syncro this and syncro that...if you really want to improve this deck by getting in a quick summon then i suggest that you return to basics by using there equip effects and by paying full attention of what type of monster they are to get a better understanding of how they work instead of "rolling with the times" of whatever new thing is coming out, here is my personal deck i built that placed second in my local tournament against some of the toughest "swarm beatdown" decks that are currently built,so take a good look at it and maybe you will learn something from a veteran......

Monsters 21

X 2 Phoenix Gearfried

X 2 The Creator

X 3 Evocator Chevalier

X 3 UFO Turtle

X 3 Command Knight

Saying that only demonstrates your ignorance...if you people continue to ignore the basics of the game then it would be the equivalent of a boxer going into a fight without a jab, your moves will only fall apart and your deck will be disorganized. There is a reason why my deck placed a high rank in my last tournament, its because i know what i am doing since i have been playing this game since the very day it came to canada around ten years ago and the very first thing i learned about the game was every single rule from the yugi starter deck booklet as well as learning everything there is to know about every single card i am using. If this person really wants his deck to get better then he "must" start from the beginning by "returning to the basics"......

The originally posted Deck was vastly superior, stop acting high and mighty when you aren't. I try to be nice, but I can't tolerate people who act like they know more than they do.

Please, play some serious games in the current meta. Steelcage, The Creator, Molten Destruction and a few other things are bad choices.

I am only trying to help you...the fact of the matter is that i know exactly what i am doing by opening my mind to every possible combination available instead of adding in whatever "new thing" that is coming out these days because i am one of the few people that is left from my generation that invent such combos. The fact of the matter is about my deck that i would have never entered it in a tournament if i wasn't serious.I was never saying that i am better than anybody because i am only trying to teach this person everything i know instead of following run of the mill staple decks that people normally splash together. You underestimate what my deck can do just like the person i whipped in my last tournament that ran a "dragon/fusion swarm/beatdown" deck and nobody was more shocked than i was that i got two out of three wins when the battle was over......

All in all Kooley' date=' you should have not bumped this old thread. No matter how bad the deck is, if the last post is more than a month old, do not comment on the thread and move on.

[/quote']

the fact that a little over a month makes a thread old is piss poor and you should be ashamed of yourselves. So far i don't think i've gotten more than one comment on any deck i've posted i'd be happy to see someone was willing to give advice no how old my thread is. I think old is 3 months or more by then several new sets of cards have come out and the meta has changed... also a fun deck is a fun deck and improving a fun in someway is always appreciated.

Dude seriously' date=' I understand the point your trying to make, but most of those cards are bad tech choices. There are newer cards or beeter tech choices than those.

BTW: I'm the official Creator deck poster here.

I beg to differ because the fact of the matter is that i have ten years of experience that came in second place in a tournament that is telling you different. You will never learn anything new unless you banish all thought of using whatever new cards that have come out or that will be coming out.You must forget about time and date as well as using staples or splashable cards that are on the list in order to make or even invent combos that can and will be stable in a deck if you use them the right way......

OBJECTION!

If we were to ignore time and date when choosing cards and creating combos' date=' we would include the new with the old. This is in direct contradiction to your previous claim that new cards should not be used in a deck.

On top of that, you claim that we focus solely on newer cards, but when you look around the forum, you note that a sizeable portion of the decks merge new and old cards to create more interesting combos that themselves are "stable." Look at Luffy Laxer. You yourself consider the Creator to be an "old" card, and his combos are stable, mostly.

While the meta (admittedly) discourages creativity, people still persevere. Take Happy Heralds for example. It combines a plethora of "old" cards (Advanced Ritual Art, Mokey Mokey, Happy Lover) and "new" cards (Preparation of Rites, Herald of Perfection) to create a supreme combo that caught many eyes.

But one cannot limit themselves to a portion of the game when there is more and better to explore. If you stick to "old" cards, eventually you'll run out of decks to make. With the new AND the old, your possibilities open up immensely, and you can never run out of ideas and decks.

You have missed my point entirely, the message i am trying to send is that people should learn from the past and apply the knowledge from the past along with the knowledge of the present.Once you return to the basics as well as learning from the booklet you will have a better understanding of how you can build your deck, that is the whole idea of using the old cards it is so you can learn from the experience and form a deck that uses all elements and every bit of knowledge from past experiences.
