JadenxAtemYAOI
I've always used photobucket URLs so this may be the problem but what about using GIF images for custom card making? Sure it would be in the others section or Pop culture but it would be a new thing to do. I know that there a lot of GIfs that would make the card look horrible and I understand that. the only major problem I can find is having the right amount of pixels and bytes
Kaisu
If you do that, it'll have to be like this. Get Card image (Save it to comp.)Open up an image manipulating program (GIMP, PS, etc.)Layer the slides of the GIF onto the card, keep the card image on the each layer.Save as GIF animation. Not a lot of people know how to do that and the card system might resize it and cause the site to crash
Guest JoshIcy
And there you go. You answered your own question. Adding .GIF's adds extra load to the site, especially larger ones. And many users and children like GIF's (as I've seen on various websites and MSN users); this would only add stress to the website and eat up bandwidth better used elsewhere. While it is possible, please keep it to the people who have some knowledge of Graphical Programs.
Saturn of Elemia
If I ever download a GIF, I go to Paint and change it to a JPEG - but that's just me.
