Foreword:

 

Before we start the RP, I'd like to put some reminder first:

 

1. Remember to Keep Your Posts within the prescribed lengths. 4 LINES PER POST is the required bare minimum, so please follow this vigilantly.

 

2. DO NOT GOD-MOD, Power Play, Meta-Play or anything related to them.

 

3. Firewalling is implemented. Your characters can only know RP elements, other people, or information in the RP when it is made publicly known. Even if you've read the thoughts of other people, your character cannot know them unless otherwise it is made known.

 

4. GameMaster's words are the law.

 

5. NO OOC ONLY POSTS. If you make OOC only posts without a good reason, you'll receive two strikes.

 

6. NPCs are solely owned by the GameMaster. You cannot command them, control their movements, and do anything similar to that. DO NOT KILL NPCs when I don't say so. Also, the level of difficulty of NPCs depends on where we are on the plot.

 

7. Don't kill Players without permission from the player.

 

8. Try to keep a civilized demeanor throughout the RP. If you've got issues and/or complains, post them in the OOC Thread.. Please and thank you. :)

First Arc: The Untold Legacy

Chapter One: Chasing Legends

 

 

"Rinnegan. The legendary Dojutsu believed to have been lost throughout ninja history. Of course, it is bullshit. We all know here that it exist. Only question is, where and who is keeping it?"

 

A man wearing a white Akatsuki cloak with red clouds decorated with several chains hanging from left to right. There's also a massive chain hanging from underneath the cloak, touching the ground. Half his face is covered with ninja cloth, covering his nose all the way down. His eyes are covered with a white blinder that has seals around them. His hair is covered in black bandages, as is his hands and presumably his entire body. The bandages have white markings resembling a seal of sorts. He spoke with such authority towards the rest of the Akatsuki members present.

 

"My sources, have indicated that a man named Gyosei, an information broker from the Hidden Sound Village, knows about the whereabouts of this Dojutsu. I want you to find him. There are three possible locations," the man brought out a hand from within his sleeve. His right arm has a thin silver chain spiraling from deep within his sleeves, all the way towards his wrist. Each finger also has a thinner silver chain wrapped around them. Within his palms, a scroll of sorts can be seen. He opened the scroll with his left hand, which is similarly decorated with chains, "Amegakure, Konohagakure, and Kirigakure are the three most likely places Gyosei is at. I want two of you to go to each location."

 

The man quickly withdrew his hands back to his sleeves and turned towards a massive statue behind him.

 

Shuuhei suddenly stepped out of the shadows, kneeling before the man. He bowed down low enough that his face nearly touched the ground.

 

"Zenosuke-dono, what if someone gets in our way?" Shuuhei asked with respect.

 

Zenosuke turned around, looking at Shuuhei. From within his concealed visage, he let out a maddened smile. Even from within his concealed eyes, one could feel such malice and sadism reeking out. He approached Shuuhei casually, pulling him up with one hand.

 

"If anyone gets in your way," He hurled Shuuhei with one hand towards the back of the room, surprising the Akatsuki member, "Kill them. Gut them. Erase their existence. I don't care. Just accomplish this mission. The Rinnegan will be our key to obtaining the true peace!"

 

His words echoed throughout their underground hideout. The very walls seemed to ring with his incredibly authority. Shuuhei stood up slowly, gripping his knee with one hand. He approached Zenosuke again, looking calm. He then faced the rest of the Akatsuki, eyeing them casually, his arms crossed.

 

"So, fellow members, allow me to give the directions from here on out." He remarked, completely unaffected by what Zenosuke did to him earlier.

 

"Shado and Daku, you're heading towards Kirigakure."

 

"Rekkin and Garanth, you're heading towards Konohagakure."

 

"Matsushita-san, you're going with me towards Amegakure."

 

Zenosuke stared as Shuuhei gave out the assignments. He let out a satisfied grunt before turning back. Shuuhei shook his head as he saw the leader turn his back, and motioned for everyone to exit the base. If he had it his way, he would've wanted to do the mission stealthily. He didn't like the idea of slaughtering needlessly. Then again, he was given his order, an order he must follow no matter what. He pulled out a scroll from his pocket, and opened it on the ground. There were several markings around the scroll, and a circular space in the middle. Shuuhei did a handful of seals and called Zenosuke over. The Akatsuki leader made his way casually then reached out with his hands. There was blood lining around the thumb, which Shuuhei used to smear the empty circular space on the face of the scroll.

 

"Summoning: Impure Demon Gate Technique" Shuuhei muttered.

 

The scroll burst into smoke, and turned into three sets of purple portals. From within the portals. a large, black gate suddenly emerged. After a few moments, three black gates appeared before them, all with violet markings around the side similar to the markings Zenosuke have around his bandaged arms. Shuuhei bowed at Zenosuke as he turned and opened the gate towards Amegakure.

 

"Listen up. These gates can only bring us near the Hidden Villages, not in the villages themselves. Zenosuke-dono has placed beacons around the villages for these gates to appear," He rounded towards Matsushita, "Follow me through when you're ready. I'll wait on the other side."

 

With that, Shuuhei entered his demon gate, arriving on a patch of ground a few distance away from Amegakure's rainy environment. He sat down and waited for Matsushita to follow him.

State in your post what you were doing while the meeting was being held until the part where you entered the portal, and appeared on the outskirt of the village you were assigned on. The enemies will be NPCs I will send after your characters and mine.

 

Also, Zenosuke is the Akatsuki Leader. He is also an NPC, and will play a very crucial role in the RP. His skills are mostly customized, and will be explained in the RP if he uses them.

