Generator Rex: Providence Helpers [started/accepting] (PG-13) *PLEASE POST!!!*

Recteik hated Van Kliess's castle it was to depressing, and he couldn't blow up anything without getting in trouble. When he agreed to jion the Pack he was promised all the demolition he could handle but so far he hadn't even been able to leave the bloody castle.

 

He was in the garden when some EVO walked up to him,"Master Kliess wishes to see you. Fallow me." The EVO led Recteik to Kliess's inner chambers. "Aaah, Recteik just the man I needed. I have a job for you," Kliess's word oozed with false respect. "What do you want me to do? . . . MASTER!" Recteik Chewed that word before spitting it at Kliess. Van Klless glared at him but didn't call Recteik on his insult.

"I want you to go to Chicago and cause some damage, not much, but some untill Provdence gets there. Then let loose and go wild, but don't hurt Rex or Providence's new pet, Emily Rayless. Oh, and I've sent Carbon in to providence as a spy. Treat him as a Traitor, but don't kill him."

 

Recteik cracked a wicked grin,"Yes, Master."

((FYI Carbon was sent to Providence to act as a spy for Van Kliess since he and Emily used to be friends. Try reading the first page. If you fallow the plot then you can post Van Kliess if you want, I was doing it but I think you might be better then I am. I am posting Doctor Holiday though for now.))

 

Shade appeared at the side of the throne. She had been using her abilities and heard the whole conversation. “You really think the plane will work Master?”, she asked Van Kliess keeping her tone nuteral. Not disrespectfull, not lying, nuteral. She waited for Van Kliess to either give her an assingment or just dismiss her. She was genuinely loyal to Van Kliess and even when he did not tell her something spacific she always knew what he wanted her to do…search for other Providence agents and find out what they could do. She loved messing with others by using her Nanites to disappear but still fallow her quary. But she wasn’t foolish. Shade knew better then to leave without Van Kliess’s dismissal even when she knew what she was sapposed to do.

 

((Anyone want to try to pull off a at least decent Six? It would be easier to have some help and I really do not want to butcher the already exsisting characters.))

 

Emily sighed and exited the arena as the Crocadile was taken away by other Providence members. She stopped and looked at Six. She was waiting for the feedback on her practice and any news that might have occurred while she was practicing. She rubbed her arm that had hit the wall pretty hard when she was cought by the Crocadile’s massive tail and winced slightly. If Six didn’t have any news for her Emily would go to Doc Holiday and figure out how her biometrics did during the practice seasion. She thought about using her abilities but thought against it, Six would know what I was doing right away., she reasoned. “Well…..”, she said trying to coax something out of him.

Rectiek stepped out of the portal. He was in the middle of a lovly little park. It was late so there were no kids around. He did a quick look around just some teens making out. They were staring at him. He smiled,"Wanna see something cool?" He drew his hand back and loosed a beam of energy toward the nearest tree. BOOOOOOOMMM The tree went up like a match. The teens ran for it. With a laugh he started destroying everything. "COME ON, PROVIDENCE I WANNA PLAY!!"

The alarm went off and Providence agents were running down the hallways to the hangers. Emily looked expectingly at Six as she raised an eyebrow. “There’s an EVO attacking in the park.”, Six said. “Porteal park!”, Emily yelled and sure enough there were people running and screaming in the park. It wasn’t someone Emily recognized from before the Nanite incident or from recruiting but he looked very powerful. A smile played on Emily’s face. “Finally someone else to fight other then the Crocadile!”, she said. She saw the Providence agents arrive and tried attacking the EVO. When will you guys learn., she thought to herself, Six is possibly the only other agent of Providence that would stand even a remote chance. She ran through and emerged in the park on the other side. “Emily you there?”, Doctor Holiday’s voice. “Yeah I’m here Doc. And ready to go!” She took her hand off the earpiece, ”Hayesphe!”, and Emily sent a shockwave of energy that threw the other EVO into a parked car, “You know, it’s not very nice to destroy a public place. It might get you in trouble.”, she grinned. You said you wanted to play and so here I am., she thought.

