♥ ЅϯᵲåώӀӞ℮ᴙʀɣ−ɴɨɨ−ƈħåɴ ♥
Then that just means you need a password to access their Wi-Fi network. Are you trying to tap into another person's Wi-Fi signal? Wi-Fi isn't as simple as just connecting to any random signal in your area. You actually need to have Wi-Fi. Try accessing one in your own house (it should have one as long as you have a wireless connection to a router), or using one at school or some other public area. Twig
Well you should be able to search for the connection, unless you're on WPA security.
deathghost101
I found like 3, but I can't use them.......2 of them need a WEP key, and the other one, says that the access point's security settings are not supported by the DS........... deathghost101
The access point that says "the access point's security settings are not supported by the DS" is the one for my house..........but I have no clue how to change the settings for that...........embarrassing. ♥ ЅϯᵲåώӀӞ℮ᴙʀɣ−ɴɨɨ−ƈħåɴ ♥
Did you try logging in with the password? Just get your parents (or whoever manages you network) to temporarily disable the password on the router and then try. If it works without the password, then it's just you not properly connecting. deathghost101
I'll have to look into that(my parents don't know much about computers, so its me who does the technical stuff on this thing.)..........

♥ ЅϯᵲåώӀӞ℮ᴙʀɣ−ɴɨɨ−ƈħåɴ ♥
Usually, most stock routers come with their own login usernames and passwords. Generally speaking, I can connect to about 3/5 random Wi-Fi networks in malls by just typing "admin" as the password, but all of them usually never have Internet. (Just local networking.) If there's no Internet, there's really no point in changing the password to a network (unless you want to prevent people from hacking your network, that is. Which is why people change their passwords anyway). Most of the time, usually, the login username and password for a router is some assortment between "admin" as the username or password, and the other field blank. Usually.