 

Summoning: Impure Demon Gate Technique: A technique that uses Zenosuke's seals to call forth demon gates. The demon gates require that beacons be placed on places where the exit will appear. Beacons must be placed in locations far from buildings. The technique cannot be used for 3 posts after used.

 

Note**: Shuuhei can initiate the technique through the use of special ninja scrolls handed to him by Zenosuke. He must use Zenosuke's blood to use the technique.

Rekkin -- possibly the only female Akatsuki member -- was laying down lazily at a nearby rock in the Akatsuki hideout, just dozing off while the meeting was being held. She had recently had a bottle of the finest Sake, stolen of course, and was kind of having a bad hangover. However, she heard every detail from Zenonsuke-dono's speech earlier.

 

"Man, what a drag. He's been goin' on and on about that Rinnegan stuff all week... can't a woman get some well-earned rest? I mean really..."

 

She groaned out the last few words, rubbing her temples for awhile as she tried to wake herself up. She sat up then, noticing how Shuuhei was tossed like a mere puppet by Zenonsuke-dono's massive power. His words of authority began echoing in her already sensitive head, and she brought her hands to her head, holding her ears.

 

"Cut the screamin', Zenonsuke-dono! Seriously, you tryin' to pop a fellow Akatsuki's head 'ere?!" she yelled out, her mind trying to fight the alcoholic pain as she finally managed to shrug it off for the time being. She stood up then as she was being called out by Shuuhei, looking over at Garanth Diaga, her so-to-be-called partner in this mission.

 

Hoh? The Dragon Style user, eh? Well, I don't mind a bit of competition, but I don't really need a "partner" in this. Konohagakure will feel my pain... as I slice their throats off and stab their hearts! she thought for herself, a manical smirk appearing on her thin, crimson lips, while her two eyes glowed with intensive longing for death and pain to be caused by her hands.

 

She noted how Zenonsuke-dono used a Summonin Jutsu, calling upon three gate-shaped rock structures. The, black portals erupted from within the "frames" of the gate. Rekkin only nodded once, before walking slowly towards her gate. "Don't worry, Zenonsuke-dono. I'll take care of the mission. Leave this to us and Garanth." she said, turning her head slightly to her leader, her vicious smirk still being on her lips, before entering the portal, exiting at the beacon placed at the outskirts near the Konohagakure village. "Hmph. All I need to do now...... is wait!" she said, sitting down and waiting for Garanth to follow through the portal.

Shado was standing nearby as he waited through the meeting, Daku standing behind him holding his hands behind hiks back as he waited. "man he's really kept going on about the Rinnegan, ohwell guess I shouldn't judge him on that if it's as powerful as he thinks" Shado thinks to himself as he hears the meeting perfectly though appears to be sleeping. Daku watches Shuuhei then flinches slightly as he was thrown before watching Shuuhei as he walks back, not even affected by the yell coming from Zenosuke. Shado Opens his eyes at this the yell heard quite clearly and disrupts him at the moment as he then moves back further into the shadows now unseen. Shado and Daku both watch as the Gates were summoned, Shado walking past Zenonsuke with Daku behind him. Shado then turns back before he goes through the gate as he opens it slightly, "Zenonsuke-dono we will be back either with Gyosei or direct information we have found.." he says then opening the gate and walking through Daku right behind him. Shado lands on the mountains just behind Kirigakure seeing them completely, Daku landing next to him as they look at the village. "no doubt they will notice us soon, comeon Daku" Shado says then jumping down a bit of the mountain before starting to run concentrating chakra so he will not fall, Daku doing the same running right behind him.

From the nearby trees around the outskirts of Kirigakure, a pair of glowing white eyes suddenly appeared. The thick mist around the nearby woods just outside Kirigakure seemed to ebb and flow like the waves, becoming thicker then thinner, then thicker again, the cycle repeating every few seconds. The pair of eyes trailed at Shado and Daku as they started to run.

 

"What's this? Those cloaks looked familiar." a misty voice hissed from the pair of glowing white eyes.

 

Another pair of white eyes appeared beside the first pair. This one looked more sinister, and exhumes an aura of greater malice.

 

"Akatsuki. Why are they here?" the other pair groaned.

 

"Shall we welcome them?"

 

"In a while. Let us see how deep the rabbit hole goes."

 

The two pair of eyes melded back into the misty shadows, disappearing completely as the mist started to thicken again. The clouds started to converge once again, eclipsing the Sun, and making the surrounding woods darker, the mist more sinister and menacing. From somewhere near Shado and Daku, a few crows suddenly flew away from the trees, as if running from something.

A drunkard suddenly passed by Rekkin as she appeared from the portal. The drunken man looked like in his early thirties, and is wearing casual clothes. His eyes were droopy and there were signs that he has been in a brawl recently, as proven by his shabby, nearly torn shirt, and rather dirty face. He slumped on a nearby tree, trying to stand up by supporting his weight by placing an arm against a nearby tree directly in front of Rekkin.

 

"Zat damn fool thinkz he'z zo cool. Meh. I'm dint zcrew up zo badly." He groggily turned his head towards Rekkin, whom he just noticed.

 

He lumbered toward her and fell down on the ground in sitting position. He pulled out a bottle of wine from his back and started to drink again. There was a speck of dirt around his cheek from where he was lying on.

 

"You don't look like you're from around here. Want to drink? Ziz one iz incredibly ztrong for an alcohol." He muttered, offering the bottle towards Rekkin, then noticing the demon gate behind her. "Zat iz the mozt wicked-dez door I've ever zeen."

