BLEACH-The Thirteen Court Guard Squadrons (Update in News, 16 Major Positions Open)

Ooooh' date=' non-canon? This intrigues me greatly. Bleach would be so much more interesting if it had taken a few alternate turns in its plot development.

[b']Not that I don't like it the way it is. It's just tiresome sometimes.[/b]

I whole heartedly agree with this. It can get repetitive, and tiresome.

Aizen will be our lunch.

He kept pulling s*** out and now he will be s***.

This is my Justice.

We'll discus Aizen's death placement in the role-play as a whole. ;) As such, I think the first thing we should establish is a villain. Not too obvious, but not too much of a secret either.

Ichigo!

Darn.

But in all seriousness, you could probably take a lot of the characters and twist them into a villain without stretching things too far. One idea as a joke was "What if Urahara is actually the real villain? I mean, he made the hyougoku so it wouldn't be too far fetched." again a joke but it could really be used if that's what is desired. A few captains could easily be made the main villain *cough*Gin,Tousen,Byakuya, etc*cough*, excuse my cough. But pretty much anyone could be with enough thought and with Nexev, and others to respond to his rather interesting ideas, around I don't think that will be too hard.

I also like the idea of Mayuri being a villain.

And the thing with Byakuya is, you can't really call it arrogant. xD Because if he does have the power to back it up, it isn't technically arrogance. It is snooby, egotistical, and conceited though.

The funny thing is that all those words could be synonims for arrogant, despite all four words meaning slightly different things.

Ya got me there. ;)

As for the Mayuri business, I would cry. He's (I believe) the smartest of Captains right? His technology combined with his strength would make for an excellent villain. +1

How about Shirosaki?

Maybe we could incorporate some Vasto Lordes into the RP' date=' even though Kubo hasn't revealed much about them.

I don't know much about them myself, but if we can give them a good layout, back-story, and upcoming history in BLEACH than what is already given, it would work.

Well, originally, I was gonna have it to where we start from after Ichigo has saved Rukia, but IIRC, that's after Aizen was established as a villain. So, I think a suitable starting point would be after Kurosaki becomes a Substitue soul reaper. At this point, we could manipulate who the villain is, who gets sent to the Hill to be killed, etc. If we even decide to do that.

I just noticed that I'm the Overseer. =O

Thank you for giving the position to me, I will not fail you and if I do feel free to replace me.

@Topic: I still think Rukia should be sent to the hill, but the events after she goes back to Soul Society should be changed in the RP.

That could work. Like I said, we can edit a lot of stuff since it's non cannon. So, if we sent Rukia to the hill, would that still make Aizen a villain?

Technically no, because we can always have it to where, instead, Byakuya / Mayuri / Yachiru Tousen confuse or elude the others into betraying Rukia as well.

Then' date=' we could create some new Shinigami. One whose power rivals that of Yamamoto, Unohana or Shunsui.

He could be one of the villains so that they would stand a chance if Yama decided to unleash Ryuujin Jakka.

Awesome idea. They could be like, a Shinigami's exact opposite. They could be another Soul Society who's abilities rival that of ours, Captains and all.

Another Soul Society interfering with Rukia's execution sounds fun. It would be Shinigami vs Shinigami, though, which is boring in its own way.

I would rather have a Vasto Lorde crew appearing and Hollowify people. Possibly through some sort of viral sickness?

Hollowfying some of the Captains' date=' perhaps?

That would explain why they would become villains.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm thinking, if it is some kind of infection, and we change the cannon's villain to Mayuri, he could be the creator of the disease, and come across the Soul Society, and take over said Soul Society. Then, use this Soul Society to take over ours.

Eh? Meh?

I would rather see that the other way around. Mayuri discovers some of Urahara's old research, and finds out how to open a Garganta. Through it, he goes to this other Soul Society, and there finds out about the disease. By bringing it back to our Soul Society, he spreads it and causes massive hollowfication.

We should probably incorporate Soul Societies rom other sections of the World.

After all, it's not realistic to think that the Japanese Soul Society presides over the entire world. Ever notice that no one of any other nationality than Japanese ever appears in Bleach?

However, the Quincy follow a German motif, Hollows follow a Spanish one. And Chojiro prefers Western-Style over Eastern.

So there is probably a Soul Society for other parts of the world, too, such as America, France, stuff like that, and their Zanpakutos are called different things.

I imagine that the American / Brittish Soul Society would have "Reapers", and their weapons would like scythes in their unreleased states, due to the common folk lore associated with how souls pass over to the other world in American / English mythology.

European Soul Society can even have a River Styx.

Maybe there isn't a Spanish Soul Society - maybe they succumbed to Soul Corosion long ago and ended up becoming the First Hollows ever.

From what I read, Hollows as we know them were first "discovered" by an English-speaking Soul Society, given their English name and given names. Arrancar were first found by the Spanish and were therefore given Spanish names. Quincies developed their techniques in the German, et cetera. Shinigami are Japanese, with other Soul Societies having something similar but not exactly the same.

Did anyone else just picture a "world war" between different Soul Societies?

As of your post, yes I did. That sounds like it could be incredibly amazing if done right and incredibly chaotic if done wrong. If too many sides are allowed to have people RPing for them I think it could easily get out of hand. On the other hand, if only one or two sides are allowed to have people RPing for them then the owners of the RP would be left with a lot of NPC parts to play. So, I like the idea but it would take a good bit of consideration. But knowing some of the people in this group, even as little as I know most of them, I don't think it would be that hard.
