It all started at Anime North. You simply wanted to go to the Con so you could get a few volumes, a poster or two and to take picture of the legions of cosplayers, but God wouldn't just leave you alone right? Now you're in the middle of God-knows-where with a two people who are out of their mind with explosions going off everywhere! What the hell is happening?! Now all we can do is survive three days before some wierd dimensional bureaucracy brings us back to the real world!

You are an ORDINARY person who was sucked into the chaotic world of an undetermined action anime where your character must survive everything that makes up an action anime: energy blasts, explosions, crazy villains and insane battles that somehow take place in mid air. Your character was pulled from an anime convention by a rift in time and space, which was fixed by the Interdimensional Watchers Union, which will send you back in three days, but can your character survive that long?

PERSONALITY: Mio is a rather outgoing, but stubborn person who appreciates cosplaying as much as any other art. She's rather crafty, with a sense of elegence, but keeps to her cosplayed character when in her costume. She's been enlightened by anime/manga since her toddler years and attends Anime Conventions yearly. Mio, often considered "classy", has a high intelligence and creativity that leads to a highly ranged imagination. However, she can be rather negative and because of her stubborn demeanor, she prefers sticking with her sense of logic rather than anyone elses, even if her logic is full of the impossible.

 

BIOGRAPHY: Born into a rather strict and supersticious family, Mio was thought to be the "horrible icon" that lead her family line into despair. Unsure of the traditions that made her family think that of her, she was put into adoption by the age of four. Traveling from adoption house to adoption house, she finally ended up in America where she met a group of orphaned teenagers. These teens were her influence into anime/manga, which Mio considers the main reason for her chance of happiness. After being released from the house, Mio was able to meet up with these teens and take up cosplaying under their wing. Together, they make up a full cosplay group, and they all go to Anime Conventions together.

PERSONALITY: Quiet, sarcastic, usually thinks things out before jumping into action, protective. Doesn't like it when people pick on his friends, will use his fists if it's necessary, prone to yelling in intense situations. He's kind of lazy when it comes to hard work. He will try to defeat any enemy that tries to get in his way. He feels safe when he is in a crowd, but doesn't mind if he travels alone.

 

BIOGRAPHY: Has lived in Toronto for his entire life. He has a couple of great friends who aren't into Anime, but it doesn't bother him. He has been practicing using swords for a couple of years. He's currently going to school and likes it there. He wanted to go see what was happening at the convention because he happened to be in the neighborhood at the moment. He was now trapped in some strange universe and had survived up until now by sneaking around and he wants to get home to see his friends again. He likes to watch Anime more than reading Manga because he likes to see the action in motion. His favorite anime series are Bleach and Death Note.

HOMETOWN: Tokyo

 

PERSONALITY: Shadow is a kind and caring person, although he rarely ever shows it. He get up in Tokyo and had to deal with a lot of bullies in his time, although he is one of the few people who had ever stood up to them. As a result, he ends up getting into a lot of fights, with the fighting only growing more frequent and brutal when someone is stupid enough to drag one of his friends into the fighting. When he is at home or at a friends house, Shadow is able to relax and show his true nature. He helps around the house, is quiet and studious, and likes to read plenty of books. He sometimes plays video games, and found that he could empathize with one of the characters in the sonic games, a hedgehog named Shadow the Hedgehog in whom he could see many of the same characteristics. The next day, he once again had to face a band of bullies and decided that he'd had enough. He bought a pair of shoes and continued modifying them until the were the exact same as Shadow the Hedgehogs, with the exception that instead of a type of energy allowing them to skates, they utilize a type of oversized ball bearings that allow him to skate around when a sliding panel in the bottom of his shoes are pulled back. This has increased his fighting efficiency and has allowed him to improve in fighting and vanishing afterwards to the point where those who know him, whether friend or foe, have taken to calling him the namesake of the one that he empathized so strongly with.

 

BIOGRAPHY: Shadow was once a shy individual, something he had to overcome starting in junior high when some second and third year thugs starting pushing him and a couple of his friends around. At first he got beat up a lot, but refused to give up and started watching and reading any fighting related stuff that he could get his hands on, learning bits and pieces of many martial arts disciplines and incorporating them into his own unique fighting style. He often dreams about somehow coming into possession of a large apartment building so that he can have lots of free time to devote to book writing and still be able to support himself. His favorite anime and manga include some fighting related ones, as well as other anime such as Eureka 7, Gurren Laggan, Bitter Virgin, Code Geass, and Slayers. He decided to go to Anime North in hopes of finding ideas for writing books, although he is not opposed to kicking some major ass in video games and a little cosplaying as well. As such, he has decided that the whole time that he is there, he will maintain at least something close to what Shadow the Hedgehog is like, except when speaking with someone he knows and trusts, if there is anyone like that there aside from him attending.

