Drake's order had come and gone by now, he looked around the shop, he could see his father behind the counter. Three sisters, who Drake recognised from the concert they played here a while ago, Natalie, the middle sister, was in Drake's eyes a pretty girl. He had wanted to talk to her for quite a while, maybe today he'd do it, but then again, he would just freeze up. He started to walk toward the girls, hoping they'd remember him from thier concert here not too long ago. He breath a light sigh and hoped for the best, now standing only a few metres away from them.

Zaven turns around with his coffee, he takes a sip and oddly enough, seems to mellow out. He looks over at the table of ladies and see what seems to be a sheet of lyrics. He walks over and gets almost in her face to look at them, "Lyrics? Are you a musician, per chance? I thought I was the only one 'round here. Music's dying in all the public schools. Mind if I join you?" He motions at an empty chair with his cup of coffee.

Jecht turned around in the seat to see some guy yelling in the coffee shop. Once he calmed down Jecht saw someone else heading towards the girls. He could see the intent in his eyes. the nervous expression on his face. He reminded him of well . . . him. When he had first met his girlfriend almost six months ago. The memories were fresh in his mind and those were very painful for him. Music had been his blockade against said memories. He used the music the block out everything else. Music had saved his life. His fist clenched, and his mucsles visibly tensioned as the memories flooded through his head. A single unforgiving tear escaped despite his efforts.

Natalie had immediately turned her attention to Drake while Tila and Britney turned their attention to Zaven. "Well, a fellow musician, haven't seen alot in this town and of course you could join us, we wouldn't mind at all" . Britney said as se licked her lips, trying to make herself look attractive. She had this sudden attachment to Zaven, and she really did like older guys. "Hey, I know you, you always come here and i remember i saw you when all of us were doing a concert to benefit Haiti" . Natalie said as she thought if this boy had liked her. She had feelings for him, but she also had feelings with other people too.

Jecht watched as various people's love lives were going on in this very coffee shop. His anger boiled over and he grabbed his coffee cup crushing it and throwing it away rather voilently. He exited the Yellow Rose slamming the door and resting against the wall . . . trying his best to calm down. He banged his head against the wall once and closed his eyes. 10. 9. 8. 7. 6. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. He counted down in his head but continued leaning against the wall his eyes closed, and his head looking up towards the sky.

"What an exciting event...." Xander thinks to himself. By event, he meant Jecht, and how he looked angry. It's not that he wanted to torment or annoy Jecht, but it seemed like something that could maybe help, much later in the future. He quietly closed his iPod, and stood up. Before walking, he struck a glare straight at Zaven. The kind of glare that would even pierce your soul. He then started walking outside after a few seconds, and let the outside atmosphere cool him off. He turned towards Jecht, looking a bit bored. "Is something wrong, son?" He honestly asked, not saying son as a joke, but for real.

Drake was surprised to see Natalie aknowledge him. "Hey, Natalie, if you can't remember, I'm Drake. I'm always here cus my parents own the place" Drake spoke with a nervous half-smile on his face. The girl was very pretty, she looked like his type, she acted appealingly. She was probably out of his league. "So, are you and your sisters doing any gigs lately? 'cus I'd love to come along and watch." He was probably just making an idiot out of himself now. Drake brushed his 'emo-style' fringe out of his eye, he usually didn't mind talking with it flopping down over his face, but, when he was stressed, or nervous that was a completely different matter.

Mark sighed. Some kid was acting nervous around one of the sisters, and probably liked her. He sighed and thought of his own love-life. Noone seemed to be his type. He sighed again as his playlist stopped, and his music started back from the beggining of the playlist. "Screw this." He muttered, taking the ear phones out and shoving them in his coffee. He kicked his chair away, downed the cup of coffee and yawned. The day was starting off terrible. He just hoped it didn't continue. He placed the mug on the table and grabbed his bag. When he walked out of the door, he had to shield his eyes from the glaring sun. "Damn, I prefere the rain." He muttered, walking past two of the kids from in the shop.

