[spoiler=Plot]Most people think they know fairies. You know, the prissy pink girls in pink dresses with wings. Or leprechauns, the green suited miniture men. Dwarves? The short mining folk with long scraggy beards. Wrong, wrong and wrong. Dwarves are men with unhingable jaws, which can grow enough to bite off your head, and hair that is literally alive. Fairy is the common name for a person that lives below ground, including Pixies, sprites and elves. And leprechauns. Well, you'd've never guessed. Leprechauns aren't called leprechauns. They are called the LEPrecon team, a team of police fairies with super advanced technology. LEP stands for the lower elements police, and is run by a few commanders and Foaly, a Centaur with a brain to beat Einstein, Newton and Archimedes at once. The technology includes mind wipers, Contact len's that can act as camera's and laser guns. The fairies were unbeatable....untill they were beaten. The guy was a genius, managing to escape a type of magic that stopped time. And do you know what else, he was twelve. Anyway, nowadays, the boy, artemis fowl, is a genius. He is 23 and is a friend of the fairies. His wife, Minerva, captured a demon, but is just as friendly to the Fairies. Now, this is where you come into it. There are young genii, each twelve or thirteen, that are about to discover this magical world, and they each have a body guard. You can be either. Or you could be a Fairy. Elves, Gnomes, Dwarves, Centaurs. Anything but trolls, trolls dont really think. Which one are you?

Appearence: Although artemis fowl does not look imposing at first, if you look closer you will see a hint of intellligence and cruelty behind his eyes. He is a tall, raven haired young man with a pale face and piercing blue-black eyes. His stature is that of a very succesful buisness man, and he is usually seen in a suit. His expression is usually straight and humourless, with a tint of smugness.

Personality: Artemis is a smug and arrogant young man who actually has reason to be. He is uptight, and yet calm and relaxed. He likes to gloat and such, and loves to make a mockery of people. Over the years, ever since his fight with the LEP, he has changed from a selfish, cocky young irsh boy on the brink of adolselence, to a teen only interested in profit, but is willing to help a friend, to a completely selfless man, determined to protect everything he holds dear. Almost everyone likes this changed and would say it was a change for the better.

Bio: Artemis was never exactly normal. He was born the son of Artemis fowl senior, a great and rich buisness man, with a reputation for illegitimate enterprises. Artemis inherited his fathers erge to disobey, and loved to work against the law. When his father was kidnapped by the Mafia, Artemis was devestated. But not for his father. Artimes was devastated that his father had left the Fowls a few billion pounds short. This caused Artemis, and his Bodyguard Butler, to go searching for fairies. After finding a book that was supposed to be the Fairy Bible, Artemis found out that all fairies had gold and such on them at all times. This led to him capturing a fairy by the name of Holly short, and keeping her hostage. He led a war against the fairies, of which he won, and earned himself half a metric ton of gold. Next he rescued his father from Mafia, while stopping a Goblin invasion and unmasking Opal Koboi as a Criminal. He has also created a cube from fairy technology and stole it back from Jon spiro, one of the most successful buisness men in the world And then thwarted Opal's plans again, leaving her to the mercy of the LEP. Then he has defeated a horde of demons, aswell as out witting the next artemis fowl, a girl called Minerva. He has gone on to become probably the worlds greatest Psychiatrist and Buisness man, while aiding the LEP and fairy civalisation with all it's problems.

Personality: Ellorie is a normal teenager- if you don't count all of her knowledge and related things. Of course, she was a bit smart-mouthed, and a little tempermental, but she is still a good kid. When it comes to her normal life as a normal child, she is kind and loving. When it comes to her life as a genius, she is merciless and cold. She has two different personalities for her parents, so they don't think she is some kind of psyco that neeeded to be locked up in the Insane sylum.