 

He drank some more, and waited for Rekkin to respond to his ramblings.

"Great......" Rekkin muttered slowly as she noticed the drunkard near her, her eyes rolling slightly and her arms being crossed over her chest. The first thing that MUST happen to me once I get 'ere is to meet a drunk man. Damn you, Zenonsuke-Dono... she cursed in her mind, before she turned to the man again, a slight smirk crossing her face.

 

"Strong, you say, eh? Well I've had stronger things than that, I can tell you. I can smell it from here, but it's not as strong as the things I've drunk." she said with a slight boasting tune to her voice. She noted how he commented the portal behind her, and could not help herself but to giggle at the man's ignorance.

 

"Oh that, it's nothing. It's just a portal, y'know. I won't tell you where it leads, however. Well well, I am gonna leave now... unless there is something you possess which I need..."

 

She smirked as she began standing upwards, her silk cloth swaying in the air as she moved upwards, and cracked her knuckles. In that moment, she grabbed the drunk man by the collar of his neck, and pulled him upwards briefly, and while he was hanging in mid-air, she delivered a palm strike to his chest, sending him backwards to the tree he had supported himself to earlier. Following up on that, she pulled out a container from her pants, tossing it to the ground as the glass smashed on impact, revealing the content; sand.

 

"Suna Shuriken!" she made a few hand seals, before she whipped her hand upwards, the sand moving in a quick whip-movement, before forming bullets of sand that dashed towards the drunk man, who had collided with the tree by now. She made a few more hand seals, while taking a slow inhale. "Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu!" she began spitting fireballs towards the sand bullets, as they merged, the fire hardening the sand. "Glass Style Ninjutsu; Glass Kunai!" the sand formed into several Kunai made of shining glass -- six in total -- as they nailed the man to the wall by inches of his clothing. She panted a bit, as her Kekkei Genkai Jutsu had exhausted her a bit, but she managed to smirk and moved up to the man, grabbing his chin forcefully and making him look up at her.

 

"Now now... answer my questions, and I MAY let you live." she giggled sadistically. "You're from Konohagakure, aren't you? In that case, let me ask you if you know a person named Gyosei."

 

[spoiler=OOC]Was a bit confused when it said that the man appeared FROM the portal. Hopefully Rekkin hasn't screwed up or anything by attacking one of the Akatsuki's allies or something. XD

 

[ANBU]

Shado then launches himself off the mountain as they neared the bottom, landing on a tree quite luckily due to not being able to see much. Daku jumps behind Shado landing on the ground underneath the tree rolling slightly and standing. "It seems that it might be a bit tricky from here considering how thick the mist is at the moment" Shado says to Daku as he jumps down from the tree. Daku looks at Shado as he lands "lets just find this guy quickly so we can go, i dont like the mist" he says softly. Shado then starts running Daku right behind him as they narrowly dodge the trees as they continue towards Kirigakure. "do you think they know we're here?" Daku asks, Shado then replying "most likely, ohwell it might give us some practice". They then jump into a tree and jump again landing on the tree just at the edge of the forest then jumping down as they look at the nearby buildings. Shado then looks towards Daku "I think you've trained enough to handle one or two Kirigakure nin if needed, if you need help throw this into something noticable and blow a hole..." Shado says hand a kunai with an explosive tag tied to it to Daku before jumping down and running again heading towards the High Circular Buildings just at the edge of the forest. Daku puts the explosive Kunai away in his cloak then running down towards the smaller buildings, hoping to find this guy and get out without any trouble.

It was my mistake. Typo. lol. It was supposed to be "as she appeared from the portal". In any case, let me fix that after this post. I'm glad you didn't kill that guy.

The man who was pinned down looked scared. His eyes looked empty though, as he stared at Rekkin. The wind blew for a while, sending a slight gust towards the two of them. The trees swayed slightly, the leaves falling down. As one of the leaves fell down to the man's forehead, a puff of smoke covered his body. As the smoke cleared immediately, a huge number of leaves in the form of the man wearing his tattered clothing was in place.

 

"Imprezzive. I thought I waz juzt drunk, but no. You really are good." the man said, appearing on a tree to the right of Rekkin. He was still holding his bottle of wine. However, his upper torso was naked, revealing a slightly buffed body and a set of six packs. There was a massive scar across his left shoulder, like it was burned.

 

"Where iz my mannerz? I am Uchiha Tozhiro, leader of Konohagakure'z intelligenze divizion. And also," He drank some more wine from his bottle, before disappearing from his position, reappearing behind Rekkin almost too quickly, making it impossible to follow his movements, "I am alzo a ninja."

 

He then disappeared from his spot in a blur once again, reappearing on top of the demon gate. He drank another mouthful of wine, then stared at the gate below. There was a puzzled yet happy look on his face, like he was in euphoria.

 

"Thiz iz one nize gate, izn't it? And you were fanzy clothez. It lookz familiar though. You look like thoze Akatzuki people." Toshiro mumbled, falling down on his knees from too much alcohol. He suddenly disappeared again in a blur, reappearing on the tree he initially stood on. "Now. What do you want to do? You want to play with yourz truly?"

From within the mist, two pairs of eyes reappeared again, looking more sinister as they observed Shado and Daku approached a structure outside Kirigakure. The pair of eyes suddenly flickered out of existence, and in place were two pair of bandaged arms. They performed a set number of seals before disappearing again.

 

"Water Release: Water Fang Bullet Technique." one of the two unknown figure whispered.

