Kefka Palazzo had brought the Rathalos to Solasiro, singing a song to himself to the tune of Viva la Vida.

 

"I hear the cries of dead babies ringing, foolish little cretins singing. Be my breakfast, my lunch and supper, my appetizers that await to suffer. For some reason I'd happily explain, once you go there was never, never a better taste, then a human ground to paste."

 

"Kefka, never sign again," Solasiro asked.

 

"Oh, come now, Solasiro, it's fun! Besides, you should be grateful I have yet to stab you in the back. Oops, was that a slip of the tongue? Either way, this game of yours is way too slow! Hardly any people have been killed so far, and none of them were worth destroying."

 

"I assure you, soon their will be all the victims you can eliminate. For example, a god by the name of the Crimson Dragon has sent a few adversaries to put a stop to us. Among these are a group of girls known as Charmers."

 

"Oh ho, "Charmers", you say? That sounds titillating. So, I can kill as many as I want?"

 

"Of course. If even a group cannot stand against you, then there is no use for them, bar for their essence. Do ensure that stays intact, would you?"

Hours later

 

 

"Gagagigo, you can't just go out and cause a riot!" Eria the Water Charmer lectured to her Familiar.

 

"My apologies, Eria."

 

"Geez, what am I going to tell Lady Doriado? "Sorry, Gagagigo caused a riot in Springfield, so now we've been kicked out.""

 

"It isn't that bad, Eria."

 

"I know, but I just feel uncomfortable knowing that I'm not allowed to go to one place. It's one thing when Lady Doriado says we can't do this or that, but being kicked out of one place just because you assaulted some beer mascot kind of annoys me."

 

"Eria, look!"

 

"What is it....No, it...It can't be!"

 

 

Far into the distance, the pair could see violet smoke in the sky.

 

"Hiita can be a bit wild sometimes," Gagagigo admitted. "But I'm not familiar with her causing flames like that."

 

 

"That's because I did it!" Eria and Gagagigo turned to the clown behind them.

 

"You monster," Gagagigo snarled. "You...what did you do!?"

 

"Simple, all your teeny little friends have been burnt a cinder in that little house over their. Oh, just thinking about it is filling me up!"

 

"You bastard!" Gagagigo screamed. "You won't get away with this!"

 

"Hehehe, don't try me."

 

"Gagagio!" Eria cried. "Let's take this guy down!"

 

"Ooh, you two have guts. I can't wait to see them sprawled at my feet!"