 

Taking Van Kliess's silence as her cue to go Shade left through the portal. Of course she ended up right were she was sapposed to be..the park. She grinned. Not far off Emily was there and a good few feet in front of her was Rectiek. By the looks of it: Emily's arms with the blue pattern on them and Rectiek's current state: Shade judged her thought was right about Emily throwing him back with a blast of energy. She walked over to the two and placed her hands on her hips, "So much for getting Emily. It seems like she got you instead.", Shade laughed and then turned her head to look back at Emily. "You're comming with us Emily. Van Kliess wants to see you...but that doesn't mean we can't have a little fun first." Laughing Shade used her Nanites and completly blended into her surroundings. Now let's play!, she thought as she attacked Emily.

Recteik was sore to say the least. Metal wasn't ment to give like that and wasn't very comfy. When he looked for the brat that threw him he was surprised to see Shade. She was fighting the Providence Brat. "Well, guess that means its time to party!" He climed out of the recked car,"Shade the brats all yours!" He turned his etention to the small army Providence had amassed,"Too easy!" He took a deep breath in letting the energy build, and loosed it in a very wide beam. When he closed his mouth the beam stopped. Every agent was down. He ran deeper into the city,"I'll level this whole city!" He was laughing maniackly when he reached the Hancock building. "This should do," He cackled. He took another deep breath and let the energy build in every part of his body. A single blast thats all it'll take. Then Chicago will be a distant memory.

[Auralady]

Dr. Holiday ran from Carbon's room and into the Lab. "Emily what's going on? Shade's there but the other EVO isn't." The reply was exactly what Dr. Holiday had expected, "Tell me something I don't know Doc.! what I need to know is info like where he is headed and I could also use a partner out here! Maybe that Crcadile will be enough to keep Shade busy while I handle the new threat?" Doctor Holiday pulled up a file on the new EVO,"His name's Recteik. He's a member of The Pack and let's lose violent energy discharges." Task one ceompleted. For a moment Dr. Holiday considerd sending Carbon to help Emily but she chose against it. He's bound to have heard the alarms but he could change at any moment. He has to stay away from Emily or keep minimal contact with her untill I figure something out., she told herself.

 

"Wheres he headed?", Emily asked dodging Shade's blows before using her Nanites to blow her into the side of a brick building. That should keep you down!, she thought trumphently. "The Hancock Building. Emily, if he manages to bring that down he can ruin all or at least half of the city.", Doc. Holiday's voice came over the earpiece. "I'm on it.", Emily took her hand off of the earpiece. "Not enough time to get there with a a Providence Ship so...PORTEAL HANCOCK BUILDING!", Emily raced through the portal and emerged on the other side five feet away from the hancock Building. The hard part is going to be stoping Recteik without causing damage or bring down that place for him., the marks on Emily's arm reappeared. She knew she had only one choice....to get Recteik away from the building before he attacked. But emily would do better then that because she would get him away from the CITY instead. "Porteal! Hayesphe!" A portal opened up behind Recteik and the blast of energy Emily let go threw him through the portal before he could let his attack on the building go. Emily fallowed him through before it closed and both EVOs came through on the other side. Emily didn't roconize the place but at the moment she was more worried about her opponent. Suddenly realizing he still was biulding up for an attack the bearly visable shield appeared.

[Recteik Shade]

"Supose you think you've saved that city Brat but, I've still got more power than you!" Recteik wouldn't let enough loose to kill her but she was gonna feel this one even with that sheild. He glanced around it was the sun was rising and he could see the dunes,"The Sahaira!? You ported me into the middle of a burning wasteland!?" Recteik Raored and sent his power in every direction at once. The sand boiled an turned to glass. And Emily's sheild shattered. The explosive force set her flying. He stopped his discharge,"Used a little more energy than I ment to but it was worth it to knock you out." He limped over to her, she was out cold. He pull out a com device,"I've got her I need a portal outa here." When it opened he walked through the portal with Emily slung over one shoulder.

