stumbling upon the manhole. He had went down it and found himself facing Gambit and Wolverine. Thus he had come here. "Seems like Wolfy knows Gambit...I wonder from where?" He wondered. "I wonder what's going to happen between them?" He said. Already, he thought he knew the answer. Violence would probably break out...

[Hotaru987]

Jade smiled and took the rubix cube, while listening to Thomas explain why he was so sick. She froze, her eyes widening at his revelation. "W-what? But you can't be..." Jade saw the tears roll down his face and she knew he wasn't lying. It felt like her whole world came cashing down, and her heart felt like a million tons.

 

"M-maybe I can help." She whispered in a cracked voice, to afraid to talk any louder. "I can extract the extra poison from your body after each use.....At least until you find a cure. I mean you are looking for a cure right?" She bit her bottom lip, her eyes starting to sting.

[Kōsuke Ueki]

"Yeah, I am." he replied to Jade. "The Professor said Beast might be able to help me, too. Let's just hope he's right about that. But, this suit is killing me very slowly. It will take about 6 months to a year before the poison can reach my heart. It basically acts as fat blocking my arteries, but it flows so slow, it's like nothing's wrong. That is, until I cough up blood and faint. That's why I was in the infirmary yesterday." Thomas stretched his arm out to Jade. "It's close to my heart, luckily, so do what you have to do, Jade."

[Daxter]

While waiting for Gambit to think about this choice. There was an explosion in a nearby building. Wolverine looked over and saw a helicopter about the building, the helicopter had a picture of the joker's face on the side.

 

"What's he up to?!" Wolverine began to run over and while running his noticed a chain being pulled between the building and the helicopter. Once the smoke cleared, Wolverine noticed a large container being lifted by the helicopter, standing on top of it was the Joker.

 

"Well well well, Gambit old boy, you stupid useless parasite! Why is he still alive?!" The Joker grabbed his face. "Note to self, find help with a brain! Your lucky Magneto puts up with you, or I would finish you now!" The helicopter began to fly away. Wolverine ran at the building and jumped up and stabbed his claws into the side. He climbed up the side of the building at amazing speeds, he got to the top and jumped at the helicopter, once in the air...the Joker took this chance. "Haha nighty night Claw boy." The Joker pulled out a revolver, and shot Logan in the face. With the force of the bullet, Wolverine's body flew quite a while and landed very close to Gambits feet. The Joker flew away laughing, with Bane in his helicopter, and Wolverine unconcious.

Jade attempted a smile, but she was sure it looked more like a grimace than anything. The first time I find a guy that I like, he has to have some fatal sickness. Well, I'm going to do everything I can for him no matter what. Jade thought grabbing his arm with one hand, while taking the hair pin out of her hair. "Sorry about this." She said right before pricking his arm, where the vein was in the crease of his elbow. Once she placed the hairpin down, she covered the wound with her free hand.

 

Slowly her eyes faded from blue to purple, and the veins in her hand and arms were visible, as a dark blue color. "Theres....A lot." A few inutes later she quickly snatched her hand back blushing. "S-sorry, I started extracting your blood....The posion in your body should be just about gone for now...."

[ArtemisFowl]

Gambit was at the crossroad of life. The ultimate choice. He could save Wolverine, or he could blow him to bits . . . and return to Magneto successful. Return to the mansion . . . successful. "God . . . I'm such a softie." Gambit said knealing down to Logan. He picked him and he was pretty heavy to. He'll probably heal up soon enough. Gambit thought starting to run. Knowing Wolverine he probably rode Cyclops' motorcycle. "I wonder if he'll still be knocked out by time I get there. Maybe I could drive." Gambit thought aloud smiling to himself.

[Kōsuke Ueki]

Okay, I'll admit, I was in a bit of pain, much like when I get a shot, but didn't hurt that much. I'm glad she helped. If she didn't, I would be in danger. I'm glad there's someone in this mansion that could help.

 

Thomas, after feeling a bit of a sting, felt relieved. "Phew, thanks!" he said. "I feel better already! You're awesome!" He gave her a hug and went inside for breakfast. Who'd to think that she would be able to do something of the sort. he thought. He finished and went back to his room. He took out his acoustic guitar and began to play on it.

[Daxter]

((As Wolverine))

Logan began to open his eyes slightly, he couldn't really remeber much. The last thing he could hear was the Joker's laugh. Everything came back at once, he remeber what he had been doing. He remebered the Joker, Gambit, Bane, everthing. His eyes shot open and he realized he was being carried by Gambit. "What happened?" Logan asked as he slowly forced himself out of Gambits arms. "Why didn't you leave with the Joker?" Logan asked, he slightly twisted his neck to the side and heard a crack. He looked at his body and he had a few wounds, but they began to heal themselves. "So what did I miss?" He asked Gambit.

[Hotaru987]

Red slowly spread scross Jade's face when Thomas hugged her. It wasn't something she expected, but she wasn't protesting the jesture either. The hug was quick, but that was enough to jump start her heart. "Y-y-you'e welcome..." She whispered only after realizing he was gone. "H-he's gone..." Jade looked at the hand she used to extract the poison and stood up. "I need to get a sample of the poison. My body isn't accustomed with it..." She said putting her head phones back in, and walked back to her room a light smile on her face as she worked on her cube.

[Kōsuke Ueki]

Thomas began to play his guitar louder and louder to the point where anyone that passes his room would hear it with ease. He then began to sing, and frankly, he was a pretty good singer. It was his own song called "Until Death Do Us Part". He had been practicing for a while on his free time as a hero. He thought of the name when he figured out about the poison. He knew that he will die before he finds a cure. As long as he can be remembered by something is all that matters to him right now.

"Crap!" Jade frowned looking down at her ipod. The batteries were about to go dead, but that shouldn't have been the case. "I know I charged this thing up last night....What the hell?" She sighed and put her ipod in her pocket. "That's just great now I have nothing to listen to-What's that?" She stopped walking when she heard faint music playing. "Did I leave my ipod on?" She questioned taking it out again, "Nope, I turned it off." Jade decided to find out where that noise was coming from, only to stop in front of one of the bedrooms. "Who's room is this? They have a nice voice." She suddenly blushed when she recognized the voice. "This is Thomas' room..."

[Daxter]

((As Joker))

Joker began to approach Magneto's fortess. "Well that was alot easier than I first thought" The Joker thought to himself while landing the helicopter on the airpad. He did a little dance off of the helicopter and laughed. "Well, honey I'm home!" Bane could be heard grnuting from inside. "Well, take our new guest and put him down in my lab." A few henchmen ran into the helichopter and slowly slid out a crate containing Bane. "Boss this guy weighs a ton!" The Joker chuckled. "Well then, guess your gonna have to move fast aern't you, cause if he isn't in my lab in 10 minutes, I will personally make all of you pay!" The Joker began to walk into the building. He entered Magneto's office. "I'm back."

 

Magneto spun his chair around. "Were you successful?" The Joker smiled, more ways than one hahaha".
