Saturn of Elemia
Kyogre is far more practical than Groudon (for every reason previously stated).Wasn't there a rumor that Groudon was originally supposed to be a FIRE Pokemon? My vote is for Kyogre. Dark
It wouldn't make sense that a "Land Pokemon" who controls the continent be a Fire-type. It worked out nicely with Kyogre that controlling the WATER makes you a WATER-Type, but controlling LAND doesn't make you a FIRE-Type. And look at Groudon's name. Rearrange the letters and you have "O Ground".

Lover Bat
kyogre look way cooler and it has the type advantage. it could beat groudon with water or ice and it xcan even beat rayquaza with a simple ice beamif you just teach your groudon phyical moves, what would it do against a steelix. at the same level, not even a groudons earthquake can penitrate a steelix's defence. Mr. Judgment Dragon
Solar Beam Groudon sucks guys. Remember that. Kyogre comes in, forces it to stay in and charge and it dies to any of Kyogre's Water moves. Even if Solar Beam sucessfully charges, Kyogre survives it with plenty to spare and destroys it in return. You're better off just Earthquaking Kyogre. Groudon should never learn any Special Attack' date=' as his SpAtk stat is mediocre compared to his Atk stat. IMO, a Groudon should know:~ Swords Dance~ Earthquake~ Dragon Claw~ Stone Edge / Fire Punch inb4that'sobviouslyfromsmogon[/quote'] I'd keep probably keep Fire Punch for Skarmory, Forretress and Bronzong and probably have Stone Edge over Dragon Claw. Then again, that depends on the rest of your team since it's not like you have to have 1 Pokemon to deal with everything in the Uber environment and its probably me being nitpicky. Also, as for Special Attacks, Overheat says hi but why do you need it when a Sun boosted Fire Punch wrecks Skarmory anyway.

Adamant Groudon 252 ATK doesn't even need a Sword's Dance or Life Orb to OHKO a Steelix with a STAB EQ.
