If this card is used for the Synchro Summon of an "Iron Chain" monster, remove the top 3 cards of your opponent's Deck from play and deal 400 damage to them. Iron Chain SmithEARTHWarrior/Effect4/1800/1600Once per turn, you can discard a card from your hand to Special Summon a Level 4 or lower "Iron Chain" monster from your Deck, except for "Iron Chain Smith". Iron Chain RappellerEARTHWarrior/Effect3/1000/1500If this card is destroyed, send the top 3 cards of your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard. Iron Chain BindContinuous SpellNegate the effects of cards sent to the Graveyard by the effects of "Iron Chain" monsters. Iron Chain SpearEquip SpellIf you Summon a Warrior-type "Iron Chain" monster, you can equip this card from your Deck to that monster. Equip only to an "Iron Chain" monster. The equipped monster gains 300 ATK. If it destroys a monster by battle, send the top 4 cards of your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard. During your End Phase, if the equipped monster did not attack this turn, deal damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the amount of cards sent from the Deck to the Graveyard this turn x 200. Iron Chain ExtensionContinuous SpellIf a card effect sends cards from the top of the Deck to the Graveyard, send 1 card from the top of your opponent's Deck to the Graveyard. Iron Chain CurrentContinuous SpellActivate by removing from play face-up "Chain" Continuous or Field Spell or Trap Cards you control. This card gains the name(s) and effect(s) of those cards. If this card is removed from the field, add one of those removed from play cards to your hand. Venom ChainContinuous TrapThis card's effects are applied while it exists in the Graveyard also. If a card effect activates in your opponent's Graveyard, and you control an "Iron Chain" monster, you can discard 1 card to negate the activation and effect, and remove from play that card. Gaia Plate Posted May 16, 2010 Report Share Posted May 16, 2010 Wow, I really haven't seen "Iron Chain" in a long while xDHonestly, if any of these cards would come out, I would see "Iron Chain" being a meta archetype with their main focus on a Mill deck. The only thing I can see really is I think "Iron Chain Spear" instead of having a burn effect have a "During your End Phase, if the equipped monster did not attack this turn, send the top 2 cards from your opponents deck to the graveyard." Hey, just an Idea, but maybe make some "Rusty Iron Chain Card" (Just an Idea based off of XX-Sabers, Neo Flameveils, R-Genex?) They could be the "next generation" for the Iron Chain series that instead of Milling from the top of the deck, it Mills from the Bottom? Honestly, it was just an Idea, but this seems like a really great addition to an existing archetype. May I ask if you could PM me a list to your other Archetypes if you have any? Therefore to make it work, there needs to be some burn with the mill. Seeing as how really the only ones insofar actually only mill (with the exception of Repairman), I figure a little more burn wouldn't hurt anyone. The thing about those Archetypes is that they add on a new gimmick that works well with the existing one (R-Genex has its connection with Controller and searches, Neoflamvells utilize grave control as well as burn, XX-Sabers...have kinda taken over). I can't think of a new gimmick that would work with the pre-existing ICs.
