It's the sudden deluge of vs threads that cropped up at the same time as the grand tournament thing. They're obviously inspired by it' date=' but they're not nearly as well thought out, cheapen the tournament itself, and they suffer from Topic Creator Irrational Bias syndrome.

 

Plus, all the Sephiroth vs X topics are even worse, because you get two types of people:

 

The fandumb that is obsessed with loving him.

 

The hatedumb that is obsessed with hating him.

On this though, I love Kirby, but he's too slow to be able to eat him quickly enough, so I'd have to go with Sephiroth.

Kirby's absorption would take at least one and a half seconds, considering how far away they probably are. Which gives plenty of time for a Sephy teleportation, enough time for Kirby to go "WTF?", and then get stabbed in the back. Just like Aerith.

I'd like to object.

 

Number one, the players were closer to the Supernova explosion than Earth, and the players were the target, so the players were hit before the explosion was close enough to be destroyed.

 

Second, who says Sephiroth has to use that form? Sephiroth can just teleport before Kirby can suck him up, and then stab him. Kirby's good, but he can't suck up anything when he doesn't know where it is. Sephiroth would be too quick.

Sephiroth's abilities extend ridiculously far past what he showed in FFVII and AC. He's got telekinesis, telepathy, teleportation, and the ability to cast magic without Materia. Kirby's dead.