 

From the circular structure, massive spiraling spikes of water started to form and head towards Shado and Daku. It turns out that one of the circular structures was in fact a water catchment building. The spikes spiraled out of the tank and homed in on the two missing-nin. The pair of glowing eyes started to appear once again, somewhere along a nearby tree. They both looked menacing.

 

"Suijiro-nii san, why do you think Akatsuki would come here now?" one of the eyes hissed silently.

 

"Tojiro, when Akatsuki are nearby, expect nothing good." the other one groaned. His eyes were more menacing and looked more experienced than his little brother.

 

Both of them watched closely, trying to study how the two missing nin would react to their attacks. Surely, that water fang bullet should be easy enough to evade with the proper techniques. What type of ninjas are you? Tojiro thought to himself, keeping Suijiro and his presence hidden from the two missing nin.

Rekkin was impressed as the Substitution-like Jutsu the man had just used, disappearing and reappearing in the area around her. She had a hard time keeping up with the man and his movements, but she managed to get what he said at least.

 

"You're a clever one... Uchiha." she said, spitting on the ground slightly. "Yes. I happen to be one of the Akatsuki. My name is simply Rekkin, a child from a Sunagakure consumed in war and struggle, killing and bloodshed. I was a child of war. Everyone were struggling and dying around me, and so I realized that this world only has one purpose... killing." she whipped her hand, making the glass Kunai stuck to the tree turn into sand, and she made the sand currents wrap around the Uchiha's neck and wrists, clenching him tightly.

 

I must be careful. she thought for herself, keeping him in place as she went closer up to him to hopefully be able to interrogate him. He is, after all, one of the Uchiha, thus, he has the infamous Sharingan. And who knows if he has Mangekyo or not, and what possible powers it could contain. I must act quickly, and if he shows the slightest sign of resisting... kill him.

 

She kept walking up to him, keeping an intense and constant look at his movements as she prepared to snap his neck with the "snake" made of sand curled around his throat, squeezing it enough to make it difficult for him to breath, but not hard enough to really suffocate him. She then stood right in front of him, and smirked down at him.

 

"Now then... a little co-operation, perhaps? Where. Is. Gyosei?"

[The Dragon Duelist]

Garanth walked out of the portal leading to Konoha. He was now standing beside Rekki not have even made a sound as he looked at her speaking with his calm voice. "Are you done here? Find out what we need to know so we do not draw attention to ourselves." He had his sleeves put together so his hands could not be seen and his feet were also not visible due to the fact that his robe was longer then most. He sighed as he turned around making sure that nobody was around them to see what was going on. He thought to himself quietly as he focused back on the two. I hope she does not get out found out.. I really don't feel like for fighting right now.

 

He sighed as he pulled his sleeves apart throwing a kunai at a tree where he thought he heard something. He saw that it was a bird in it's nest. "Hmph.. it was nothing." He turned back around focusing on the mission.

Toshiro looked at Rekkin casually, as if expecting her moves. He even looked unaffected by the arrival of another Akatsuki member, and instead drank another bottle of wine, trying hard to gulp down with the sand thing around his neck. He smiled at Rekkin, looking extremely drunk.

 

"Zis iz indeed something interezting. Zand, fire, and zat interezting technique that looked like glazz," Toshiro looked over at Garanth, "And I prezume zat one iz your friend. He lookz ztrong too."

 

Toshiro coughed a bit, then stared back at Rekkin. There was something in his black eyes, something peculiar, but nonetheless it looked normal.

 

"Alright. Gyozei? Who'z that? Iz he zome zort of information broker? I don't know," Toshiro muttered, then his face became more serious, "What gives you the idea that I'll say anything you want me to say? Gyosei huh? As if."

 

The sand around him suddenly started to distort, as if being sucked into something. Toshiro's body also starts to distort into what looked like a black hole in his chest. The distortion started to suck in even the tree below him. Every thing around him is starting to get sucked into the vortex.

 

Toshiro smiled at the two Akatsuki, his face being distorted by the vortex. His black eyes seemed to widen with madness, now completely distorted as the dimensional vortex consumed him. Another moment, and the entire body was sucked in, disappearing completely.

 

"What is it that you need from that information broker? Whenever Akatsuki are around, bad things happen." Toshiro's voice echoed all throughout the area, as if he was everywhere.

[ANBU]

Shado pushes Daku out of the way with his foot then seeing that he couldn't avoid it now without using his Kekkei Genkei he used Subsitution jutsu. Daku stands looking around as the Water fang Bullet hit the wood from the subsitution then the side of the mountain. Shado then jumps down nearby Daku as he looks into the trees. "It seems that they have took the offensive, well I just can't let them go on now, afterall I wasn't going to kill anyone this time" Shado says coldly as he jumps into the air. Daku watches Shado following him from on the ground as Shado takes off his AKatsuki cloak and puts a mask on which looks very similar to that of an ANBU. Daku then also takes off his cloak and pulls up the black mask that was around his neck so it covers his mouth and nose as their cloaks land on the branch of a tree. Shado then holds his hands down by the sheathe, watching for a trace of movement. "Now since you attacked me I suggest you come out from your hiding spot and fight fair, or I might have to destroy something your choice" Shado then said coldly angry about almost being hit with the Water Fang Bullet. Daku looks around crouched down slightly as he waits for the nin to show themselves at which he would attack alongside his older brother.

Rekkin gasped slightly as Toshiro's body began disorting into thin air, along with her sand restrainments, sucking up into what seemed to be a miniature black hole, before both Toshiro and the sand were completely vanished. She smirked a bit, knowing this kind of technique from various places she had been to.

