Generator Rex: Providence Helpers [started/accepting] (PG-13) *PLEASE POST!!!*

NOTE: I really had to make an RP for the new Generator Rex series so here it is.

Rex needs help fighting Van Kliess, The Pack and other rampaging EVOs. Providence sent out a search for other EVOs like Rex to help with the increasing problem. At the same time Van Kliess has been recruting more and more fallowers as well. With the attacks and threats from Van Kliess's new fallowers can the new agents of Providence help Rex stop the bad guys before the city falls under the deranged man's complete controll? What side are you on?

bio./history (optional): Emily grew up and lived the normal life of a young girl in the city. She and Carbon were old friends before the Nanite incident but they were to close to the explosion when it happened. When Emily woke up she was alone in an ally and soon discovered she was an EVO. She had Nanites in her system that allowed her to manipulate energy in many forms. When the recruiting started she was recruited by both Providence and The Pack like most of the others that were being recruited. At the time she was shy and basically afraid of other people due to her new abilities. She didn’t trust Van Kliess and The Pack so she tried Providence and ended up staying to become a new Providence agent. Now due to Providence she is anything but the shy and afraid little girl she was when recruiting first began.

Emily walked down the streets. It was a beautifull day and she was glad to get out of the Providence HQ for awhile. The new recruting program had started three months ago, thats when Emily was recruted to join Providence. It wasn't that bad...ok...so it was a big pain sometimes but she was comfortable around other people now because of Providence. Consequently she chose to stay on, Not to mention it is a lot of fun kicking butt., she laughed. Emily absentmindly touched the strange looking rock at her neck and droped her hand. Nobody else knew she was an EVO aside from Provience and they really didn't need too. Though relaxed Emily kept her ears and eyes out open for any trouble.

Carbon was offered to join Providence, but he was offered a bit more freedom in the Pack. He then served as a top member of the Pack. But he kept in touch with his old friend, Emily. But his lines got fuzzy. "Van Kleiss, well, the Pack, I like the freedom. Providence may fight EVO's, but here at the Pack, we only have to fight the Providence." He told Kleiss. "The Pack, we don't fight much, so I don't use my Nanites much. I like that."

bio./history (optional): Shade had always had a issue with authority and the law. After the Nanite incident this only increased big time. Even though she can’t blast things, controll nature or anything like that she still doesn’t see herself as the underdog. The only person who she recognizes with authority is her Master; Van Kliess.

 

Van Kliess's eyes narrowed,"You don't like using your Nanites Carbon? I would have thought different after hearing how well you used them in fights. Anyway your job is the standerd recruting and fallowing Providence agents.......also stoping Providence agents. You are dismissed." Van Kliess dismissed carbon but watched him go. Once he had left a figure appeared beside the throne,"You wanted me Master?" Van Kliess looked at the new arrivel, Shade. Shade was very usefull do to her abilities from her Nanites and Van Kliess often sent her with othe Pack members as back-up or to make sure they were fallowing orders,"Yes Shade. I want you to go with Carbon." Shade laughed and fallowed Carbon. ((Please tell me if you think I need to work on this which I probley do so it sounds more like Van Kliess))

 

Shade exited Abysus and ended up in an allyway. Though she couldn't see Carbon she knew he was around someplace close by. As she left the allyway she stoped and looked behind her and grinned. There was Emily heading her way. Perfect. Shade leaned against the wall not bothering to use her abilities just yet, she wanted Emily to see her. Quick as a flash Shade slammed Emily to the concreate,"Hello Emily. Tell me, how's being Doctor Holiday's test subject and Providence's tool going?" He rorders were quite clear...stop any and all Providence agents. She laughed again as she went to hit Emily.

 

"Archaic Vanderum!", Emily yelled and held up a hand. The blue pattern appeared on her skin like it allways did when she used her abilities. Shade's attack rebounded off of the bearly visiable shield. Emily watched Carbon disappear after using his abilities,"Carbon?" She hadn't heard from her old friend in awhile and was surprised to see him. Her mind refocused and she looked back at Shade before holding her hand up to the clear sky above. A bolt of lightning shot at the place Shade was or had been not too long ago. She huffed remembering what Shade could do,"Locrator!" When nothing came up she sighed. OF course Shade would use her Nanites as soon as I put up a shield! How could I not see that comming!, Emily thought. The blue markings on her skin disappeared and she kept walking adjusting the earpiece that allowed her to communicate with Providence HQ. Her mind was partically focused on Carbon suddenly appearing.

