Maybe "never" was a bit of a stretch, but the majority of discussions place around things that aren't Squeenix.

Because if we talked about nothing but Squeenix we would have very few posts, considering that we mostly discuss mainstream Squeenix like FF and KH. However, because those series have a lot of hype, games don't come out often, and let players enjoy the games they have, and wait in anticipation for other things.

Conversations about leaks of the upcoming games don't last too long either.

For example, let's say something leaked.

"Ansem is in the next game."

"orly?"

"yarly."

"That's cool."

"Yes it is."

"Kthx."

Add a little bit of discussion of opinions on the new exposed secret, and that's pretty much what happens when something leaks. Mostly because that's all there is to it, leaks don't leave very much to talk about.

We were talking about XIV? not!Xirno Gary Oak has a point though.

Ansem being in the game isn't a surprise, anyway, though I think you mean Xehanort. Every single game so far is apparently just a part of the "Xehanort Saga", so KH3 will probably be the conclusion of it. Let's just hope the next saga is worth it.

I would love it if they had characters from Valkyrie Profile (namely Lezard Valeth) make cameo appearances in a KH game. (Lezard showed up in Radiata Stories - and Lenneth and Freya were optional bosses in Star Ocean: Till the End of Time).

Oh lord, I'd love to see how Lezard would fare against the Organization. (For those who don't know who Lezard Valeth is, I would suggest looking him up. You'll get an idea of how powerful - and insane - the guy is. Roxas would probably agree with me)

Powerful mage with a lust for more power?

Could take on 1 member of the organization, maybe one or two. All XIII against him would prove a threat, considering the manpower factor.

I looked him up one the game series wiki, and it didn't exactly give me a clear idea of how powerful he is.

Yeah, you have to play the game to get a better feeling. Reading it only gives you so much. You just have to see him in action (and hear his voice. His voice actor is Addie Blaustein - the same person who does Meowth and Lt. Surge from Pokemon as well as Joey Wheeler from Yu-Gi-Oh!). Personally, I like the VP1 version of Lezard. The VP2 one was kinda meh - even though he was the last boss in VP2 and was freaking annoying as hell to fight.

Here are some things I should mention:

1) The guy is a necromancer, so he can conjur up some pretty powerful demons to help him (which he does when you fight him)

2) The guy is easily the most powerful magician in the game - play-wise and story-wise. He has the power to shift his entire tower to a different dimension (according to the head student of the Sorcerer Academy when she infiltrated his tower in spirit form)

3) The guy has the Philosopher's Stone (or as he referred to it 'The ten-billion page codex). Given enough time to decipher it, he could figure out how to deal with just about anything - even the Organization.

4) Being the sorcerer that he is, he's pretty damn smart. He's like the nerd from Hell. It shouldn't be too hard for him to figure out what each member of the Organization can do.

5) The guy is sadistic. He murders the headmistress of the Sorcerer Academy and her husband on top of his tower just to lure Valkyrie to him - and he killed them on the headmistress' birthday! He also slaughtered countless people in order to craft a homonculus for a single being.

I have 2 things to say:

1. Does he have Brooklyn Rage?

2. I would so want to be on this guy's side.

I'm well aware of all of your points.

However, the key part of your argument is time. He has to analyze 13 infinitely complex personalities and abilities, and counter them with a very centered move set such as necromancy. Not only that, it would be difficult to see each member's true abilities and not get killed, so it is very likely that he either underestimates their abilities after the first encounter, since they enjoy to play with victims. He could also get killed after seeing their true power from the first encounter.

Not to mention the manpower factor, and if the Organization manages to see him as a threat, then applying the manpower factor as well as the facts previously stated, he's screwed.

He can't analyze all of them, and messing with the Organization too much will get him killed. Not too mention there are no spirits and Valkeries in the KH realm, nor are there any rules that apply to his. Meaning that all of his strategic prowess may become void because he has new rules to deal with.

Fight - He likes to teleport around a bit and is quick to get distance in order to analyze. His magic casting speed is also almost instantaneous; he's (for the most part) at the level where he doesn't have to say the name of the spell to cast it. They just make him do it in the battles for dramatic effect. He does need to do the chanting for summoning, though.

Manpower - Lezard's not technically alone - as he's got a bunch of demons and such hanging around his tower as well as a few artifical lifeforms to help him do his bidding.

Analysis - Lezard wouldn't be stupid enough to take them all on at once. Not even Sora was THAT dumb. Knowing Lezard, he'd prefer to get one-on-one fights if at all possible. Also, I wonder if the Organization would even consider him enough of a threat to warrant sending all 13 members against him at once. And he'd be quick to adapt to new scenarios - as he's traveled to other planes before.