 

"Oh, so you're using a Space-Time Travel Jutsu now, eh? Pretty impressive, for an Uchiha." she remarked, looking all around her and Garanth as she heard the Uchiha's voice all over the place. "Or is it possibly one of your Sharingan abilities? Yes, Uchiha. I know about your clan, and the Sharingan's ocular powers. We Akatsuki are quite well-informed on that part. But this... technique of yours is unlike any Space-Time Jutsu I've seen." she looked at Garanth momentarily, smirking a bit.

 

"I will stay here, in case he is hiding, Garanth. You go in any other direction and see if you can find him. If he is hiding, or merely transported himself somewhere else remains to be seen, so I want to make sure he is still here, and not just hiding behind some tree branches far away."

 

Her words were lowered into a demanding whisper, looking dead seriously at him. She knew that Space-Time Travel Jutsus either took the user a great distance away, or let them hide in another parallel universe. Or at least, that's what she had read about when she was a child and still attaining to the Shinobi Academy in Sunagakure.

The mist ebbed once again becoming thinner. From somewhere a few distance away from Shado and Daku, two similar looking ninjas appeared. Their faces are covered in a peculiar looking mask. The mask has no ornamets nor designs, and is just a plain white mask with two holes. The insignia of Kirigakure is plastered on the forehead section. Both Ninjas are also covered in a blue coat, hiding their head in a hood. One of them, the one with the more experienced set of eyes moved forward, gazing at the Shado.

 

"Akatsuki. You're greatly mistaken if you think you can just swing by here and cause havoc to my town. Whatever it is you're after, its not here. Leave now or else," Suijiro motioned towards the mist, which suddenly ebbed once again, growing thicker, "We can also settle this the hard way."

 

The mist has by now covered the area again, thicker and denser than earlier. From somewhere behind Shado, leaves rustle on the trees, as if signaling something. Soon a kunai was heading towards him. It was no ordinary kunai, as there was a red tag tied to the handle. It was an exploding tag, and it was heading straight towards Shado. As it reached mid-way, it split into two kunai, another one with an exploding tag headed towards Daku.

 

"Water Release: Water Gun Technique!" Tojiro's voice echoed from somewhere to the left of Shado.

 

A Massive torrent of concentrated water burst from Tojiro's mouth, heading towards Daku at high speed. A loud cracking sound was heard as it crashed through a nearby tree, continuing towards its target.

 

"Ice Release: Freezing Splash Technique!" Suijiro's voice sounded off from the right of Shado.

 

The mist suddenly ebbed thinner, revealing Suijiro and Tojiro opposite each other, with Shado and Daku in the middle. The water gun that Tojiro has released was now starting to freeze, completely becoming an ice wave. It broke into a multitude of pointy shards that rained down on Shado and Daku from every conceivable angle.

 

Suijiro appeared behind Tojiro, observing how the two missing-nin will react.

Ice Release: Freezing Splash Technique: This is a two-way combination technique only the twins Suijiro and Tojiro can do. The attack requires the use of Tojiro's Water Gun technique, and the mist at its thickest ebb. Suijiro then activates his Ice Recomposition abilities to cause the mist around them to fuse with the Water Gun, transforming it into ice, and shattering it in the process, producing icicles. The icicles then attack the target(s) from every angle it could possible attack from.

"Space-Time techniques? Don't bother. I don't use the techniques Shuuto-dono uses himself. Instead," Toshiro's head appeared from Rekkin's abdomen, looking rather cheery, "Space-time revolves around manipulating the immediate space around the user. Mine is, in a word, intrusive. Why'd you think I'm the leader of the intelligence division?"

 

Toshiro's head reverted back into Rekkin's abdomen, disappearing as if nothing happened. He then appeared on the ground directly in front of Rekkin and Garanth. He was a little far, but still within sight. He cupped his hands around this mouth.

 

"Akatsuki, I'm going to tell you this only once. Go home. You won't find anything here about Gyosei. Don't throw away your life for something stupid," Toshiro casually moved forward, then disappearing from his spot, only to reappear behind Rekkin, whispering in her ears, "The Rinnegan is nothing more than a myth."

 

He then disappeared and reappeared once again on his initial position, a few meters away from Rekkin and Garanth. He gave them a quick wink.

 

"I know what you're looking for. Don't chase legends, missing-nin. They're not worth it." Toshiro remarked.

[spoiler=OOC]Say, ryuujin, can one's character be skilled at a martial arts, even if it's not a Taijutsu user? Cuz even Ninjutsu must have some extent of self-defense in melee combat, if that would be neccesary, right? In that case, I should of added that Rekkin is kind of a Wushu practitioner.

 

 

Rekkin was grossed out as the Uchiha's head appeared out of her abdomen, gawking slightly at the sight of the cheerful face. If his Space-Time Ninjutsu was intrusive, it could mean that he was able to mess her up from the inside-out, but she didn't know the extent of his Jutsu's power, so she made no hasty decisions.

 

"Listen, ol' freak. You're not the one who gives the orders to us. We're the Akatsuki, ya hear? We won't bow down to lower-associated scum like yourself, Ero-Uchiha! If you want a fight with the Akatsuki, you got one, cuz I am gonna bring it to ya!"