[Auralady]

"Emily!? Emily!?" Nobody answerd and according to the screens Dr. Holiday could tell Emily was down for the count and they were no longer in the Sahaira Desert where Emily had ported herself and Recteik. "Six Emily's gone.", she looked at Six when he rentered the Lab, "Recteik knocked her out cold after she ported the two of them to the desert. I can't get anything on her except she is still out." Six looked at her and she nodded understanding. They didn't have time to worry about needing minimal or no contact. Dr. Holiday went up to Carbon's room with Six and opened the door to find Carbon where she had expected him to be. "Carbon time to put your controll over that Parasite to the test. Emily's been taken somplace by an EVO named Recteik."

Carbon nodded. He had earphones on during the alarm, & he ran out. "I'll go alone. This EVO *Beeps* me off ALL THE TIME." He said. He ran out of the lab & jumped to EVO form. He rocketed to the desert. "So, Recteik. Wanna rumble?" He asked, throwing the first punch. "You know, I wasn't ever a Pack member. It's the controlling parasite." He started firing from long distances & flying around to cause his confusion.

Emily began to stir and opened her eyes slowly. For some reason she was looking down at the ground, moving and seemed to be floating. Then she felt a hand holding her and she rememberd everyhting. She had ported Recteik to the Sahaira Desert and fallowed him before he let lose an astonishingly powerfull blast of energy that shatterd her shield. It must have knocked me out to., she realized. She raised a hand and put it on her forehead. Emily was sore all over and her head hurt like it had been slammed against a brick wall by a beam of iron. She tried to get her bearings but her brain was still a little fuzzy and she was bearly able to make out the new landscape. "Put me down!", she yelled at Recteik as she struggled to free herself from his grip. For a moment she completly forgot she was an EVO and about the Nanites. It probly wouldn't do that much good anyway., she thought, My biomentrics must be low after that blast of energy. Then again I have been destracted lately.

 

What was he doing? Six decited to remind Carbon what he was there to do. "Carbon. What are you doing? Stop messing around, get Emily and get out of there!" Doctor Holiday looked at him and took over, "Carbon your biometrics are stable for now and Emily's are starting to increase but you have to get her and get out of there. If Shade or Van Kliess shows up or you start to change we will be in bigger rouble then we already are.", Dr. Holiday told him through the earpiece she had tossed him before he took off to fallow Reciek.

Recteik was surprized the little brat was moving at all let alone struggling to escape him. "SHUT UP!!! AND Stop struggling I promised Van Kliess You would be reativly undamaged. And I won't have you make a liar outta me!" He carried her throught the castle untill he got to Van Kliess's throne. "As promised one Providence Brat hold the onions." Recteik cackled at his own wit. "She all yours I'm outta here." Recteik turned and left the room.

 

((Van Kliess))"Dear girl welcome to my home I hope Recteik didn't hurt you to badly. But I had to speak with you. Rex refused my invitation but hopefully your smarter than he is." He stood and walked to her. "Dear girl think of what I and the pack could teach you. You would no longer be tied to Providence and its tight regulations. Here you would be free. And all you have to do is take my hand and promise to serve me." He reached out with his hand and waited for an awnser.

Emily thought for a minute and looked from Van Kliess's out streached hand to him. She stood upand looked at him right on through narrow eyes. She began to back up, "Yeah, he was the smart one. The only way I would join you and The Pack ,Van Kliess, is if you left me with no other consievable choice! Even then I would have to think for awhile! My answer is still the same when you last tried to recrute me!" The blue marks on her arms appeared. She knew she probly just signed her death sentence but Van Kliess wasn't the only one who had controll over plants. Not to mention he sends any plant towards me and I'll either freeze time or burn it to a crisp!, she thought defiently, Now if I could just get out of here I can port back to Providence.