He nods, "Hmm... I do seem to remember that concert! It's when I broke my left hand... Couldn't play bass for it so I donated all the money I had from my last 2 gigs to the concert cuz I felt soooo terrible. Haha." He looked up at this character that just sort of shot him a nasty glare, "Someone's a sourpuss." He turned his attention to the ladies in front of him, "Anyway... Yeah, if you lovelies ever need a male voice or a bassist, let me know! Well, assuming I'm not in the middle of a college course. I used to be in a really successful band, but uh... things came up, so I'm trying to become a music teacher and work for the new school around the block. There's no music program, it's kinda wrong."

Alex yawned & looked at the time. "S***! I have a gam-oh, it's the week that we have a BYE." He said, looking up. "Thank you lord." He turned the TV on & tuned it to a sitcom. He shrugged, because he couldn't find anything else on. "Well, i'm gonna leave for the electronics store & grab a quick lunch." He picked up his things & left, one, happy his game wasn't until next week, & two, that his life is all good still.

Jecht looked at someone who posed a question. He looked to seem a year or two older than him. Jecht wasn't the one to spill out his feeling to someone or anyone at all for that matter, he kept himself to himself. "No." He answer bluntly, trying to to keep his expression calm and smooth . . . he just couldn't do it. This guy didn't really care to hear anything about him, and didn't want to tell him about him either. "I'll just be leaving." He muttered and began to walk off, towards the direction of the gym.

"Alright..." Xander calmly replied as Jecht was already a few meters away by the time he had noticed. "It's obvious." Whispering to himself, he went back into the Yellow Rose, noticing some activity around the only table with girls, which some guy had just joined. "That was expected. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if somebody was already hitting on somebody else." He shamelessly commented out loud, as he went back to his table, and took out a deck of cards he liked keeping with him. "Let's see if somebody else around here is any sort of gamer." He grinned to himself, straightening the deck out.

Jason turned over to the table. There was quite the crowd over there, and his coffee still hadn't come. He sighed and walked over to the table. He hesitated the decision before but he now wanted to know what was going on. He had his uniform on and casually sat down next to everyone. "This table seems to be grabbing a lot of attention. Care to share whats going on here?" Jason looked at Xander, the on who just loudly commented.

Xander quickly put his deck of cards away, looking at the young man who just spoke to him. "Nothing much, actually. It's only that, it seems like that guy over there has never spoken to anybody of the female gender, before." He pointed to Zaven, and cracked his knuckles, feeling a very small amount of pain as they cracked. "I should stop cracking my knuckles, it's going to start hurting. Anyways, your name?" He stood up, looking back at the table with the girls, amd Zaven with a quick, very slight malicious grin,

Zaven looks up again to see this man to him staring at him yet again, he turns towards the ladies and says, "One second ladies, that guy over there keeps shooting me a look. Perhaps I should go see what this is about, unless of course it's the usual jealousy." He says with a bit of a sarcastic, funny tune. He walks over to the figure shooting the grins, "Excuse me buddy, but is there any reason you're looking at me so much? It's getting kind of annoying, I'll be honest."

Xander looked down to him, with the grin continuing. "Hm?" He noticed he'd been asked a question, as his grin slightly dimmed down. "I have no specific reasons for looking at you, but I was just asked what was going on. I told the kid who asked me about what you were doing. I have no problems to start, and, if I did have any problems with you, you would have known a long time ago. Why do you find it annoying, also? It's just a little grin." He grinned again, looking back at Zaven. "It looks like you have your hands full at the moment, anyways." He looked at the table where the sisters were, but quickly turned back to Zaven.

Alex decided to stay, & join the crowd. He got on the mic spot & started singing:

Tim McGraw- Don't Take the Girl. "But please, Don't Take the Girl." He said in one of the Chorus verses. He was crying by: "Doctor says, "The baby's fine, but you'll have to leave."" He sang with all his might, & walked off when he was finished. He smiled, & joined the slowly overflowing table.

