I decided to write a fan-fic! :)

I'm using so many cards I've got thought up. (To make duels more exciting and surprising. And not tons of overpowered cards.) That it would be torture to find pictures for all of them, but I'll put them at the end of chapters. (Everything but a picture.)

[spoiler=Elemental Effects]

In this fan-fic I feature a new way to duel for those who can get their hands on the cards.

 

Burning - Burning can be done from an attack, a card effect, or a spell or trap card. A monster that is "On Fire" is forced to attack mode, and is destroyed during it's owner's next draw phase.

 

Electrocuting - Electrocuting can be done by attacking, a monster effect , or a spell or trap, a monster that has been electrocuted cannot change modes or attack for an amount of time based on the card effect.

 

Ex. Electrocuting and stunning for three turns would make this last for three turns.

Ex. Electrocuting by itself only lasts one turn.

 

Freezing - Freezing can be done by attack, a monster effect, or spell or trap cards. A frozen monster is switched to defense position and has 2000 defense (from the huge block of ice) for three turns. It cannot attack or switch modes.

 

Deep Freezing - Deep freezing can only be done by an attack from a "Deep Freeze" monster. It just outlines the victim in ice, changing it to defense mode and setting the defense to 0 for one turn. No attacking or changing modes while deep frozen.

A knock on the door. That's all it took. To change mine, Castors, everybody's life. But, when there's somebody knocking on the door, you have an instinct to answer it. Thats exactly what I did, and I regret it every day of my life.

 

I can still feel how cold the door handle was. How slowly I turned it, as if knowing who was on the other side. As if knowing this was the wrong move. But I opened it. The first thing I remember was the laugh. The duel disk on his arm, deck at the ready. How he shoved me down and walked right past, towards my dad. My dad turned abrubtly, and the look in his eyes, as if he knew this day would come. Then they challenged him to a duel.

 

He always used to tell me, "Son, I've been preparing this deck for so long nobody could ever beat me."

 

From that day on. I knew it wasn't true. It was a One-Turn-Kill, thier leader performed it. And he performed it well. They took my father then, and all three of them left. My mother screaming, my brother trying to charge at them, but my sister holding him back.

 

I was still on the floor. I was too scared to move. I hate myself for it still, four years later.
