Bakugan: Modern Brawlers [started/accepting] (PG-13) *PLEASE POST!!!*

"Helies Stratinoid stand! Time to take it up a notche Strata! Double Ability activate! Ice Spear plus Helies Reactor!" Strata flew up into the air as her wings and tail bacame glued to her body and she glowed a pale white. Pillars of ice errupted over the field as Strata began to spiril downward. She was heading right toward Sireniod. Hannah knew Dante had something planned and twirled the card behind her back. Hopefully this works if he tries to pull something., Hannah thought. She watched and waited for what Dante was going to do next. So far he and Sireniod were proving a tough pair. All the more fun., Hannah thought.

[The Dragon Duelist]

HE laughed as the field began to glow blue. "Gate Card open! Dark Seas!" Sirenoid disappeared as the field became covered with a black water. "Dark Seas let's me avoid attacks and causes your bakugan to loose a hundred Gs." He smirked as he held up a card in his hand. "And it allows me to set up one of my most devestating Combos!" He held up the Ability Card. "Ability Activate! Song of Demise!" He held up another card smirking. "Double Ability Activate! Omega Hurricane!" The water began to shake and wind caught up. "Now you loose another hundred Gs while my Sirenoid hides under the water." He smirked as Strata was blown back towards Hannah.

[Auralady]

Strata landed and returned to Hannah's hand. Hannah was frustrated but she still smiled, "We've got one last shot Strata. Wanna go for it?" In response Strata folded in on herself and rested in Hannah's hand. Hannah nodded, "Helies Stratinoid stand! It's all down to this Strata!" Strata again didn't say anything but sent a beam of ice into the air again and gazed at Sireniod. Hannah held got ready and watched the surface in case Dante and Sireniod tried to use a card like Dark Seas again. Even if they didn't this would still have some effect., thought Hannah. "Come on you two. We're ready and waiting!"

[The Dragon Duelist]

He smirked as he held up a card. "I am sorry, but I have to do this." He looked at Sirenoid and she nodded. "Ability Activate! Spear of Atlantis!" Sirenoid's Harp disappeared and a huge Trident shot out of the water. "Sirenoid you ready?" She nodded again as he pulled out another card. "Double Ability Activate! Trident Thunder!" A huge bolt of lightning shot it as Sirenoid threw it. "This Double Ability allows me to end this quickly by giving Sirenoid 200 Gs."

[Barian Warlord]

Adam watched as the two battled. "Hm, they both look like they could be quite troublesome to battle, have you gotten used to your battle gear yet Tira." "You know I hate that name and yes, but I won't need it against such wimps come on,lets take them both down." Adam looked at the bakugan perched on his shoulder. "You know I'm not the type to underestimate my opponents besides if I'm going to have a one hundred percent chance of victory then we will need the battle gear unless your saying your used to the alternative." "Gr you know I can't do that yet so fine I won't underestimate them but I still say I'd win."

(Can we do that 6 traps combine with 1 bakugan to become a super bakugan cuz if we can then I plan to do that later.)

"Wow that was really a challenge. Now I see why you're the best Aquos Brawler in town. You and Sireniod make a great team.", Hannah said as the battle ended and she walked up to Sireniod and Dante. She held out her hand to Dante smiling. It wasn't like loses didn't phase her but she and Strata saw loses as a great learning experience. Besides, we both had lots of fun., Hannah added to herself. Strata hoped up on Hannah's shoulder, "That was very impressive.", Strata made a bowing motion to Sireniod, "I would like to battle you again some time." "I think that makes two of us Strata.", Hannah looked from Date and Sireniod to the Bakugan and back again.

[The Dragon Duelist]

He chuckled taking her hand. "We had a blast too didn't we Sirenoid?" She nodded as she spoke. "We would love to battle you again some time. We always enjoy challenges." Dante laughed and looked at his bakugan. "You were as beautiful and tough as always." His bakugan instantly lit up as a bright red. "T-Thank you master." He smiled as he looked back to Hannah. "Maybe next time we can both go all out instead of fooling around." He smiled warmly to her as he thought for a moment.

[Auralady]

"Now that I really can't wait for.", Hannah laughed. "Agreed.", Strata said nodding. After a minute, "So you two headed anywhere then?" Hannah had no idea what suddenly prompted the question but she didn't try to correct it. Who knew. Maybe they could talk more about there experiences or maybe Dante had some ideas of how the Bakugan ended up in the real world. She had asked Strata but it turned out Strata herself was even drawing up a blank. So maybe, where she and Strata weren't sure, dante and Sireniod knew something. And if they were leaving right away then she and Strata could go see if they could dig up any information on the Dragon Lord and his dragoniods.

David was like a ghost on the streets, when he hunted for opponents that is.

Ofcourse, he could be seen but it was rare that anyone heard him before it was much to late for them to evade him.

He needed a new opponent, someone that acctually had some power and hopefully enough to make Hydranoid pass the limit to where his battlegear would fuse properly.