Bio: Ellorie was always smart for her age. This was because she had no friends. She needed to occupy her time, so to do this, she taught herself. In second grade, she learned the Pythagorean Theorem. In Third, she tutored 7th graders. In fourth, she won the High School Geography Bee. You get it. Still shunned, she began to learn even more, reasearch even more. Her parents always adored Ellorie, but of course, this was because they thought she was a goody-goody child. You see, Ellorie played two different personalities in her life. One was for her parents, and the other was for the real world. Soon, in late 7th grade, she discovered a myth, a myth about fairies, and she explored deeper into this...

Bio: Jecht was born into a family of bodyguards. Taking other people's lives into their hands. It seemed very honorable. Grew was taught by a very strick teacher, being punished psyically, whenever he makes a mistake. He learned how not to make mistakes. He learned technique, accuracy, and speed. He loved to practice his hook swords and was forced to also. He found a job guarding a small child and thought it couldn't be easier, just a kid right . . . wrong. Personality: An utter madman, Daniel hopes to conquer the world via a human-instigated interspecies war. He is a bit of a pervert, but he does have manners. He has big plans, and is quite patient.

Bio: Daniel Andrews, the son of a Rhode Island Senator and a former Secretary of State, Daniel had no real guardian figures, so he taught himself via online classes. By the age of 5, he submitted an award-winning thesis on the morality of war, humanity's instinctual need for conflict, and the pointlessness of a constant state of peace. Shortly after his 8th birthday, he managed to successfully hack into the Pentagon. At 12, he secretly started to shift America away from a service economy back into something reminiscent of World War II, bringing the nation out of a potential depression, which allowed the US to surpass China's. On his 16th birthday, the United States invaded Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean, mostly of his doing, more than doubling the number of states to a somewhat even 110. Just before he finally moved out of his parents' mansion in Rhode Island to the island nation of Nauru, which he now owned, the national debt had been paid off, and Chinese workers were starting to come to the US to find jobs.

Now, he has managed to use his country's (literally, HIS country's) intelligence resources to find out about fairies, and is planning on speeding up the process of world domination. You see, his dream is to become President of the United States, and he is getting tired of having to wait another 15 years.

He is now taking a break from manipulating his birth nation in a now-ecologically-restored Nauru, and is currently looking for other geniuses to help him.

He is also extremely rash, and makes decisions that end up costing him more than he would have liked. He is also cunning, and clever, though the plans that he sometimes comes up with are not usually the best (most of the time, he doesn't even make plans. He just goes with the flow).

Bio: When Aaron first went to school, everyone was worried that he was going to have to transfer out and go to a school for students with "special problems." However, he astounded both his parents and his teachers by scoring the higher than anyone else in the school on his standardized tests. Seeing that he was special, only in a different way, Aaron was sent off to a school for students with similar skills to his. Though he hated it there, he managed to endure for six weeks, before leaving. He rented an apartment nearby, and has lived there since, living alone.

Personality: Lula is quirky and perky. She is friendly, and is always eager to meet new people. Her sharp focus and quick attitude are qualities that made her a prime choice for LEP, but she has dozens of fears and quirks. She is also stubborn, and usually unyielding when it comes to any decisions that she makes. Lula tends to be loud, and gasps, screams, yells, or otherwise shouts whenever something surprises or scares her. She also has a strange like of cats.

Bio: Lula grew up with LEP. Her father was a captain in Piloting, and her mother was a Sergeant in Retrieval. Her parents both believed that it was their daughter's destiny to be just like them, and tried training her to be just like them. However, she happened to be afraid of heights, and hated all the menial tasks that Retrievers performed. Her parents got the hint, and began training her for Recon. They noticed that she took an instant liking for it, and she was quickly signed up. Lula performed in various missions, and she rose quickly through the ranks, much to her parents' pleasure.

