Everyone stop talking about all this crap and worry about one thing. Let's acctually work on helping to make this deck work.

 

Step 1: Win Condition/theme.

 

We still haven't finished Step 1. Going to Step 2 is silly.

We can help him select a theme by giving him different lists.

 

By "We" you mean everyone but yourself right...? Having you give him anything would be detrimental to the cause...

 

We can't give him a list of anything if he doesn't have a deck he wants us to help him with.

The TC is just wining over all the negative feedback. But honestly, were just stating whats right.

 

TC, just be honest with us and say: "I want to be a noob and build a deck around powerful card [X]". THEN we can be happy to help you.

Until then, dont make something inconsistant and think its a deck.