PERSONALITY:Emily is kind of.....emo.She is kind of friendly,after you know her.But well,you need to know her first.She isn't very talk active at all,and she doesn't know that much about animes,even tough she does try.She also is video game addicted,and she does them alot.She almost never comes out of her home,except if she needs to go something important.This is why she almost got 0 friends.Dont piss her off,because she will be angry,and fight back.She isn't scared of fighting at all.

PERSONALITY: He thinks logically about everything. He detests idiots. He hates to, but can be deceptive and secretive whenever he needs to be. He has a longing for adventure and challenge. He is never one to take credit for another's actions. He stands up for what he believes in. He is compassionate to those few that are close to him, and doesn't like to see others get hurt. However, he is socially inadequate and can be quite blunt. He's not much of a cosplayer, but he does own various trinkets, such as a silver State Alchemist pocket watch from Fullmetal Alchemist, a replica of Kamina's glasses and a flash drive in the form of the Core Drill, both from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, and a hat in the shape of Mokona Modoki from Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles.

 

BIOGRAPHY: He's half Japanese and he was born in Japan. His mother was a simple housewife, and his father was once a physics professor at a bigwig college, so naturally growing up, Daisuke learned to love science. One day his father showed him some anime things. He read volume after volume of manga and watched episode after episode of anime. He never had a problem between manga and anime, and enjoyed the various differences between the two within a series, reading or watching how the stories played out, and usually read both the manga and watched the anime. His favorite anime is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, where he was captivated by its large scale, and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, where he admired the diversity of all the worlds therein. He spent a lot of his time doing these anime things with his father, who was also interested in it. He convinced his dad to let him to go to Anime North, and he couldn't wait to go.

HOMETOWN: Tokyo and Toronto. Yuuto is born and raised in Japan until he was about to start high school, then his dad got a job in Toronto and the family moved there. However, things did not go as well and his parents broke up (not yet divorced though) and he and his mother went back to Tokyo. He was on a vacatation to see his father, when he happened to notice there was a con there in Toronto. So he went there to check it out.

 

PERSONALITY: Very energic. If someone mentions an anime or manga he will strike up a conversation (more of monologue though) with that person. Likes to show of by telling everything there is to know about a series. He becomes excited when he is talking about otakuism and often wanders into his own world while holding a speech. His speeches are often about how wonderful certain otaku things are, how an otaku or gentleman should be. Yes, he is also an aspiring gentleman, treating ladies with great respect. He dislikes person who looks down on otaku and otakuism, he would probably get into a fight, but lose horribly.

 

BIOGRAPHY: Yuuto was the normal otaku in which ever school he went; silent, few good friends, culture club... He had quite good marks and he is going to university to become a teacher in world history. His dream, however, would be to write a historical light novel series, that would spawn a manga and anime. His favourite series is Seiken no Blacksmith [yep, I'm not going with my own :3] and he adores Cecily, often proclaiming he is the biggest fan of her and the series. But he likes any anime/manga, thinking everyone of them has their own charms.

Because of this he is a jack of all trades; he has ha driver's lincence (Initial D), he plays Shougi (Shion no Ou), he plays Go (Hikaru no Go) and he plays Mahjong (Akagi, Tetsuya). Also, he knows a little about currencies (Spice and Wolf), military aviation (Area 88), aliens (Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu), among other small subjects.

PERSONALITY: Generally quiet, off in his own little world, where he tends to wind up in the mountains with Shania Twain somewhere. He tends to be a little self-righteous and indecisive. When he gets angry, which is kinda hard to do, he usually punches someone in the face (ignoring the fact he usually dresses like Train, including the ammo-less gun, which he keeps tucked against the small of his back). He also has a Sadistic streak, coming up with torture ideas just for the heck of it. Also, when someone he doesn't like ends up in trouble, he tends to wait till the very last possible second to do something. Or if its minor, wait for it to happen, then give a warning.

 

BIOGRAPHY: Grew up an unremarkable childhood. He began to watch anime as a small child, long before he even heard the word "Anime." His first love, in fact, was Mina, AKA: Sailor Venus. He tried reading manga at several points, but lost interest in almost all reading, switching over to his preferred method each time, watching the anime. His favorite anime became Black Cat when he was about 16, and his dream is to work as a government Spy, traveling the world, and reporting back to his superiors to serve his country (and also be able to afford an exact replica of Train's pistol. And bullets.)

Hey, I know that we are to be humans in this rp, but I have two questions.

 

Is it possible for us to get something to use to defend ourselves with from a specific character? If so, I want to do a Prime 2: Echoes Shadow Blaster fusion that my character would get from Shadow the hedgehog along with a pair of shades that can be used for targeting.

 

Also, if this rp does well enough, will we do a spinoff rp for the dimension that our characters would be stuck in? If so, then it would be nice if we could have our characters gain some powers or something like that.
