Dad
Ichigo sucks in any "form". So what does it matter if it's Hollow or not?

Nexev
Hollow ichigo has a different personallity. Techniqly they are also different people. Plus that is less expceted then "The most evil person in Gotei XIII actually being evil". AND we can make fun of him.
Umbra
Arguement: I think Urahara would be better for a bad guy -- why? Because everyone trusts and likes the guy! I'm not exactly sure on exactly why yet' date=' but it'd be totally gut renching, in my case. He's got the brains, too....[/quote'] So, he would be the perfect antagonist because he's been nice to pretty much everyone (save Rukia) and has helped the main character several times? And no, everyone doesn't like Urahara; the only reason Soi Fon agreed to Hachi's plan was on the condition that he would seal up Urahara for a month. There might be a reason Urahara waited until the Gotei 13 was incapacitated to show up. [spoiler=Luisen Cuervos, King of the Vasto Lorde]Appearance: Luisen is a giant of a man, standing at least ten feet tall. Even so, his black mane of hair reaches down to his waist. His skin is a dark brown, and his eyes a dark green. His attire consists of a black cloth robe, and a leather belt strapped across his chest. Beneath the robe he wears scale armor that enhance his Hierro. In combat he wields a ball and chain.Resurrecion: "Forgive, Redencíon" A large pair of feathered wings, one white and one black, sprout from Luisen's shoulders. Luisen now gains the Cero Negros, a Cero variety that deals less damage but infects the target with Claridad Negra. In addition, he gains the following special abilities:• Salvacion: Luisen surrounds himself and his target in a circle of light, placing them in a separate sub-dimension of his own. Luisen calls this dimension "Cielo Blanco" and is placed deep within his fortress in Cielo Hueco. Here he is far more powerful than anywhere else, while his enemies are weakened by the fortress' oppressive power. Haz Vacio: A variation of Salvacion. Luisen shoots out a circular beam, which then becomes an area affected by Salvacion and thus a different dimension entirely.• Campana Silenciosa: Luisen shoots out a wave of reiatsu at his opponents, stunning them and knocking them back. This ability can be combined with the Claridad Negra.• Vida Ilimitada: Luisen's ultimate move, where he feeds directly from the black reiryoku created by Claridad Negra. This allows him to regenerate his entire body and reuse his other powers. Occupation: King of the Vasto Lordes and their realm, the "Cielo Hueco".Most known for: the "Claridad Negra" ability / disease that converts souls into Hollows. While they retain their previous abilities, they have no control over them. The disease spreads via reiatsu, and infects the reiryoku itself. This alters the spiritual embodiment of the power; the Shinigami or the Plus, into that of a Hollow. (As such, there is a way to resist the Claridad Negra; use up all of your reiryoku before the disease can spread, and contain the foreign element through use of Kidou.) Luisen is also a scientist, and discovered a way to create Arrancar with great powers and abilities. He created many, and discarded those who were imperfect. Those who remained were dubbed "Children of Luisen" or "Luisenbarn" and were placed at various important places around Cielo Hueco and its sub-realm, the Hueco Mundo.Active in: The take-over and occupation of the East-Chinese Soul Society, which has lasted for four years. The Hollows are tracking down the last few residents, which Mayuri stumble upon through the Garganta. He brings them to Seireitei, unaware that they have contracted the Claridad Negra. Nexev
Soifon is jealous and Urahara is a wanted criminal for helping Vizards. However why does he have to be an arrancar? He would have to be natural and then it's not much of a power growth.
Umbra
However why does he have to be an arrancar? He would have to be natural and then it's not much of a power growth. How could one be a Vasto Lorde without being an Arrancar? How could one be a Vasto Lorde without a power growth? And what do you mean by "natural"? Nexev
Um... you can be a vasto lord by eating people, your mask has nothing to do with it. Arrancars are implied to be stronger then plain hollows but honestly it's debatable. Ressurecion after all, merely gives the arrancar his old powers. Also there are two types of arrancars, the new ones maybe by Aizen's applied pleubtonium or whatever, and there are natural hollows who ripped the mask off themselves. The natural ones are weaker then Aizen's, but we don't want the main antagonist to be another Aizen cocksucker. >.> I hate that guy.... (Aizen) Wait... do I actually know more about this than you? I'm reciting from memory. .... Probbaly I focus on the setting more than people, statistics and stuff more than names.
Umbra
I confused Menos with Arrancars; I apologize. Remove the Resurrecíon label, then, and grant Luisen those powers permanently.
Skuldur
I like Aizen. <=O Also, in turn back the Pendulum; Soifon had a crush on Urahara. @Umbra: Did I use the semi-colon right? =
Zexaeon
No, she didn't. Yoruichi was just teasing her and saying that her detailed Urahara report made it seem like she had a crush on him. Also, with all due respect, everyone, NO villain is going to be unexpected if we all sit here talking about it. You can't really say you want a "surprising" villain if you're going to discuss well ahead of time who that villain is going to be.