 

At the corner of his eye he saw two brawlers and from what he could tell, they had joust finished their brawl

(It´s mainly a guess, he doesn´t know if it´s true)

"Maybe one of them" Hydranoid spoke, clearly reffering to the two brawlers David just noticed.

"Perhaps, but maybe not, from what I can tell, they have just finished a brawl so their bakugans are likely tired" He replied calmly.

He gazed out over the open streets, looking for other options.

But unfortunately, he didn´t seem to have any, atleast not in these parts.

If any other possible brawlers acctually weren´t arround in this part of the city or if they were simply avoiding him, he didn´t know.

 

(To clarify, David is slightly know for appearing out of what many times seems like nowhere and challenging people to a brawl, often those he or any of his few friend hold grudges against)

Strata suddenly turned around. Hannah looked at her, "Strata what is it?", she asked but soon her question was answerd for her. Another boy with a Bakugan on his shoulder had appeared out of what seemed like nowhere at all. She squinted her eyes and looked more closely at the Bakugan on his shoulder. It was black and dark purple which ment it's attribute was Darkus. The darkness element. After another moment Hannah realized why Strata had looked at them. Aside from the fact that they appeared out of thin air she could now tell that the Bakugan was another dragoniod like Strata. Of course she wasn't thinking about brawling again so soon. Strata worked hard and needed a little rest before brawling again but it was still interesting to see them there.

(To be fair, Hydranoid is technically not a dragonoid as far as I know and if you look at it´s name, it probably isn´t intended as one either. But a Hydranoid and a Dragonoid are REALY similar exept for Hydranoid not having wings, but for the RP I can go allong with it being a guess depending on what she could see, if it´s ok with you)

 

"Your reputation must be preceding you" Hydranoid spoke with a slight tone of boredom in his voice, he wanted to brawl more than anything right now.

"That necessarily doesn´t have to be a bad thing since it keeps the trash of you" David replied with a slight smile before someone tapped him on the shoulder.

He turned around to be greeted by a boy, about the same age and height as him and dressed in a light blue t-shirt and jeans but ironically wearing a red gauntlet, hinting that he must be a Pyrus brawler.

"Up for a brawl?" The boy asked, not threatening but as far as possible from friendly.

"My little brother hasn´t been the same ever since you defeated him and I´m going to make you pay for ruining him"

 

David sighted to himself, he could faintly remember a dark haired young boy, around 13 if he had to guess and self-confident beyond ANY possible limits.

Like many others, he had challenged David in hopes of defeating him.

His Subterra Centripod fell before Hydranoid in what to David hardly could be a minute even though technically time stood still while they were brawling, and he had enjoyed seeing the boy in his broken and beat down state after that.

But now, apparently, that ridiculous amount of self-confidence seemed to go in the family.

"I´ll take you on" David glanced over the streets "But not here"

"This would make a rather crowded and small arena for a brawl and I would hate to see anyone getting hurt while I deal with trash like you" David spoke with a grin.

"What did you call me?!" The other boy replied, clearly angered.

"Just follow me"

Irene walked along looking for other opponents. "Irene, isn't that Hannah and Strata?", Foxen asked. Irene stopped and looked on the other side of the street. There was Hannah. She was standing on a sidewalk by the river and was talking to a boy. Strata was visiable on her shoulder. "Yes it is Hannah and Strata too.", Irene's gaze went to the boy who had an Aquos Bakugan on his shoulder, "And that is Dante and Sireniod." "Arn't they the best Aquos team?", Foxen asked suddenly figeting on Irene's shoulder. Irene laughed because she knew what her partner was thinking. "Yes but it looks like they just got done with brawling Hannah and Strata....What do you say we go say hello Foxen?" "Let's.", Foxen said. Irene crossed over and walked to the pair. "Hello Hannah. Strata. It's been awhile."

They stopped at what seemed like a small and completely empty football field barely around the corner where they met, both taking places on opposite sides of the field and with ample distance between them.

"Gauntlet Power strike" The field spread, slowing down, to the brink of stopping time for anything outside it.

"Gate Card Set!" The other guy threw a card that outlined red before fading away into the ground.

"Bakugan Brawl, Pyrus Falconeer stand!" A creature, looking somewhat of a mix between a human and a bird appeared on the only gate card on the field.

 

"Do you seriously think that thing can take me down or have you just lost it?"

David didn´t even wait for an answer, this kind of people was the worst and deserved every beating they could get.

"Now, you´ll see what you´re up against, Go Hydronoid!" The ball that was Hydronoid flew in a perfect motion towards the card before landing and releasing Hydranoids true form.

 

A creature that some would say resembled a snake with four legs, dark skin and sharp red spines running all the way to the end of its tail. A blade could be seen growing out of the chest.

Hydranoid roared fiercely and David really enjoyed seeing the look of terror in his opponent’s eyes.

[Psyshock]

Ben sees everybody there."I wonder who they are?"Ben whispers to his bakugan."They look like friends",Tazving replies."Wait, is that what I think it is?They have gauntlets!We should brawl them.Thats just a suggestion.""Maybe we should, but we'll first have to find out who they are, then we can brawl",Ben says.They watch them for a while.Then they slowly walk up to them."Hey, wanna brawl?"Ben asks."My name is Ben Hiratoma, a helies brawler.This is my partner bakugan, Traving.We are best friends.If you accept our challange, be warned.Our friendship is stronger than anything.So, you up for it, any one?"Ben tells everyone around there.

