IMO, the hardest Pokemon game.

 

The Gym Leaders are on fuxing cocaine, crack, LSD, meth, marijuana and multiple other drugs.

 

Too make things worse, it's hard as hell to train. D:

 

I'm currently training before I go into Rock Tunnel.

 

My team so far is:

Bulbasaur 12

Charmeleon 17

Wartortle 17

Dugtrio 29

Pidgeotto 19

Pikachu 21

 

Yeah...unless I get Charmeleon to like, Lv25, Erika is going to kill me. D:

Because Pidgeotto totally doesn't have STAB Flying-type moves, and they are not super-effective against Grass. And that's why you start out with 3 or 4 Pokemon on your team early-game. Not six.

 

Don't own Red, Blue, OR Yellow, and probably will never. But I'm planning on playing it on an emulator. But then I can abuse savestates. D:

I kinda cheated against Surge. i went to Diglett tunnel and caught a level 29 Dugtrio. I beat Brock after I raised my metapod to be a Butterfree which was my Sp. sweeper for the game until I got Mew. Butterfree also beat Erika. I beat Sabrina with Dugtrio. I beat Misty with Pikachu. I beat Giovanni by luck with Aerodactyl. Blaine was beaten by my snorlax. The game is easy so far.

@Eury: The ability to get Fly is like just next door to Celadon(w/e)

 

If you level Pidgeotto up enough, you could probobly spam Fly the whole time you face off agnest Erika :3

Your Pokemon are underleveled. When I first played Yellow, my Pikachu was like at level 10 by Vermillion City, but after that didn't work, I made it a point to get all of my team to level 30 before beating Lt. Surge.

Not really. I actually found Emerald to be the hardest, because of fucking Late and Tiza, and because it is IMPOSSIBLE to not be underleveled at the Elite Four unless you grind like hell.

 

RBY weren't much better, I felt them to be easier (emulators, ftw?).

Finally got an Ivysaur. I haven't played all that much so my Pokemon aren't as high as they should be. They're all around Lv20-21, except for Dugtrio. He's 30.

anyways which pokemon is better?

Charmander and evoloutions: Good attack pokemon

Bulbasaur and evoloutions:Good at poisoning, sleeping, etc

Squirtle and evoloutions: very defensive

 

if i had to choose( i dont have the game) i would choose squirtle(i prefer higher defense pokemon)

In Yellow, the Squirtle line is probably the best one, then Charmander, then Bulbasaur.

 

In my opinion of course.