Dad
Umbra, I like Luisen. He's far more interesting than most Vasto Lorde I've come across. I'm going to consider him for our main villain, but I want everyone else's comments on Luisen as a villain first.

Nexev
More like incredibly dumb in my option, almost as bad as Gin's bankai. When did he release the sword? That moves not kido or anything? And why does he apperantly have the exact same soul as ichigo. That is what'll be needed to have the same zanpakuto and the same special skill. I think Kubo's lazy. (I have a very good reason for hating the bankai, it's abbility is to change sword lenghts, however as Isshin stated, all captains can do that, they control there spiritual energy to keep the blades as short as they are. Meaning Gin' ultimate trick is just being able to do a standard thing above average. He might've been able to do that without even releasing the sword. Instead his bankai is an exagerated Shikai which is an exagerated thing everyone can do. Dumb.)
Umbra
You do know that Ichigo inherited all of his Shinigami power from Isshin, right? Since there wasn't any from his mother, there's nothing to interfere with it. This is an unprecedented case; a shinigami-human crossbreed. The two of them having the same power makes sense. (And the power that Isshin speaks of is the ability to restrain your sword's size to concentrate its power; Gin's bankai gives him an incredible reiryoku boost and complete control of this ability. Yes, it's an above-average standard ability, but it's so far above average that it can't be compared.)
Nexev
But any dead person can become a shinigami really, or at the very least, family has nothing to do with zanpakuto's, not every Kuicki family menber has Byakua's zanpakuto, if they did it would go against the Zanpakuto being your soul thingey. So this still confuses me. But more importantly Gin's shikai seemed to have done the exact same thing. Why did he need bankai? It may give a boost in strenght and have complete control but it would have been allot cooler if he just practiced and was able to do that even in restrained form. Which IS thoeretically possible. Which IS thoeretically possible.[/quote'] Since we don't know much about Shinigami biology, and the only one we know to actually have a relationship is Byakuya, we don't know exactly how Shinigami are born and placed into families. It's possible they're all adopted when their souls appear in Seireitei, and the most powerful are selected as the "true heirs" of the family. It's possible the "noble families" (Kuchiki, Shihouin, etc.) aren't even related. What we're seeing here is nothing like that. This is just regular sex and pregnancy. Normally, a child would inherit from both their parents, but since only Isshin has Shinigami powers, Ichigo's powers are a perfect clone of his. Had Misaki been a Shinigami-turned-human as well, Ichigo's power would have been different. As for Gin, he did that. He did master the ability to extend his sword further, the ability to unlock more of his spiritual power and the control of this ability. He calls it "Kamishini no Yari" and it is his Bankai. Using it in restrained form, without the Shikai even, would just be ridiculous.
Nexev
But zanpakuto's are soul related, not blood. So what is nature/nuture Nature's win completly? But whatever, I still think Gin's bankai is disappointing. And I think sword control would be just as diffucult as using spiritual pressure to make spells or whatever it is that makes kido work. AKA hard but it shouldn't be impossible. It's not a matter of strength, only practice.
Umbra
But zanpakuto's are soul related' date=' not blood.[/quote'] A Shinigami consists of spiritual particles that mimic the user's past appearance. A Gigai is also made of spiritual particles. Thus, Isshin as we know him consists of spiritual power. The same spiritual power he uses to draw Zangetsu out. For obvious, biological reasons I will not expand on these particles also form most of Ichigo's body. This is probably the reason why Ichigo is so damn freaking powerful and has so much spiritual power. But, as they are the same spiritual particles as Isshin's, they have the same Zanpakuto attached to them. Should Karin become a Shingami, she would use Zangetsu as well. And that would be awesome. Zexaeon
On top of that, Nex, Gin's Bankai extends his blade much further than any normal Zanpakuto would probably reach even if its power was not concentrated, as Isshin put it. The specialty power of Gin's blade isn't just extending its length; Gin can move the damn thing like a whip. It's flexible, bends, turns, and moves as he wills it. That's more than just getting a long sword. His Bankai not only increases the maximum extension of this blade (likely far longer than any other Shinigami captain could produce should they stop concentrating their blade), but he specifically stated that his Bankai's best ability was its speed. It isn't the length or size, but the speed that he can extend and retract it at, making it like a strike of lightning, except faster. Lastly, the only way another Captain can swing around a giant Zanpakuto, if we take Isshin's words into account, would be if they theoretically stopped concentrating their sword's power. This would give them a bigger, longer sword - as big as a skyscraper, according to Isshin - but guess what? It would probably be terribly weak and brittle. Why? Because it's powers aren't being concentrated. Gin's sword gives him the advantage of extension and range without losing power.