Carbon saw the beating. "NO! EMILY!" He said, oblivious to her being a Providence agent. Carbon turned into his normal EVO form. "Shade, why are you hurting my old friend Emily? Unless she's a Providence agent, or you REALLY NEED THE NANITES, don't let me hear you destroying her." He fired at Shade & left. He got back to Van Kleiss. "Kleiss, this is important. Is there any files on a Providence agent named Emily Rayless, if she really is one? I really need to know because Shade encountered her, and I knew her before the Nanites incident."

[Auralady]

Kliess got up and tossed something to Carbon,"Shade was acting on orders Carbon. Emily Rayless is an EVO and a Providence agent. I recruted her at the same time providence was recruting but she joined Providence instead. I told her she would waste her abilities with Providence but she till joined them." Van Kliess sat back down looking at Carbon as if expecting a response while he flipped through the file. "You say you knew her before the Nanite incident? Then I guess you didn't know."

 

Shade stoodon top of a building rubbing her arm where Carbon's attack had hit her. For someone that didn't like using his Nanites he was strong. Shade would have stayed and fought Emily again after carbon left but she knew Emily would end up using her Nanites to locate her and then attack her. So she left and decited to do a little fallowing mission instead. Less pain but it was still fallowing Van Kliess's orders. She had learned to fallow Van Kliess and had inention of not listening. She had seen the 'statues' of other EVOs in the Garden and wasn't eager to join them anytime soon or at all. That was just out of the question!

Carbon nodded. "Thank you for the info Kliess. And give Shade my sincerest apologies. Looks like my old best friend can't be trusted anymore." He said, leaving. "I'm going to sabotage a Providence ship. Could I borrow a mask to disguise my-wait, I have a mask in my area." He runs to grab his mask & sabotage an EVO ship. He saw an EVO on the way, & nodded. He had them on his side, & he started firing at the Providence tank, content with firing. He nodded as he continued to fire.

[Auralady]

"Emily one of the ships are being attacked..." Emily cut Six off,"Go stop them I know. I am on it Six." "We're sending nack-up and they are on their way there now.", Six said over the earpiece. Emily held up her hands, "Porteal Providence Ship!" The air she was pointed at seemed to bend and morph and a portal appeared. On the other side was the Providence ship being attacked. Sure enough the back-up had arrived they were holding them off a little but they were still no match for that many EVOs. Right away Emily ran through the portal and reappeared on the ship. Emily wished she had others like her to help but as it stood she was the only one that had recieved the call for now. "Hello boys. This is going to be fun.", Emily smiled as the blue markings stayed.

Carbon started blasting the reinforcements, calling the EVO over to cause more destruction. "As long as she can try, I can fight." He said. He started with an unknown power: Blasting Bombs out. He started doing more damage to the shuttles. His mask over took his face, & his name, well, let's say she will know Carbon's secret. He kept blasting. "As long as I can fight, EVO's can regenerate & keep going. Coming, & going. Coming, and going." He made a speed Bomb, which made it that much more powerful.

Emily raised her hand and the shield appeared covering the reinforcements. She had to act quickly. She had an idea and caused a bolt of lightning to hit the ground close to two of the EVOs which caused them to step backward. While trying to keep the shield up around the attacking reinforcements Emily used her Nanites again to open a portal directly behind the stumbling EVOs. It worked and they fell through before the portal closed. Redirecting her attention, "Pyrasncrn!" Fire ran down the middle of the oncomming forces spliting them into three seperatate groups that would make it a little easier to tackle.