Irene looked at Ben, "My name is Irene and this is my partner Foxen. We'll be happy to oblige you both. We could always go for a good brawl. Not here though." "Yes let's find someplace less crowded.", Foxen agreed. Irene looked at Hannah and smiled. "See yeah Hannah. maybe next time the two of us can brawl again." Foxen nodded, "Untill next time then Strata." Irene started to walk away to find a better and less crowded place to brawl.

 

Hannah waved bye to her old familier. "Yeah. Untill next time then Irene. See yeah.", she waved. "We''ll be waiting then.", Strata added. Hannah turned her attention back to Dante and Sireniod. She sighed. Apperently they weren't going to answer her. Slightly disappointed she turned and walked off waving her hand over her shoulder in farewell. "Were are we going now Hannah?", Strata asked looking at her. Hannah kept her eyes on the sidewalk, "We are going home Strata. To see if we can dig anything up on this guy that calls himself the Dragon Lord."

[Psyshock]

Ben nods."A different place.Follow me",Ben says.He brings you to a big open place in the woods."It ends now.Gauntlet power strike!"Ben yells."I start. Gate Card Set!Bakugan Brawl!Traving Stand."TRAVING 450G."I'm not done yet",Ben tells Irene."Bakugan Trap, Tripod Epsilon!"TRAVING 800G."I'd like to see you do better.I'm sorry, I forgot You Can't!"Ben shouts."Your move Irene. make it quick."

"Gate Card set! Bakugan Brawl! Pyrus Foxen stand!" Foxen appeared on the field. Foxen 450G. "Go Bakugan Trap! Armorwing!" A huge pheonix appeared and attached itself to Foxen's back. The top of Foxen looked like she was coverd in armor and red almost metal-like wings were now attached to her back. Foxen/Armorwing 650. Irene was ready and waiting. "Thisis going to be fun. Let's brawl!" Irene yelled. Of course she wanted to win but if she and Foxen lasted any amount of time against this dragon she would count them lucky. Dragons were the hardest Bakugan to deafeat.

[Psyshock]

"Ha Ha Ha!You fool.Your gs stands now match against mine.Abillity activate!Sub-0!Sub-0 increases my gs by 300 while decreasing yours by the same amount.Our bakugan turn white.TRAVING 1100G FOXEN 350G."My bakugan is bigger, better, and stronger.You don't have a single abillity that can stop me.You don't stand a chance.Give up While you still can",Ben Shouts.Ben Chuckles.He's demolishing Irene in the first round.Traving is attacking with furious punches.Bens smile turns into a frown.This isn't as fun as he thought it would be.But what the heck.He's winning.

"You know now you are really starting to get on my nerves." Irene set two ability cards. "Gate Card open! Character! Now Foxen and Traving's Gs somewhat even out a little more!", Irene yelled. This was definetly tougher then she and Foxen had expected. If they were going to lose then they were going to at least give this guy and his Bakugan a hard time about it. Foxen/Armorwing 500 Gs. Traving 550 Gs. "Now. Double Ability activate Firewall plus Pyrus Reactor! Now Foxen gets 200 from Pyrus Reactor and 190 from Firewall! Not only that but only Pyrus Bakugan and attacks can get past it!", Irene yelled back as Foxen flew up into the air. Foxen 890 and Traving 550. "Go Foxen!" Foxen attacks Traving returnng him and the Trap to Ben. She and Armorwing return to Irene.

Finally, David´s opponent seemed to regain his composure and in a slightly shaking movement, drew two cards from his pocket and inserted it into the gauntlet.

"D-Double Ability Activate, Pyrus-Darkus Correlation and Frame Fire"

Falconeer started glowing red as fire spread around its right fist, raising its G power to 540,

before being released towards Hydronoid in one mighty stream of pure force.

 

"Correlation, I´ve not seen that trick in quite a while. Triple Ability Activate! , Merge Shield, Auragano Revenge and Chaos of Darkness!"

The first created a dark shield that covered Hydranoid and seemed to absorb the entire force of Falconeers attack, silently raising Hydranoids G Power until it was equal to Falconeers.

The second was released as a dark aura, emitting from Hydranoids maw and enveloping him in it before seemingly attack Falconeer and lowering its G power by 100, and adding the same amount to Hydranoid.

The third took shape as a dark purple fireball that also shot out Hydranoids maw and fit Falconeer,

in the process giving Hydranoid another extra 100 G. (Hydranoid G Power 740)

"Now, Fry that bird!"

"Happily" Hydranoid replied shortly before releasing another fireball that, as soon as it connected, made Falconeer revert back into ball form, accompanied by the sound of his masters life force meter hitting zero.

 

As the field closed, David catched Hydranoid, put him back on his left shoulder and left his opponent in the dirt where he fell.

"Nice practice run" He said coldly before leaving.