 

She then raised her right leg a bit, so the tip of her sandal-covered toes touched the kneepad of her left leg, while preparing a rather ferocious-looking battle stance. "Even if I happen to be a Ninjutsu User, I am still pretty skilled in melee. You should be aware of me." she warned Toshiro, before she used her left leg as a propelling force, leaping herself forwards to the Konoha ninja. She began to unleash a series of flurring kicks towards her opponents, and sometimes switching to heel drops and direct gut kicks to hopefully catch Toshiro off-guard.

 

"Hehahahaha! What's the matter?! C'mon! C'mon! C'mon, c'mon, c'mon!" she chanted wickedly while still attacking Toshiro.

You can be skilled in hand to hand, but if you're pitted against a Taijutsu user, don't expect to land a serious blunt force trauma against strength types, nor land a clean attack against a speed type. Non-taijutsu fighters can only land an efficient melee hit against other ninjutsu types or genjutsu types, and kekkei genkai users that don't have taijutsu as their secondary type. Also, it should be noted that to go hand to hand against a sword-type when not a taijutsu fighter is suicidal. :)

 

 

Toshiro's eyes widened when he saw Rekkin unleash a flurry of kicks at him. There was variety in her attacks, something the Konoha ninja was rather surprised of. He was calculating if she was a taijutsu based fighter or another type. He gambled with his instincts, and curled his hand into a fist, landing a punch straight on with one of Rekkin's kicks.

 

"You're not a taijutsu fighter, are you? This level of melee," Toshiro shoved her away with his other palm, then backflipping in the air, "I could easily match it even without trying. Now, I've already given you two quiet the leeway to leave. But it seems you really intend to chase something that doesn't even exist. Very well, I'll give in to your lures."

 

Toshiro grasped both his palms together, then palmed the earth.

 

"Wood Release: Woodland Slam Technique!" Toshiro shouted.

 

From the nearby trees around them, massive pillar of wood shot out from the trunk, going towards Rekkin and Garanth. Because there was practically a lot of trees around them, the number of pillars were also exponentially increased, heading straight at the two from nearly all directions. Toshiro then formed several seals while the pillars are heading towards them.

 

"Wood Release: Wood Locking Wall Technique!" Toshiro exclaimed.

 

Roots from the ground started to rise up, and interlock with each other, then forming into a wooden dome around him, completely shutting him out.

Wood Release: Woodland Slam Technique: Toshiro can only use this when there's at least one tree in the vicinity. He causes pillars of wood to erupt from the trunk of the trees, slamming into his opponents. The more trees there are in the vicinity, the greater the number of the pillars he can release. The attack doesn't stop as long as Toshiro maintains his ground. If he is disturbed or moves away from the ground, the attack is halted.

Rekkin looked around wildly as she saw numerous, thick tree blocks emerge from the numerous tree's trunks, charging at them with a wild speed. She acted upon instinct, cancelling her flurry of melee attacks when Toshiro shoved her away, and then leaped up in mid-air, dodging a few of the tree "pillars" charging at her and Garanth. She noted from the corner of her eye, that Toshiro had also used a Wood Locking Wall Jutsu, sealing him inside a dome of wooden roots, to protect him from either the attack itself, or other attacks that would disturb his technique.

 

"Hmm, this could be bothersome. I have to keep moving, or else these wood pillars will crush me! Damn, I can't use my Glass Wall Jutsu, or else I'd be able to shield myself from the attack as well. However... as everyone knows, no matter if it's Jutsu or not... wood is always burnable."

 

Telling herself this, Rekkin smirked down at the dome where Toshiro had taken refuge, and quickly formed a few handseals before holding her index and middle finger in front of her mouth.

 

"Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!"

 

She began blowing between her fingers, and soon, a huge fireball formed in front of her, which was sent like a meteor down towards the wooden dome where the Uchiha ninja was. "Eat this! I'll burn you alive!" cackled Rekkin, as she saw the Fire Jutsu collide with the wooden dome.

Shado then smiles slightly as he spins his hand behind his back and throws two shuriken which hit the kunais and make them veer off course just slightly missing the two Akatsuki. Daku watches as the ice forms around them as Shards. Shado then laughs slightly as he jumps towards the spikes using Chidori and Chidori Nagashi in combination so that he broke through the spikes then continuing on towards Tojiro still in the air. Daku the uses his lightning Release armor and jumps back a couple of steps some of the shards hitting him in the back as he bleeds slightly then looking at Suijiro before starting to run in the opposite direction of Shado. Shado looks back and sees that the shards hit then pulling his hand down sending the chidori into the ground stopping himself. He looks at the two as he then takes of the mask throwing it to his side where it hits the ground, his genjutsu making it impossible to tell if there was even a face behind the mask as the genjutsu makes to red eyes appear wear his normal eyes would have been. "You hit Daku?, You Idiots, now lets see if you two can keep up after all i'm not going to let you keep hitting my little brother like that!" Shado says angrily. Shado then feeds electricity through himself activating the abilities of his Kekkei Genkei to move at Lightning Speed. Shado then rushes towards the two nin as he activates his chidori once again this time moving much faster and still on his feet, his zig-zag style pattern making it almost impossible to see which he is aiming for at the speed he moves. Daku watches his brother then running fowards waiting for one of the two to try to escape as he ducks ready to grab them for a Liger Bomb, "If those two get close enough I can get rid of the ice guy, whichever one he is".

Toshiro felt the flames licking the outside of his barrier. The heat was already passing the limit of what the wooden dome can handle. The pillars assaulting the two Akatsuki continued to attack endlessly, as if Toshiro intended to maintain the technique through the fire. However, on his face, there was a shortage of panic, and a surplus of confindence. He merely smirked at what Rekkin was trying to do.