Carbon broke through the shield & into the bunker where Emily was. He smirked. "I didn't think someone like you would do this without a friend." He spoke. "I know where files of your exsistance & former friends. The confrontation in the alley the night before, I know. In fact, I was involved." He held a cannon at Emily. "You will try to cure, but we will keep going! In fact, I think i'll cure you." He turned his other hand into the curing device. "Say goodbye to your life as an EVO. I think The Pack will be greatful of your sacrifice." He cackled. He was about to start to cure Emily.

[Auralady]

All at once Emily realized who was in front of her and what was about to happen if she didn’t act. “I thought you different then Van Kliess. Yes we cure but we cure to help people, not hurt or to use as weapons. Aperently I was wrong about you when my old friend wants to cure me. Ocurros!” Everyone but Emily froze when the blast of strong energy rippled out. Emily stood up and looked at Carbon, “I don’t want to fight you but I will to stop Van Kliess from taking over the city or using other EVOs to do his dirty work. Porteal!” A portal opened behind carbon. “Atmosphe!” A gust of wind forced Carbon through the portal before it closed. Emily sighed but shook her head to clear it. Carbon is a member of The Pack now and your enemy! Get a grip on yourself before the time freeze ends due to you stressing yourself out!, she scolded herself. “Emily you ok? Your biometrics were dangerously low there.”, Doctor Holiday’s voice came through the earpiece. “I’m fine here Doc. Just spaced out for a moment.”, she answered before the time freeze ended and the fight recommenced. This time the other EVOs seemed to stay down when they were hit.

Carbon held out his hand. His heart felt a change. "Help!" He yelled as he was pulled in & pushed back out into Van Kliess. "Kliess, my old form I control overwhelmed me momentarily. Wait, actually last night, I took over Carbon & changed his heart over." The new form explained. "As long as he isn't cured, I cannot be brought out. I'm a parasite, jumping from body to body. But if I get to the same one twice, I go down." It was the parasite talking. But then the real form took over. "VAN KLIESS!" He had a surge of anger as the parasite takes back over. "This happens when my joy gets to high. But when his anger goes too high, I take back over.

"Yes well I can not help you with that I am afraid. I take Nanites from other EVOs and then they turn to stone as you surely know. I believe that you don't want to be a statue in the Garden for all of eternity am I right?" Then Van Kliess got up and walked passed Carbon thinking, "Though this may work to our advantage. You have the ability to cure others and either you or Carbon said you were once Emily's friend. If you let Carbon in controll he could go to Providence HQ looking for help with your problem and this will no doubt be brought about in the joy he feels at seeing his old friend Emily again." Van Kliess grinned and turned to the Parasite seeing if he understood. "You would be free to pass information about Providence, their methods and more and maybe even try curing Emily again."

"Yes, but if it is overwhelmed for too long, a yell across town is heard & I shrivel up. He stays under my control for too long, i'll forever be him & his spirit would turn to dust." He says, taking off. He then ran through the doors. "Are you Doctor Holliday?" He asked her as he was overwhelmed by Carbon. "Can you scan my Nanites? I feel something is wrong, Doc. Could you find it & see if it can be identified & cured?"

[Auralady]

Doctor Holiday looked at the boy,"You're the one Emily sent into the portal! I could scan your Nanites but...lay here and relax." Doctor Holiday motioned to a machine that looked like a MRI machine. She looked back at the computer monitors as she got the machine ready,"Why did you come here though? And why do you want me to scan your Nanites?" Doctor Holiday was a little confused as why a member of The Pack wanted Providence's help. At that moment she was glad she was the only one in the lab right now and Six observing Emily as she practiced in a small arena somewhere else in the HQ.

 

Emily faced the EVO. It was a Cracodile that was exposed to the Nanites and got them in it's system. Not really like fighting a person that was also an EVO but it served for practicing her abilities. She knew Six stood watching through the window. The Crocodile came at her and Emily jumped out of the way but unfortunaetly it was a little faster due to it's Nanites and lashed at her with it's tail. Emily was thrwn back against the wall. She slide down it and landed with her knees bent on her feet. FOCUS!, her subconsious was screeming at her, IT'S A CRACODILE! YOU'VE FOUGHT IT HOW MANY TIMES NOW?! She looked it stright in the eyes and narrowed them trying to focus, "Physie Mindra!" After a minute she opened her eyes. Should have guessed., she thought. She lept out of the way and a second later a huge claw came down on the spot she had just been. Now let's get this over with!, she thought raising her hand and saying, "Geaherilium!" Thick roots exploded out of the earth and wrapped themselves around the EVO Cracodile. She walked up to the struggling creature and put a hand on it, "Better luck next time big guy."

