and there can be chara's from anime and video games and whatever?

Yeah, there was a short nomination period where you could nominate up to 5 characters from a video game/anime/real life/whatever. After all the nominations were taken (there was a 128 limit). Roxas put them all in a randomizer to determine who would go up against who. For the fun of it, a small plot was developed around the tournament to keep it interesting.

The event is a POPULARITY contest - and the more popular one moves on. It's not a real fight.

I reserved the Collector's Edition of Final Fantasy XIV, so I get to start playing 8 days before the people that are getting the standard edition =D

(pulls out a crowbar)

Don't make me go Gordon Freeman on you! (eye twitches)

Nah. That's pretty awesome. What's in the Collector's Edition? Any kind of bonus content? (There better be)

Says it includes:

* EARLY ACCESS – Play 8 days prior to the release of the Standard Edition

* BEHIND-THE-SCENES DVD – Get an insider look at the making of FINAL FANTASY XIV with exclusive video content, interviews and more in this special documentary DVD

* SECURITY TOKEN – A FINAL FANTASY XIV branded Security Token used in addition to your regular password

* TRAVEL JOURNAL – Record your travels in this beautifully bound journal filled with pages of never-before-seen concept art

* RIGHT OF PASSAGE – Redeem a voucher to receive your fully personalized right of passage certificate, each stamped with a unique serial number

* FREE GAMEPLAY – Free gameplay for 30 days

* BUDDY PASS – Invite a friend to play free for a limited time

* GAME DISC

* GAME MANUAL

I also get an Onion Knight Hat (in-game) for pre-ordering at Gamestop.

This is actually a pretty impressive deal. I basically get a free FFXIV equivalent of a Blizzard Authenticator, plus free game time, early access, and the usual cool collector's junk.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Basically you got a FF version of my WoW Battle Chest. Now I have to go find out if this game is worth buying (unlike FFXI).

I'm still considering XIV, and I don't know if I should get the PC or PS3 version.

Other than Gagagigo, several other YGO cards have stories, such as Warrior of Zera, Warrior Dai Grepher, and Goblin Greed. I just chose Gagagigo because he's my favorite. It is a popularity contest, but I include fights anyway in the scenarios and try to balance things out, which is why Crow was able to hit Aizen in the face with his D-Wheel. There will be a fanfic adapting, adding, and expanding stories of the YGT, making it more of a tradition crossover.

Now vote in the latest match.

I called her Aeris until I played other games that started calling her Aerith. At first I thought the change was dumb and I continued to call her Aeris. Then as time went on I learned it was a mistranslation and then I played Crisis Core and Aerith began to sound better. I don't call her Aeris much anymore, if at all.