Personality [3+ lines]:Alcaeus is often very reclusive. He spends most of his time studying chess positions and diagrams. While playing a game of chess, he will often not speak at all to anyone around spectating or commenting on the game or his moves. In the instances where he is forced to speak with a person or group of people, he will remain calm and speak only when spoken to and never interrupt. He often has a bad habit of belittling someone's chess skills if a game is boring or it was too easy of a win. In public, he will often times just let his eyes and mind wander or play a mental game of chess in his head while idle.

Bio [4+ lines]: Alcaeus River, named after the Greek poet; Alcaeus of Mytilene, was the son of poor parents that lived in an old rundown apartment in Reading, Pennslyvania. When he was 8, his family moved to New York for his father to find work as they awaited the birth of his baby sister. One day his father brought home a chess board as something for the family to do together. Alcaeus soon became obsessed beyond reasoning with chess. He became a regular attendant at New York's various chess clubs, vigorously studying the game and reading every book and magazine that he could find as well as analyzing well-known chess theories. He played his first tournament at 10 years of age, easily placing first. At 10 and a half, Alcaeus began playing in many local chess tournaments and at age 11 and a half, gained the status of Grandmaster.

Name: Opal Koboi, a.k.a. Imogen Book, Belinda Zito, Angeline Fowl, Gala Driel, Belle Tinkerton, Queenie Mab, Ella Phame, and more

As a pixie, Opal was roughly the size of a human child, with childlike proportions, including a comparatively large head. Artemis noted the second time he met her, the first time after the mindwipe, that if he didn't know otherwise "he never would have guessed that the female before him was anything but a human child." She has dark red hair and dark red eyes, which either have no visible sclera (whites), or sclera identical in colour to the iris. She is currently about the size of a slightly smaller-than-average human teenager, with normal-looking red eyes.

Opal Koboi, in her early life, was known for being commanding but subtle though still a megalomaniac with a narcissistic personality disorder, schizophrenic tendencies and paranoid delusions. After her self-induced coma, she became increasingly insecure and began sufering from Narcissus syndrome, a syndrome where the sufferer has spent so long in their own company that they see no - one else as equal to them or become "unreal" (Artemis wrote an article on it himself under the seudonym 'Sir. E Brum' (cerebrum)). and by the time the LEP got to her, she had gone insane, believing that she could read minds as well as several other minor delusions.

Her madness was present long before The Opal Deception though her self-induced coma did nothing for her sanity (or lack thereof). Due to her immense egotism, she is also oblivious to sarcasm despite having quite a sarcastic sense of humour herself.

It is implied that Opal is in fact smarter than Artemis as in The Opal Deception it is stated that she has an IQ of over four hundred while the maximum human IQ is two hundred. It is highly possible however that Artemis possesses a superhuman intellect.

Opal shares many of Artemis's traits. Both are arrogant young geniuses who have an antagonistic relationship with a rival species and both are especially concerned with money and power though much more so in Opal's case. She could be thought of as a dark mirror image of Artemis himself.

Opal loves chocolate truffles, keeping them in the hidden compartment, or "booty box", of her shuttle in The Opal Deception.

However, she has either become so insane that her sanity is beyond any normal comprehension or definition, and therefore unnoticable, or she has manage to cure herself of most of her mental problems through some sort of meditation.

Opal Koboi was a rebellious and passionate pixie in her youth. She came to hate her father, who wanted her to become a stereotypical housewife. She, however, desired absolute power, and soon built her own engineering company, which quickly put her father out of business causing him to have a nervous breakdown and go insane. Koboi recorded her father's breakdown on DVD for her own personal amusement and soon had him and her mother sent to an asylum named Cumulus House.

Her long-time nemesis is the centaur Foaly, who beat Opal in competitions at college. She is obsessed with humiliating and destroying him. Losing to Foaly, as well as her father's sexism caused Opal to develop misandrist tendencies.