Carbon took a punch right into Kleiss. "You know, that wasn't really me fighting for you. It was my virus in it's stages." He said. He snickered & fired a rocket. A Duo of Chipmunks dove on Kleiss & held his eyes shut. "Emily, get away!" He gestured to her to leave. "Ace, Nick, doing great on your first mission." He started for his special dive. He crossed his hands & got 50 feet in the air. His boots turned into one boot. He started his descent, spiraling at Kleiss while he's distracted with Ace & Nick. As he neared, "ACE, NICK, SQUEAK!" The two understood & got out of the way.

Emily was temporarily frozen to the spot but regained her thoughts. Virus? Emily decited to ask Carbon later. She felt stronger now. Recteik's carrying me helped., she looked at Carbon when the dust cleared after he slammed into Van Kliess, One shot at this and if this doesn't work then I hope Six gets here soon in time. She ran forward and grabed Carbon by the arm. Pointing, "Porteal Providence!" The air shifted and swirvled into a portal with Dr. Holiday and Six in the lab on the other side. Still holding Carbon by the arm and the chipmunks behind Emily pulled him through the portal before it closed. "Ahhh!!", Emily came tumbling through the portal with Carbon in tow and the two strange chipmunks fallowing. She braced herself on her forearms and looked around panting before smiling. They had made it. They came out of Abysus and ended up on the floor of the Providence Lab.

 

Dr. Holiday and Six turned around, "Emily! Carbon!" Dr. Holiday walked over to them, "So you were right Carbon. Reciek did take Emily to Abysus. It also seems you were able to get out without any trouble." Dr. Holiday looked back over at the screen with Carbon's and Emily's stats on it. Carbon's was still fairly stable while Emily's seem to slowly be increasing from that sudden use of her Nanites so early after Reciek's attack. "What happened there?", she asked walking back over to the monitor and checking everything else.

[Recteik Shade]

Recteik hadn't gone far when he saw Carbon,"Hey where were you? Ya missed the party!" Carbon ran passed him and smashed the cannons into Recteik's face. When he got to his feet he saw carbon fighting Van Kliess. "Woot bonus battle! Now you really are a traitor!" He slamed his hands together releasing a huge beam. It caught Carbon droadside. Cabon went flying but his goal had been accomplished. The Providence Brat had escaped and Van Kliess was very angry.

Emily stood up rubbing her head before reaching down to help Carbon up too. Emily ignored the Doc. for the moment and focused on Carbon. What did you do? But then again, why did Carbon say he was never really a part of The Pack when he nearly cured me a few days ago?, Emily shook her head to clear her thoughts and looked right at Carbon. If he wasn't going to give her an answer she was going to have to use her abilities again and what happened in Kliess's castle really made her feel a little dizy so she hoped she could avoid using her Nanites again. "What virus?", she asked Carbon. Suddenly her mind raced back to the Nanite incident:

They were too close. carbon jumping in front off her. The blast. Screams. Her blacking out and waking up in a dark ally to find she was an EVO and Carbon wasn't there. Joining Providence.....

She opened her eyes and looked at everyone staring at her. She understood now. It was a Parasite that made Carbon hostile. Emily began to walk toward the Lab door but stoped at the enterence and looked back, "My head hurts so I'm going to take a rest. See you later. And welcome to Providence Carbon." With that Emily walked off and down the hallways to her door. She opened it and went inside before sitting on her bed. I just need to relax a little. Fighting Reciek and being carried off by him and then Carbon showing up and this Parasite thing is a little too much to absorb in one day., Emily thought.

Shade approached Van Kliess. "Master, I have new news that may be disturbing. The number of Providence agaents are steadily growing just as our own numbers. The newest Providence agent that we know about, aside from Emily, is named Jaime." Shade continued looking at Van Kliess. She showed she wasn't afraid but she showed somewhat more respect. When Van Kliess was angry it was dangerous for anyone to be around him. She stood there and waited for a response. She knew Reciek was in the room too. She had passed him on her way into the castle's throne room. At least he asn't able to stop Carbon and Emily from escaping. Should have known this was going to happen., she thought to herself.