 

"This level of flame jutsu. Hmmm. I'm afraid I'd have to use it." Toshiro said to himself as the wood around him started to burn completely.

 

"Guardian's Eyes: Dimension Vortex Technique!" Toshiro muttered.

 

His black eyes started to turn reddish, forming the mangekyo sharingan. His pupils started to rotate in a clockwise manner, spinning faster and faster. The area around Toshiro starts to get sucked in a vortex, distorting space itself. Everything, including the flames and the woods got sucked in, leaving the land desolated and barren. The vortex stopped as Toshiro vanished from thin air.

 

"You really should stop your foolish assault here." Toshiro's voice echoed from everywhere.

 

Suddenly, the space around Rekkin's left hand started to distort, a head appearing from it. It was Toshiro. He climbed out of the distorted hole, and grabbed Rekkin's shoulders while his lower body remained inside the vortex. He then looked in Rekkin's eyes, forcing her head to turn towards him.

 

"Now, shall I plunge you deeper into the horrors of my Eyes?" Toshiro asked, his mangekyo sharingan, now rotating counter-clockwise.

Guardian's Eyes: Dimension Vortex Technique: Toshiro activates his mangekyo sharingan, causing it to rotate in a clockwise direction. A massive rip in space forms into a vortex, sucking in everything around it. Techniques are especially susceptive to the gravitational pull of the vortex, eating them up first. Toshiro can also use the vortex to phase himself out and reappear where traces of chakra is present. This technique causes tremendous load on Toshiro's body, and will render any use of similar techniques useless for the next 3 posts.

Suijiro was caught off guard. He didn't anticipated the ninjas to be able to move faster than he could catch up. Tojiro's eyes betrayed his fear, as he looked intensely surprised too. The water around them swirled in a circular manner, the mist ebbing once again, growing thicker by the moment. This gave Suijiro some level of confidence, that is until the mist suddenly subsided.

 

"What the-----" Suijiro commented but he was cut off when something heavy hit his face.

 

He hit a nearby tree with such force that even the tree was shattered. The puddle of water rippled from the force of the shockwave that resulted from the attack. Tojiro spun around, trying to see who did the attack. To his surprise, he saw Daku in front of him.

 

From somewhere above the ruined water containment structure, a dark figure appeared. He's wrapped with black bandages from feet to the head, making him look like a mummy. His eyes were covered with a forehead protector sporting what looked like a blank piece of metal. This signified that he has no affiliation. He groaned loudly.

 

"Akatsuki. Are you looking for a man named Gyosei?" the figure spoke mistily, sounding more like a deadman than someone alive.

Rekkin gasped as she saw the wooden dome, the pillars, and fireball get sucked into a massive rip in space. This Toshiro was a Space-Time User after all! But... it seemed different than other Space-Time Jutsu users she had met before, and something felt wrong about this one.

 

"W-What is this?!" she exclaimed, before she saw Toshiro's head appear near her left hand, and she gasped again as the Uchiha grabbed her shoulders, making her stare into his crimson red Mangekyo Sharingan eyes. It was spinning in a counter-clockwise motion, as if it was rewinding and recharging its already-used ability.

 

Damn it! He has unleashed his Mangekyo! This could spell big trouble for me unless I find a way out of this mess! I don't know where to start, though! Wait! That's right, now I know!

 

Rekkin smirked a bit, as Toshiro was holding her and looking straight at her. She just moved her arms, forming a single hand seal. But nothing seemed to happen. She just kept smirking at Toshiro.

 

"You are more than welcome, Ero-Uchiha!"

Garanth was watching the fight not even attempting to help his fellow Akatsuki member. He grunted and thought to himself. Can she not even take care of this foolish man? He sat down on a roof nearby allowing her to fight on her own. He called out in a sarcastic and cruel tone to her. "If you need help just let me know." He pulled his hands out of his sleeves making a hand sign as he closed his eyes. "I will meditate for now; you have no need for me here."

 

He closed his eyes as if he was storing chakra for something big. "...." He stayed quiet as his chakra became visible covering his whole body quickly. He thought to himself quietly saying what would happen to himself over and over. If she cannot finish this fight soon I will flood this whole area.

Toshiro didn't seem the least affected by Rekkin's seals. Instead, he held her shoulders tightly, looking straight into her eyes. Somehow, something didn't feel right. The entire area was basked in a dark glow, and the Sun itself was turning black. The winds died out, and the flow of natural energies stopped, even the leaves stopped mid-air. Even the feel of life stopped. Toshiro broke his eye contact with Rekkin, and immediately stepped back into the vortext, disappearing from sight.

 

"This chakra. Who owns such a sinister and evil feel? Whoever you are, show yourself." Toshiro's voice echoed once again from everywhere.

 

The black sun suddenly started to rotate, the skies becoming engulfed in shadows. The area around them laid motionless, as day turned into night, with the Sun exhuming a dark and sinister aura. From somewhere near Rekkin, directly in front, something emerged from the ground. A man in a long, robe, draped with a white cloak crawled from out of the ground. It made a creaking noise as it climbed out of the ground slowly. As it emerged completely from the ground, black mist suddenly started to appear on the ground. The figure removed its hood, exposing a face wrapped in black bandages, a blank forehead protector covering its eyes. It produced a creaking sound, and felt as if its dead more than alive.

 

"Pathetic." the figure hissed with deadness.