During the Spelltropy plague, Koboi Labs found the cure to the disease: the brain fluid of the Silky Sifaka Lemur, and began selling it to the fairy public for outrageous prices before the LEP demanded all of it to destroy the pandemic. However, the same brain fluid was necessary in Koboi's secret concoction which would enable her to manipulate time and space, rendering her immortal and invincible and by effect capable of conquering the world. Opal had already absorbed the brain fluids of various other animals which gave her the ability to fly without aid of wings and expel lethal blasts of energy. The cure for the plague resulted in the extinction of the lemur save one, which Koboi was to steal from the Extinctionists, the leader of which she had mesmerized into doing her bidding. However, the Artemis Fowl from the future returned to save the same lemur (Jayjay) to save his mother. In a fit of rage, Koboi hunted down Fowl and returned to the future with him.

After returning to the past, Koboi formed an alliance with disgruntled former LEP lieutenant, Briar Cudgeon and the B'wa Kell Goblin Triad whom she and Cudgeon supplied with Softnose Lasers and batteries. Their plan was to supply the Goblins with the power to invade Police Plaza and topple the LEP then destroy them when they were of no further use and take over The Lower Elements. Unfortunately for Opal and Cudgeon, Artemis Fowl quickly learned that she and Briar were behind the B'wa Kell rebellion, and infiltrated Koboi Labs with Holly Short, Mulch Diggums, Butler, and Julius Root. Foaly exposed that Cudgeon was going to betray Koboi after the LEP were defeated. Flying into a rage, the pixie attacked Cudgeon and in the ensuing struggle, Cudgeon was thrown into a pipe of heating plasma and Koboi was incapacitated.

To avoid prison, Opal put herself in a self-induced coma, a technique taught to her by Gola Schweem, to get into J. Argon Institute. After being rescued by Merval and Descant Brill and successfully killing Commander Root, she plotted to send the Zito Probe down ten years ahead of schedule, and reveal the existence of fairy civilization to the humans which would result in a cross-species war. Koboi planned to supply the humans with the technology to win then take over the humans and by effect the world. Artemis foiled her plan by tricking Opal into blowing up her own shuttle with explosives which were necessary to divert the probe, thus disabling her and rendering the probe harmless to the People. Opal fled the shuttle in an escape pod which was damaged in the explosion. She managed to pilot it to the planet surface where she crashed in a vineyard. Koboi then used her magic to mesmerise the owner of the yard into thinking that Koboi was her daughter, Belinda. In doing so, however, she used up the last of her magic. She was subsequently forced by her adopted mother to do hard labour on the farm until the LEP reconnaisance squad arrived to arrest her.

She was subsequently taken to Atlantis to a maximum-security prison isolation cube floating in the middle of the ocean where she spent her time writing letters to politicians pleading for her early release but so far to no avail.

Three years afterwards, she appeared in Fowl Manor (having been teleported to the future eight years before) and took control of Angeline Fowl through psychokinesis, forcing her body to fake the symptoms of Spelltropy and prompting Artemis Fowl to travel back in time to obtain a Silky Sifaka Lemur and bring her back to the future with him (this is part of The Time Paradox). Once Artemis returns, her plot is discovered by him and his allies as having been revolving around Jayjay, the last silky sifaka lemur, which Koboi needed for her unlimited power magic formula. Artemis Fowl takes Jayjay and boards a plane, flying it to the south of Ireland (with Koboi flying in pursuit), where it is revealed that it is not Jayjay he is carrying but rather a large monkey doll with a heating pack built-in. Furious, Koboi attempts to kill Artemis but fails after she is blasted under a pile of rubble by a shedding Kraken. However, she manages to escape before the LEP arrives, and thus is loosed upon the world once more.

She was captured and defeated by Artemis and his allies, but her hybridized self managed to escape, and started to live a seemingly normal life as an American teenager in the small town of Waynesville, North Carolina, a few klicks away from E91. But recently, Opal has been spotted dealing with top elements of the American military...while she was in school! The LEP is currently working on how Opal can be in multiple places at once, even with her time-travelling self in custody...
