Do what you feel like doing' date=' no one's forcing you.

A general idea of the average size of posts on that site. Enjoy.

That's quite the writing skill there.

That is quite difficult, and quite a feet of writing prowess. Kudos to you, Zex. However, that is exactly what I would like, is to be able to improve. Of course, I sure as hell can't go from this site to that one, because I'd be slaughtered and banned faster than you can type "Let's RP!". If I jump from site to site, I might be able to do it.

Who am I kidding? It would take me at least two to four months to do that.

Don't worry' date=' Rem's a good kid. He complains some, but he's better now that we(Andx) whipped him into shape.

If you're going to put my name in parenthesis you might as well just say it was me instead of taking credit for what I did! lol

Anyway, what Black said in the quoted post.

Right now?

As in, RIGHT now, and be able to make a post that size? With words and lines that make sense, and not breaking any RPing rules?

I question that. Matter of fact, I question my ability to be able to improve to that level in four months. It might take six to a year now that I think about it.

I'd never be able to RP like that. My posts can get to decent lengths but the level these guys take it to is something else. I'd need more than one character to do something that long and I doubt I'd avoid every form of god-modding. I'd have to make reactions that I have no business making. Now I could definitely make fan-fic like that as I have control over all characters, but no way could I RP like that.

@Chiyuri: lol at taking things literally on purpose for a comedic effect.

Now guys, do bear in mind that that is the average. But it is not required by any means.

Unless a thread is specifically marked for it, posts can be any length, assuming you at least contribute to the RP and address all previously established points. You'll find that, eventually, your posts end up reaching such impressive lengths solely due to working off of your fellow RPers posts.

If you help each other out, giving each other plenty to work with, everyone can obtain long posts.

http://setsuwav2.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=aur&action=display&thread=833&page=1 < - That demonstrates how not ALL posts have to be obscenely long (scroll down a bit to see what I mean).

2 things:

1) Am I in? It's hard to keep track.

2) I CAN make posts that long, but I fear they tend to bore people, and that they don't get fully read because of their length.

@Andx: I usually hate having more than 1 character. Switching between them makes me feel like losing full-syncro in a BN game switching between two Navis. BTW, I'm sad I never made my Megaman RP. I'll have to do that sometime soon. I'm sure Proto would join xD

Because, Nex, I am actually inspired to write those.

However, do bear in mind that my laptop is up and running now, and that it's pretty much all set up. So I'll once again be able to stay up late into the night writing to my heart's content. So just wait for me to be a little inspired and I should be good. And this time I actually did already start on it, too - I started writing it a couple weeks ago, when I said I was actually getting on that, but since I could only write it at school and because I had rehearsals and shows and all that, I couldn't focus on it.

Now our show is over, though, and my schedule has calmed down, so I should be able to direct more focus at the fic.