 

It gestured around it with a long, bandaged arm, pulling something from his stomach. The space rippled from his abdomen, and the figure's hand disappeared. Seconds later, it reappeared, with Toshiro's head being grabbed by the hair. Then his shoulders, until the figure has successfully pulled Toshiro's entire body from the ripple.

 

"Who the hell are----" Toshiro started but he was cut off when the figure threw him with such force that he impacted a tree, breaking the tree down, and continuing forward, breaking another tree. He continued on until he completely stopped on the 6th tree. There was a pained expression in Toshiro's eyes, his body filled with bruises. He easily knew he broke at least 3 of his ribs, and dislocated his left shoulder joint.

 

"Space and Time. Uchiha. It affects me not." the figure hissed once again, the voice sounded as if it came from someone dead.

 

The air around the figure was extremely chilly, and it was not because of ice nor the wind. It was purely due to terror and the lack of life. Its as if the figure itself was the living embodiment of death. The ground it was standing on released more black mist, covering the entire battlefield. The figure's head turned towards Toshiro's direction, then turned towards Rekkin and Garanth's direction, the head turning a complete 180 degrees to the back.

 

"You two are Akatsuki, are you not? Looking for a man named Gyosei, perhaps?" the figure spoke in its dead tone.

 

As it did, the area around them started to become filled with black mist that rise up to their ankles. The mist was cold with fear and terror, while the blackness has no life, and it seemed to be eating the very natural energies around them. The figure pointed a finger towards Garanth, turning his body 180 degrees along with his head, now facing the two Akatsuki completely.

 

"I suggest you open your eyes, fool. I talk not to people who knows no respect." the figure hissed in a dead, angry tone.

"Ring around the roseys...A pocket full of poseys." A female voice echoed through out the hallway. "...Ashes ashes...They all fall down." The female stopped in front of a door and slowly opened it quickly going inside. Zenosuke hadn't achknowladged her yet so she took that as a good sign. She eased forward...Just a bit more...Almost......

 

"BOO!!!"

 

Sen smiled, "Did I scare you this time, Zenosuke-sama!? Did I? Did I?"

 

"And where is everyone, it's so quiet here and no one to play with." She sighed then looked at the three large gates she had missed...How? She didn't even know.. "That's a big door..."

Zenosuke stared at Sen with indifference. He was in the middle of his mental mapping when the Akatsuki marched in. He usually would've sent her flying away and have her impaled on one of the pointed rocks lining the hideout. However, he was in a very good mood. He could feel the Rinnegan's power becoming his anytime soon. The chains trailing on the floor behind him started to produce a grinding noise as Zenosuke moved towards the demon gates, and examined the portals, stretching out his right palm, exposing a number of chains swirling around each finger.

 

"You, little girl, are lucky. I am in a good mood today. Shuuhei and the rest are gone towards their respective areas, looking for Gyosei and the key to getting the legendary Rinnegan. Now, while you're here, I want you to either go and help one of your senpais, or do some errands for me." Zenosuke said, moving closer to Sen.

 

He stretched out a finger, and used it to touch Sen's chin, moving it up so that they meet eye to eye. Well, technically speaking, because Zenosuke was wearing a blinder around his eyes. He then inched closer to Sen, as if going to kiss her.

 

"By the way, your punishment for disrupting me earlier is this." Zenosuke whispered through the ninja cloth around half his face, covering his mouth.

 

From out of nowhere, a couple of small chains appeared, wrapping around Sen's wrists and ankles. From the chains, a strong surge of electricity suddenly flowed through, shocking the young Akatsuki member. The shock wasn't strong enough to grievously wound her, but it was enough to cause a certain level of pain. It stopped after ten seconds, the chains uncoiling, and disappearing once again.

 

"Now do tell me what do you want to do." Zenosuke remarked as if nothing happened.

Sen harshly bit her lip fighting the urge to scream but small whimpers escaped anyway. She stayed on the ground for a few seconds recovering from the attack, before standing up on shakey legs. It always happened but she just never seemed to learn her lesson. Sen bit down on her thumb and mumbled like the scolded child she was, "I wanna go help one of my Senpais." She stood quiet, rocking on her heals as she waited for him to say something so she wouldn't get in more trouble.

Zenosuke tightened the chains around his hands, then went towards to Sen, kneeling down and patting the little girl on the head. Chains were dangling from his body, clanging as he moved his hand. He then stood up and went towards the demon doors casually, the chains behind him grinding with the rocky surface of the hideout. He the stopped in front of the doors, and stretched out a palm.

 

"That's good to hear. Now, Rekkin and Garanth are over at Konohagakure. It seems they're fighting someone," Zenosuke stopped, his palm quivering. A chill escaped from the demon door, blowing towards Sen, "This feeling. It feels like the entire area where Rekkin and Garanth are suddenly died."

 

Zenosuke then palmed towards another demon door, this time, mist escaped from the door instead of a cold aura.

 

"Hmm. Kirigakure is where Shado and Daku are, but you're not needed by them anymore. Shado has Daku as his apprentice, and I don't think he'll need help." Zenosuke remarked, as he moved towards the last demon door.

 

"This one, Shuuhei and Matsushita. Somehow, I have no idea what's happening over their side. I can't feel Shuuhei nor Matsushita. Interesting." Zenosuke said, then rounding towards Sen once again. "Just go where do you want to go. I've just remembered something. Tell whoever you're going to follow that I've sent you."

 

Zenosuke then immediately hurried towards the far side of the hideout, where a massive statue was standing. He performed a few seals, his chains shooting towards the face of the statue. The chains glowed ominously, and there was a low rumbling coming from Zenosuke's mouth.
