Solar Voyage~The OoC and Planning Thread {Started/Still Accepting by PM}

Hey guys, its me, Willpower_9. You may know me from my Solar Voyage RP that just opened. Yeah, since the RP takes place across the galaxy, I figured it would be natural to open a planning thread so people could give me suggestions for aliens, planets, and other stuff like that that they want to encounter in the RP. So yeah, this thread is for people who want to help me and kabuto in planning the great voyage across the galaxy. And for helping players who join in be able to get whats happened easier than scrolling through the RP. Also, if you want to make a comment on how to make the RP better, here's the place to do it.

[spoiler=[b]~Stuff Up Until This Point[/b]]

1. The crew of the Challenger II board the ship. Some conversation, usually involving the captain.

2. Departure comes around. While talking to the U.S.E. Minister of Military Affairs, the ship is attacked by M.A.C.E., a extremist terrorist group against the U.S.E.

3. M.A.C.E. infiltrates the ship, and takes command of, well, Command.

4. In a daring move, Captain Grayson alerts the ship to what's going on.

5. Crew begins fighting back, starting in the corridors and spreading to the Command port.

6. M.A.C.E. is overthrown by the combined effort of crew. Surviving rebels sent back to U.S.E. Command.

7. Despite the wishes of General Blacke, Grayson chooses to forgo repairs and complete departure.

8. Cryo is introduced. Some of the crew members leave to take the next couple of months off, right up until they reach the edge of the solar system. However, on the advice of Lyle Carter, a watch is set up to cover the time it takes up until that point.

9. An emergency awakens all sleeping crew members, and everyone rushes to see what is attacking them.

10. Attackers proven as Alyphn, a alien race than only attacked them to keep them from attacking them without listening to what they had to say.

11. Commander Ra, leader of the Alyphn attackers, speaks with Captain Wakefield. Alyphn wishes proven to be that they want to chaperone the Challenger II crew to see if the time is right for the humans to join the galactic scene.

12. Daei, a Alyphn, boards the ship. She is the chaperone assigned to Challenger II.

13. Second in Command Cross Carter calls a conference when possible chance of aliens (aggressive, unlike the Alyphn) appears.

14. Current Time

 

The latest post will always say current time, which shows you that the RP goes up until that point.

The Suggestions Box has been created to hold all the suggestions made for the RP. If you like a suggestion here that another person made, say, I like Suggestion #2, or something like that. The more liked a suggestion, the more likely I'll put it in the RP.

 

 

Suggestions

 

Suggestion #1: Spartan919 said, "What if, after we finally take off, we find some planet that has a non-oxygen atmosphere, and we have to wear masks? And then, there are hostile aliens that can breathe this that live there, and attack us?"

 

Suggestion #2 jeroukoo said, "Find a planet filled with a bunch of war-hungry aliens who have only swords and clubs, attack the ships fuel supply, were stuck on the planet for awhile, the find some fuel before or after or guns run out of ammo?"

 

Suggestion #3 magnet soldier said, The ship is shot by an unknown enemy, and the engines fail. The Ship is left floating in space, occasionally getting shot by an unknown enemy. The only things in the ship that are working are the crews guns, and the life support system. The auxilary drive was damaged, but will be repaired in 2 days. Occasionally, strange, black clad humanoid creatures attack the ship, armed with laser rays with an unlimited ammo supply, that cut through everything it touches. These beams strech for five metres.

Hmm...okay? Yeah, I get what you're saying...they're are stranded on a planet, surrounded by bloodthirsty aliens, and they're running out of ammo...Nice, nice. Added to Suggestions Box.

Name: Lance Corpral William Straube

 

Class: Enginner

 

Age: 26

 

Appearance: Straube is lanky. That pretty much sums up Straube, lanky. He stands at 6'3", barely weighing 160 lbs. He also has a very big head (which is buzz cutted) compared to his body and wears glasses. Straube always wears his uniform with his rank on it, a Lance Corporal on his shoulder. He isn't very paranoid about his uniform, occasionally there will be sauce stains after eating a pizza or pasta, but they would vanish within the week.

 

Personality: Straube is timid most of the times, the reason why he has few friends. When he talks with people he knows, he still says very little and is more like of he ear of the conversation. In the rare occasion he goes to battle, he stays behind and makes sure his aim is perfect, otherwise he'll miss. Back to Straube's socil life, he always studders when talking to unkown people, especialy with females. He has never had a girlfriend in his life, and it looks like it's going to stay that way.

 

Bio: Straube had always been a mechnical repairing type. Even at a young age, Straube fixed things from coffee machines to automobiles. At a young age, Straube also made a little personal invention. It was a system for games that could play any game. It took him awhile, but at age 16 (9 years of working on it) he built it and put it into a science fair. This caught the attention of the goverment, even though it was just a game system. They could see potential in William, and so they made him an enginneer of NASA. Years passed and the news about the space travel exploration got to Straube. He himself did not want to go on the exploration, but his excellent mechanic skills forced him to do so.

There are a couple of things I would like improved on Straube.

 

1.) I clearly see you're trying to make him a nerdy type. However, this makes his personality rather flat. Please add a little depth beyond nerdy-dude-who-can't-talk-to-girls.

 

2.) Spelling mistakes GALORE. Please look through it and change them. Examples include Corpral, socil, and enginneer.

 

3.) Finally, please explain why the government made William a engineer at NASA. Computer games and rocket launches are not alike. And at age 16, of all things? What the heck?

 

This might seem stricter than usual, but the word quality of my RP seems to have gone down, and I wish to rectify that.
