For example MAyuri's powers would be based on ancient egypt, Nemu (who has been distorted into a monster from MAyuri) has horror themed powers, based on things frightening and considered twisted.

 

And her Shikai is a chainsaw.

The Zanpakuto being corrupted as well fits with the theme. I don't think we should force them out of the swords, though. That's Muramasa's thing, and unless we change un-canon as well and have Kouga join the Vasto Lorde as well, I don't see it happening.

Exactly what I was thinking, like, instead of flower pedals for Byakuya, they would be ashes or something to that effect. And Zabimaru's bankai head would be like, drooping eyes or something. It's crazy.

It'd be interesting to throw an Arranacar (maybe a Vizard, too) in there just for fun, but that's imo. Also, what happens with Orihime, Chad, and Uryu...? The Endangered Species, AKA Uryu, could be infected, having a black bow instead of blue. =D xD

Btw, were we goin' to have a song for this one, too, like the last one, or no? And we still do need to come up with a title....Dirge of Souls or Lament of Souls? Both are slightly alike... >>;

Basically the zanpakuto's are corrupted, easy enough.

 

Are they more powerful when corrupted?

 

One of the pawns probbaly would be Kenpaichi. He just wants to fight, he wouldn't particularly care if he was a hollow or not.

 

He'd probbaly like it as hollows get stronger through eating the defeated meaning that the more he kills the stronger he gets, this lets him fight even stronger people, and since he can seal his reitsu even weak foes can be interesting still.

 

It's win-win.

 

Of course since he'd fight so much he'd be the strongest or second strongest pawn.

 

Then he'd probably fight the east-chinese himself just to fight stronger hollows.

As the Zanpakuto shares power with the Shinigami, and the Shinigami is now part-Hollow and thus stronger, the Zanpakuto becomes stronger as well.

 

And a hollowified Kenpachi would be awesome, at least for Part 1. I don't think he'd have that much self-control, though; I have no doubt he would slaughter his way through Seireitei.

No Arracars unless it's a part of Lucien's world. Forget Chad, and Inoue. The only one that matters is Uryu. And his bow would be red, not blue.

Oh, is it Shadius?

 

I have an idea for Uryu.

 

See his hollow powers lets him control reitsu as well as spirit particles, giving his weapons more power.

 

For example he can create a super arrow by making his cero and wrapping it with spirit particles, then the particles squeeze the cero into a arrow shape.

 

However since spirit particles completely destroy hollows he has to be careful, if he uses them he gets a smaller meal.

 

So he basically has become a hunter, a large part of the Soul Society is filled with his traps and fear of him.

 

The only people who go there are those trying to escape bigger hollows, (since it's near suicide to go there) and people who think they can scavenge his food, and of course failed experiments Mayuri sends him.

 

Cause unlike the others who bemoaned the situation, Iruyu rejoiced.

 

The scum of the earth has only become scummier, they now punish themselves in a morbid display of self-serving, uncaring of others, emotions that Uryu always knew they had.

 

In addition they aren't Shinigami anymore, they aren't guardians, they are hollows.

 

They are monsters.

They are prey.

 

Were the Quincies not the hunters of these monsters? Were there powers not specifically designed to face these threats? Yet were they not cut down by the imperialistic guards of 'truth'.

 

So is it not justice, not fitting, not a glorious vengeance, if these guards no longer have the protection of their facade of truth? Is it not a gift from the gods themselves, the revenge of the Quincies struck down unfairly, that these 'death gods' are reduced to the very things he the last Quincy was born to hunt?

 

In a way we must thank the scientist who sacrificed some of the best of us in his twisted name of knowledge. For it is he who allowed me... to allow us our greatest vengance.

 

For that I thank you Mayuri.

It depends on who plays him.

 

I think he'd be more of a knight templar. He is part hollow so he is insane, he knows this.

 

However he thinks that by killing the shinigami he is helping the world, they are hollows now and weren't much better in the first place.

 

He's dangerous, violent, and murderous, however he has the upmost belief he is justified in what he does and that it is what he was meant to do.

 

He'll never ally with you, barely cooperates with MAyuri already. The closest you can do to negotiate is point him to the East-Chinese and hope he decides to try to kill them first.

 

At which case he is still trying to kill you, he is just also killing the bad guys too.

Sometimes the Forces of Light get too hardcore. Beyond the Well Intentioned Extremist, they get blinded by themselves and their ideals, and this extreme becomes tyranny. It's not the Forces of Darkness's fault, but they are laughing their asses off. It doesn't mean that they still won't fight to the death; but they take great satisfaction in that they were right.

 

Usually the Knight Templar's primary step (or objective) is to get rid of that pesky "free will" thing that is the cause of crime and evil. Many Knight Templar types are utterly merciless in dealing with those whom they consider evil, and are prone to consider all crimes to be equal. The lightest offenses are met with Draconian penalties such as full imprisonment, death or brainwashing. Note that the canonical "minor offense with staggeringly out-of-proportion punishment" is jaywalking. If you're in a story like this, don't jaywalk.

 

It's important to note that Knights Templar believe fully that they are on the side of righteousness and draw strength from that, and their opponents are not. Invoking goodness and decency will have no effect, save for making Knights Templar decry your cause as the work of the devil. After all, they are certain their cause is just and noble, and anyone who stands in the way is a deluded fool at best or another guilty soul to be "cleansed" or evildoer to be killed, and doing so is not even Dirty Business (except, sometimes, for how much it makes them suffer, having to hand out all this justice). Trying to reason with one isn't much good either, because many Knight Templar types believe that if you're not with them, you're against them. Indeed, it may take them a while to realize that a person of sense and good will really opposes them; the righteousness of their cause — and their own selves — is self-evident to them. Because of their obsession with being "right," many Knight Templar types are The Fundamentalist by definition. If a Knight Templar is not the antagonist of the story expect to see What The Hell Hero and/or Not So Different come into play at least once.

Or even Rorshach. He doesn't want to be king, he is perfectly aware that as a hollow the best thing to do when he completes his goal is to take his own life.

 

However he thinks the other captains deserve to die first.

I don't think the regular players - that is, anyone but the host - should control canon characters. Unless the host wants that, of course.

 

Uryuu as a Hollow is an interesting thought, very He Who Fights Monsters but an interesting subversion.