[Christian Exodia]

"Because...I haven't been myself. I fled when I first saw Emily because of fear, not to leave her for dead. Then I tried to cure & kill her. But I tried to fight off what was inside..." He started, but started to change. "Drug me!" He yelled as he transformed. The real difference was that he was hostile. "Doctor Holliday, how did I end here? Oh well, it will be a joy kill-" He changed back to Carbon. He coughed. "Sorry. This is just happening. When I am angry or feel grief, that happens. Please scan me. I know something is wrong. Me & Emily were best friends before the Nanites Incident."

[Auralady]

Doctor Holiday looked at Carbon and nodded, “Ok then. I’ll scan your Nanites and if you do begin to change when you feel anger or greif then lay down on the table there and try to remain calm. Maybe think of something joyful. We’ll start now.” The machine started up as Doctor Holiday began to check all of the machine’s systems to make sure they were functioning properly. Once she was satisfied they were she waited for Carbon to lay on the table in front of the machine so she could scan his Nanites. “Now let’s see what’s going on with your Nanites.”,she said. This was certainly a new case for Doctor Holiday.

Carbon lay, dreaming. He & Emily were together again, the Nanites gone. They were happy. He smiled. "Emily, now that Van Kliess-" He said, but his Nanites started to become infected. "No..." He said, thinking of his life after the war. He calmed them down, but the Parasite kept trying. He even was content with a fight of Van Kliess, the final blow. He sliced him in half, finishing off the Pack. He huffed & puffed, but his dreams switched again. Now it was at the shore, them as children. His eyes started to water, & the Infection grew smaller & smaller.

Doctor Holiday was stuned by what the screen showed. Somehow Carbon's Nanites were....well she decited there was no other explination....the Nanites were fighting Carbon for controll! Actually fighting him! After Carbon came out of the machine and Doctor Holiday looked at him, "You were right. For some reason, somehow your Nanites are actually fighting you for controll. This is is new. I've seen and heard of someone controlling their Nanites and someone not being able to controll them but never someone that could controll their Nanites but was fighting with them for that controll. It's strange. The bad news is that since this is something brand new I'm not really sure if there is a way to cure this or what it might be if there is one. But it would probley be best if you stayed here. I'll run a few more tests and try looking for a cure."

[Christian Exodia]

"I think this would be best. I was closer to the Nanite explosion, protecting Emily from the blast. Most at my range were either dead or a Permanent EVO. Just please protect me from Emily so I can return to normal. But I think I know this. I think a Parasite is hiding in my Nanites." He explained. "As I was controlled, I heard part of this discussion. If I were to stay away from Parasetic control long enough, I would kill the Parasite. But if I was controlled too long, I would die & become nothingness."

[Auralady]

Doctor Holiday nodded understanding. "Then I think it's best you do stay away from Emily or at least keep minimal contact with her. Six is watching her practice in the arena now so why don't I show you to your room? Of course I'll have to explain this to Six after when I see him but like I said, he's busy at the moment. Come on and I'll show you to your room." Doctor Holiday led Carbon down a couple of hallways and stoped at a door before it slid open. Inside was a spacious room. "Here you are. And it's several hallways down from Emily too."

"Thank you. I can decorate it how I choose?" He asked. He just put up a poster: Don't Give Up! & a small laptop down. "May I have a desk & chair?" He asked. He was content with his room. He started working out. He then put up a hanger for his jacket. "Quite Roomy." He started jogging in place & flying around, keeping his laptop in a secure area. His space was his. He was allowed some outside contact. After some flying, he stopped. Then the laptop was busy with typing & music. "Guys, this is Carbon. Long time no see. I can't say my location, but all I say is it's Top Secret."
