She is great in her Genera, Pop. She isnt a fail artist. If u only like metal and rock etc then u dont like her because shes pop. Doesn't make her a fail artist. Tik Tok i dont like but mainly because i dont like Pop. Anyone that says shes a fail artist is worng because the money shes making isnt fail. I dont like her but only because she seems like slut. and i dont like her type of music. Kiss and Tell by her i like though.

Ke$ha is a horrible singer, with horrible lyrics, horrible music, and just horrible songs in general.

 

Even Lady Gaga is better than her, and coming from me, that is saying a LOT.

 

What is with 96.4% of pop singers being stupid and horrid? I originally thought pop music was decent. <_<

Ke$ha does fail, she is a whore, and those who like her must be partially musically impaired, as her songs don't seem to have any musical talent whatsoever, and this includes her singing. Her lyrics are generic and terrible, and her beats and instruments have been done better by many other artists. She sucks.

I think the problems with singers like her, or Lady Gaga, or whoever is really popular right now, is for one that she's heavily, and with that I say HEAVILY mass-marketed. Marketing artists is usually not that bad, I mean if you want someone to become more well-known you can't lock them up in a hole...and Kesha's ideals are actually not that bad, all this wild image stuff (album is called Animal) and protests against playback performance. But I think if they toned that horrible mass-mass-mass-marketing down and stopped putting her on every ringtone ad it wouldn't annoy people that much.

 

Mind you, the same thing happened with Unheilig (!) in Germany.

 

But I still stand on my stance, she was pretty cool in that Right Round song with Flo-Rida but that Tik Tok is meh. Pretty catchy but she's not the great singer she wants to be, far from it! If she stopped with the entire self-advertisment and putting herself up like something she's not she'd be taken a bit more seriously, at least from me.

 

But whatever, just no.

^^^Thats basicly what your saying. and also dumbass i didnt direct the post to you so i really dont care what you like. Yes her voice isnt the best but most pop artist arent that good at singing. Thats why pop has auto-tune and all that voice changing stuff. You dont see that much in other type of music that often. Lyrics are terrible to you but to someone who loves RnB and pop music, they would like the lyrics. Your reasoning is basically because you dont like Pop. I dont really like her either because shes a pop artist and thats not my type of music.

Her lyrics are meh, I give you that, but you have to realize that Ke$ha is still amazing. She doesn't bring anything too too special, however, a lot of her songs are really catchy. Blah Blah Blah is a great example. It's about her going to a bar, and looking to score, except every guy sucks. This is really contrasting to every other female artist out right now(save Gaga, who is just as good), as they focus on the actual love part of the relationship.

 

Her beats in the song bring to mind a techno rave song you'd hear in a club, which helps.

 

Also, even if she is a whore, doesn't mean she isn't talented.

You can tell when someone has put actual thought into their song lyrics, and when someone stole some cliche sheet and threw it together with some uncreative concepts. R&B & Pop can have creative lyrics, too. Second off, didn't I state I like most genres, or at least branch out? I like a couple pop bands, not many at all, maybe two, but I still can listen to them. Care to try this again?
