Yo, I Need Some Cheering Up

Ghost-O

Recommended Posts

I've tried music, watching stupid movies and comedies, and even playing my favorite video games. And with graduation coming up (I'm a high school senior), you'd think I'd be excited to get gifts, and start my life. But I just feel really sheet lately, and I can't explain why.

It ain't the girl I'm leaving. She's a childish, nosy, and spoiled brat. I don't have time for her games, but I don't wanna kill her either.

But what can I do to cheer myself up? I even tried working out, but, I got nothing.

Read TvTropes

Eat your favorite foods

Go for a long drive (You actually suggested this to me awhile back.)

Unless it's that creeping monotonous feeling that makes all your routines and favorite things feel boring and meaningless, and leaves you with a perpetual sickness in your gut.

What you need to do then, is find something new that you really enjoy. I usually do this by playing a new game.

Think like this.

At somewhere else in the world, kids are starving. Their parents killed in war with tyrants, their home bombarded and gone, nothing left. All they can do is beg for money on the streets, but no one gives them anything because they themselves have nothing.

They can't watch movies, listen to music, or play any video games.

School will be heaven if it actually gets created.

They can't love any others-there's no place to meet each other in the first place.

You're lucky.

Believe me I know. I count my blessings everyday. So I'm thankful for what I do have.

I do need something new in my life. But maybe I'll go for a drive anyway. Thanks you lot.

Think of all the fun things in life that you have got to experience. Think of what you have that others don't. (Rare items, for ex.) Think of all your friends. Think of what great things you can accomplish. Everyone has a unique gift, everyone's is different. Think of your's. Think of your talents and all good things in life. :)

mabye your just nervous about starting on your own. if I were you, I would enjoy the time you have left by spending time with your family. what I recomend is doing what you do best and love to do. I don't know how helpful this is, but its what my cousin was told the other day. he too, is a senior that is conserned abot the next chapter. it happens to everyone.

Lie face-down on your bed until your fall asleep.

Graduating always makes people feel weird. I know. If that's what has you bad, don't worry, you'll discover the next part of your life will be very good. Of course, you'll sometimes miss school, but you'll not regret where you are now... If that's not what has you bad, then call a very good friend of the opposite gender and ask that person, you know, a favor between friends...

Somewhere in the world, there is a rich king's son. He has all the money he wants, all the fame he wants, all the luxuries he wants, and all the girls he wants. He has to do not a thing but lay on his bed, watch TV, whatever the hell he desires. Now look at you. You have to work just so the government can take your money in the form of taxes. You work hours and hours a day to support your family.

You can't think about the negative (meaning starving kids) without thinking about the positive (meaning rich princes). Because being an optimist isn't always a good thing.

Eat chocolate? Works for me 100% of the time. <_<

You don't know that princes have to either:

Be always studying in order to be the top of the government, if you are the government boss

Be always going to many places and having no time to play with no friends, if you are the head of the country

Most of the time.

Go take a bat and smash a bunch of stuff in your back yard that you don't need anymore while listening to metal. Not the most constructive thing to do, but you'll be too exhausted afterwords to be depressed. Plus it's good stress relief.

Or just hang out with some good friends and have a "man talk" about how you're feeling. MUCH more constructive.

Eat eat EAT.

Put some music out loud and start dancing maniacally to it!=D

Master, in your divine thought pattern, you overlooked the fact that normal people usually throw up if they move around alot after eating an enormous amount of food.
