Natsu, Gray, and Rydia watched in horror as the Fairy Tail Guild burnt to the round. They each tried their various magics - Gray trying to use his ice against the fire, Rydia using her summons and magic, and Natsu actually trying to eat the fire - but nothing worked. Even Natsu felt a bit sick from the flames.

 

"Who did this?" Gray muttered.

 

Rydia cried. "The Guild...everyone inside, can't they do something?"

 

 

"They have," came the voice of Mateus Palamecia. "If an entire guild cannot survive my Starfall magic, then they are unworthy of living in my future kingdom. That hive of insects was worthless under my power."

 

 

"I don't think so!" Wendy Marvell cried. Everyone turned to see that the Sky Dragon Slayer had produced a large barrier made of wind over all the guild members.

 

"You attacked our guild," Erza Scarlet added. "This is unforgivable."

 

"A king must look out for his subjects!" Makarov shouted. "Just as a parent looks out for his children! You have attacked us all, and so we cannot allow you to live!"

 

Makarov turned into his giant form, Erza exquipped her "The Knight" armor, Lucy Hearfilia summoned her Stellar Spirit Loki, Gazille Redfox covered his entire body in iron scales, and Happy took out a flounder. All the other mages fired their own magic, raging from smoke to wood to vines to animals made entirely out of coloring.

 

"I see," Mateus smiled. "It would appear that you are all worthy fighters. Very well, once I slaughter you all, that will prove that I will become king of this world. Come at me Fairy Tail!"

 

Before he could launch his own attack, he was caught by Juvia Loxar's water, Lucky Olietta's wood, and Gray's ice, all of which formed a tight grip on the emperor. Natsu and Gazille each leaped straight at him with fire and iron ready to smack him into the face.

 

Makarov clapped his hands together. "To resort to this move right away, it is worth it!" An explosion of light surrounded Mateus until he turned a pale white. As Natsu's burning fist and Gazille's metal one collided with each side of his face, Mateus shattered as white dust fell to the ground.

 

"We did it!" Natsu cheered.

 

 

That night, all of the guild members reserved a local restaurant to have a party. As everyone else ate inside, Natsu sat outside. Happy and Lucy both took outside.

 

"Something wrong Natsu?" Happy asked. "Do you want a fish?"

"No," Natsu answered. "The guild's destroyed, and that guy, he said something about becoming king of the world."

"It's nothing to worry about," Lucy assured him. "We beat him, so we can relax, right?"

"I know, Lucy, but still. Why did he attack us? We may be a strong guild, but this is nothing like Phantom Lord. Was he even from a guild?"

 

 

"I hail from Crimson Titan."

 

Natsu, Happy, and Lucy looked around as flames encircled them. The ground shook around them as the earth shattered all over in different directions. Fire blocked them off from the restaurant and rose up hundreds of feet high. Rising up was a demon dressed in a familiar golden suit, his hair a mass of snakes.

 

"Who-?" Natsu stammered.

 

"I am the emperor that you once fought this morning. I have achieved conquering Hell, and I believe my other "half" should be close to taking over Heaven as well. And yet, I have only taken one of countless afterlives. Yes, even Solasiro would bow to this power."

 

"What you blabbering on about?" Natsu demanded.

 

"Oh, my apologies, I was a little too absorbed in my newfound power. Regardless, you are but one of the two that delivered the final blow to me earlier, so I shall eliminate you immediately for your impudence. No, perhaps I shall let you live to see the deaths of your comrades first, starting with those to."

 

Mateus pointed at Lucy and Happy as two fireballs - one blue, one red - appeared before the three.

 

"Happy! Lucy!" Natsu held onto Lucy as Happy flew behind the two of them. Both fireballs hit Natsu dead on, igniting him. As he fell back, his grip on Lucy and Happy let go.

 

"Natsu was burnt!" Happy stated in shock.

 

"Why didn't he just charge at him?" Lucy pointed out.

 

Natsu rose up to his feet. "Sorry guys, I'm not being myself tonight. But now," the fire and smoke surrounding Natsu was swallowed by the Dragon Slayer. "I'm all fired up!" His hands became consumed to streams of fire. Mateus dropped mines and two more fireballs as he rose to the air.

 

 

Mateus' staffed circled above his head. "You will die by the star that destroyed your guild."

Fix'd that for you.

 

Anyway, I'm going with Mateus. The heros kill him, his bad half goes to hell and takes it over, and his good half goes to heaven and takes it over. Not many villains can say they did that or even got close to it. Oh, and I don't know the other guy or his series so there's that.