Drake's mind was racing, his nerves were driving him mad. What if he'd screwed up with Natalie already. She was gorgeous, just his type. He looked down at her, she was nearly a foot shorter, he couldn't help think that she was as cute as she was attractive. He had an urge to kiss her coursing through him, but he resisted the temptation to even indicate his interest in it. He waited for her reply anxiously, praying in his own mind that he hadn't messed this up. She was the kind of girl you only got one chance with, or atleast that's the impression Drake had of her, and he was determined to make his chance count.

Jason then looked over at the Drake, just noticing he was there. He had seen him at the coffee shop before, working and serving customers. This was his chance to finally get hat he wanted. He stood up and walked over to Drake, who still had his thoughts on Natalie. He poked him in the shoulder. "Exuse me? Do you work here? Becuase if you di, I would like my coffee I ordered awhile ago." Jason might've just screwed this kids romantic moment, but he still didn't have his coffee.

"Sorry Natalie, can you hang on a second?" He was more embaraced then anything else. "I do work here, but only after school on week days, and as you can see by the clock and the lack of uniform I'm not on shift. Now sorry, but I'm trying to have a private conversation. If you want service, please talk to my mother, the blonde woman behind the counter, tell her that Drake asked her to get your order finished quickly, and she should do it." Drake dismissed the kid as fast as he had aknowledged him and turned his attention back to Natalie.

Cyrus walked into the Yellow rose with a pair of very, very dark sunglasses on and a black fedora. Considering he was the average 13 year-old, he looked a bit misshappen, which was intensified by the fact he wore a white t-shirt and jeans with his hat and glasses. He sat down at a table, almost missing the chair, and tried to look at the menu. Finally, giving up on seeing though his glasses, he figured he'd have a simple piece of pound-cake and a hot chocolate.

He gets a little ticked, "Yeah well, stop it. I don't like when people look at me funny. Puts me on guard." He looks back to the table of women, "Yeah, true enough." He returns back to the table, just trying not to pay attention to this guy who is just weirding him out. He looked at this kid walking through the door, thinking Man... That kid is one sharp dresser. He focuses back on to the task at hand, the women in front of him.

Valarie walked into the Yellow Rose, and sat down near a table of three girls. THey looked familiar- she had seen them before, somewhere, she just couldn't remember where at the time. She pulled out her sketchpad, and started to draw. She drew what she always drew- the Yellow Rose. First, she started out with the waiters and waitresses, speaking to the customers, taking menus. Next, she sketched the actual customers. She started out with the girls at the table next to her- talking, flirting. Next, she drew a police officer sitting at a table. She finished sketching out all of the customers, and finished the drawing by draewing a light sketch of a yellow rose over the whole drawing of the cafe. She examined the artwork, and put her sketch notebook aside. Valarie picked up the menu, and decided she would order simply a coffee, though she hated coffee. She was just in a coffee-ish mood.

Jason nodded his head. "Sorry for interupting you then." Jason stood up and walked over to the counter. He saw the blonde women there doing her thing. "Exucse me miss, Drake over there said to hurry up my order of coffee. I've been here for a little bit too, maybe 20 minutes. Don't want to bother you, but it wuld be really nice if you did." He turned and saw a girl srawing on her skecthpad. She was really intent on her drawing, so he decided not to disturb her.

Cyrus noticed the strange looks he got when he came in the door. Well, I could've done better on the whole esemble, but this is better then without these things on...then I'm really a fright... He was interuppted in his thoughts by the waitress. Ordering a hot chocolate and forgetting the pound-cake, he noticed a girl sketching. He had recently taken a bit of an interest in new artists, and this girl looked really rather good at her work. Thinking about holding a small contest, he amused himself by doing table-top magic tricks, making the spoons bend, bannanas dissappear, salt shakers move across the table, the usual thing.
