Why so underrated?

This game. Is. Awesome.

 

Unfortunately, most people think that old-fangled Mario 1 or Mario 3 or Mario 2: The Lost Levels crap was good, and have too much nostalgic idiocy to even recognize this game. SUPER MARIO WORLD 2. It is horribly misnamed, however. It's just Yoshi's Island 1, since it has nothing to do with Super Mario World.

 

I'll get killed for this, but I think it's better than Mario 1, 2 or 3. Mostly because this was one of my first games for the GBA, and I love love loved it.

 

TOUCH FUZZY, GET DIZZY. NOT A BLATANT DRUG REFERENCE.

I loved this game. I beat it again and again when I feel bored.

This game is so amazing! I always play this when I feel like playing a game that revolves around Yoshi, my favorite character (Though the 1st extra is incredibly difficult. If you beat the game 100% [get 100 in every single level], you get a special endgame surprise after you beat bowser again.)

I loved how normal enemies got pumped up by Kamek's "magic dust" to become World End Bosses.

 

The final boss battle still is one of my favorites to this day. <3

Since when was this game underrated? Last time I checked, almost everyone loved this game. And I still have the orginal SNES cartidge <3

 

The sequel on the other hand didn't have the same charm as this game :[

Most people prefer the other Mario games over this one, so I labeled it as underrated. Because almost no one (outside of YCM, as you can plainly see) knows this game.

 

And I got the GBA Remake of the game, because I had a total of one or two games for my SNES. And I gave it away awhile back. <_<

I only ever played small pieces of it, but from what I played it was great.

 

If it's anything like the DS version it is better then great.
